someone carelessly rushed Andres glucose i.v.he was to take 20ml per hour but they gave 50ml per hour for two days.his sugar level rose to an alarming rate d doctor tried his best bt my son didnt make it.dey even put him back on oxygen dt day .doctor said he was retaining fluid.i have left everything to God.pls mamas while in hospital open your eyes....ask questions and above all prayers should not cease from our mouths

Hahhhhh! Can you just imagine? I feel like personally suing the hospital. OMG. This is why many people lose faith in Nigerian nurses. Those stupid ones are the ones giving the good nurses like kaffy4bill a bad name. They know they can't create a life and they are being careless with one. Jehovah will ask back the blood of Andre from their hands. Jeez!

morning mamas in the house, and so the contraction stopped after 2 hrs and baby movement was reduced, i only felt some small kicks when i was hungry last night, but am feeling very heavy pressure on my vjay even though i ave emptied my bladder any need going to the hospital,or i should just stay calm. i can no longer wait for my son of consolation.

Pls visit the hospital and get checked to be sure all is well. Dont be scared if the nurses or doc will laugh at you. Reduced baby movement might be an early sign of baby in distress. Not trying to make you scared but dont take anything for granted. Check, check and double check has always been my mantra in this pregnancy. The nurses don know me finish

I'll rather turn vigilante over my baby than having it becos of aches, pain, discomfort and constant trips to the toilet. I'm just so tired of all this sleepless nights. Hansel pls come out now, pls. Mummy is tired

I'd like to know if there's a specific time frame to register for and start ANC. I'm almost 15 weeks and DH is worried cos I haven't gone to register. I actually intend to do so next week make e for no cause fight.....lol

You're supposed to register at 12weeks and dh is right to be worried. But you can still register at 16 weeks so you can start your TT shots and your pregnancy can be monitored. Dont let it delay further
My hospital insists on 12weeks and even ANC is two weeks interval for everyone and once ure 30weeks, u start coming every week, because they always like monitoring their patients. And i that is what i prefer. There is no harm in that

I know how important taking short walks is. But whenever i try it, my legs will swell beyond recognition that even dh will scream at the sight. Is that normal? My bp is okay, my urinalysis didnt show any sign of sugar.

But pls ask your doc first before you take it o. And even if you cant take your routine drugs, try and at least take the folic acid which is the most important drug. Its tasteless and very easy to swallow

The last time I went to see the doctor, I was 7 weeks pregnant. He prescribed the vitamin B for me but just like the other drugs, it made me vomit too. Infact the smell alone would send me running to the toilet. It's exhausting! I got married in April and God blessed us really fast. But I'm the kind that hates being idle and hubby is trying to help, but there's nothing he can do sadly. 

At first I was given Folic acid, fesolate and promethazine was given for the vomiting which is what makes me shaky when I take it. 

My next appointment which will be when I register for antenatal is when I'm 12 weeks gone and that's in 3 weeks time.
I'm so hungry, but I can't keep food down. 

I think I'll take your advice and go back to the doctor and request for drip.

I just went to look for the medical name cus of you. Its Navidoxine. It doesnt have any smell at all at all. If it did, i wouldnt have taken it cus i hate drugs. It comes in satchet and one satchet is like 1k. That was my miracle drug

Good day mothers in the house. I am 9weeks and 2days pregnant with my first child. 

Since 4 weeks into the pregnancy, I've had severe morning sickness and no matter how much I complained to the doctor (though I've only been seen twice by the doctors), no medication seems to work for me. I also realized that the prenatal vitamins that was prescribed makes me very sick and makes me throw up a lot no matter what time of the day I take it. 

It's been really difficult for me and lately, it's worse because even drinking water, makes me vomit. Sometimes I force myself to eat several times a day no matter how small, but as soon as I finish eating or in the middle of eating, I'll start throwing up. 

I even eat fruits a lot but I end up vomiting as soon as I finish eating it or in the middle of eating it.

I've tried ginger tea, crackers, etc but none has worked. Even the drugs I was given to stop the vomiting does not work. Rather it makes me weak, shaky and makes me feel faint.  I don't know what to do, I can't even help myself and it makes me feel very depressed. 

Any suggestions please?

It's as if ure helping me remember exactly what i went through. Please first of all, if possible, visit the hospital and get some drip into your body because i think your body will be dehydrated now which isnt good for you and the baby.
Then ask your doctor if its okay to take Navidoxine tablets. Of all the tips and tricks and medications i took, that was the only thing that cleared away my severe morning sickness within 24hrs.
Morning sickness can be terrible and frustrating. But it'll soon pass away. Just hold on

The guy deserves a pat on the back. I really don't understand this thing with ladies packing their friends to a date. Is it a community date? If they want to see a movie at same cinema with you, fine. Let them hold their money, if the guys offers to buy their tickets, no wahala. If he doesn't, no big deal. Does she even know how his pocket was at that moment? Or was she expecting him to say no dont bring your friends, i dont have enough money? This was the very first date and she is bringing friends. Maybe the next date, she'll carry her entire family.

Bloody show is not the first sign of labor for all preggie mamas. You can start having real contractions and lose your mucous plug later on. Other experienced mamas will shed more light
