If this unbearable pain is nothing, then i wonder how real labor will be o. I'm dead! Dh was so scared last night.

Pls mamas, i need your input when you all are online.

Last night was terrible. I'm just 34 weeks. I was having severe abdominal pain that comes and goes like contraction but i feel its not contraction because my stomach doesn't get hard and tight. I only feel very strong pain at the lowest part of my stomach and immediately the pain subsides, i let out gas. After some minutes the excrutiating pain comes again and i tried timing it but the timing is very very irregular.
I tried to call my doc but his phone was switched off. I couldnt go to the hospital cus mechanic is working on our car and apart from that, the doc that will be on duty is not an obgyn and is fond of giving wrong prescription.
The pain is just confusing. But when i laid down to sleep, it stopped.
Anyone has an idea what could be wrong?

Talking about bath set.
1. I saw one with net on it to hold baby during bath time as a new mum. Has 4 pieces of stuff inside- just bath, bowl. Potty n Lil bucket. 10k

2. saw another one with everything the Nigerian one has, like 11 pieces. made in China . Very strong. White. But no net to hold baby when bathing 11k

3. I also saw the one with a hand held plastic that u fill with water n spray all over baby to have the shower effect. Dunno d price.

Please which one is advisable.

The one my ex-boss got me has net to hold newborn baby, then a big plastic spa with shower head that you can use to spray all over baby for the shower effect. The plastic can turn the bath tub to jacuzzi for your baby when its connected to the bath tub. And it's about 15k. See pic below...
But if ure considering cost, get that one that has 11 pieces. Just that the net inside, makes bathing baby more convenient

Exactly what my friend told me and i posted it here sometime ago. She pushed her baby out while bending on all fours. Lying on your back is the most painful delivery position but most docs and midwives will never agree. I said it at ANC class and everybody wanted to eat me raw, saying lying on the back is only proper position.

I had to drag my sick body out here to post this. Just when you think all hope is lost, Jehovah makes a way and things start picking up.
My ex-boss just told me she's buying my baby a bath tub set that has shower and worth 15k. When i was already thinking of buying the cheap one of 2500 due to lack of funds. It might be nothing to her o but its a lot to me. I'm so excited that expense is off my neck. It pays to have faith in God. I just can't contain my excitement. Chai!

Did you shop thru the mallforafrica app? Almost all mallforafrica stores ship to Nigeria. Mallforafrica also has an e-card or sth like that. You'll need to fund it and use it to pay for your items

So, I managed to get some sleep, but that was in the middle of another round of waist pain, which has already disappeared again... But I'm still feeling the pressure and belly hardening...

Doctor said I shouldn't come to the hospital except the pain is unbearable, I lose my mucus plug, or break my water...

yes flannels are different, they are bigger than receivers, and they come in diff designs too, and some are a little bit thicker than others, some come with hood,there is this particular one that is very good for wrapping baby, it's very big, it's 2in1, it's written Zorbit flannel on it, receivers are a bit smaller compared to flannels, and again this manufactures can confuse u ennn, some they will write both flannel and receivers on the pack.
See the ones I got, the pack of 5 is receivers, while the pack of 3 is flannels with hood, it's bigger than the receivers.

The flannels are so beautiful. Exactly the colors i'm looking for. I hope i see beautiful ones like these to buy o.

Lol... The pain could simply be your body preparing for labor as ure already full term. I'm having same kind of pain too. And the pain in your stomach cus be as a result of braxton hicks. You can head to the hospital and get yourself checked, so your mind go cool down.

Yes, when I stopped taking coke, switched to zobo, had it wit my lunch @ d office, my sister made for me n a colleague usually supplied, am sure it was part of d so many contractions I had, wasn't so funny though it was worth it.

At how many weeks did you start taking the zobo? Is it that it made contraction more painful? Sorry for my plenty kweshions!

You can confirm it yourself on google. It has some contraction induction substance. ..that's why it's not advised for 1st trimester. Please feel free to enjoy with him. Hope it's home made ooo because of hygiene things

Thanks. I will definitely buy a pack of flannels. But is flannel different from receivers? Please what the difference? Can you share pics of the two of them? From the replies from Mamas here, I won't buy blanket again. Will buy just one shawl just because it is in hospital list.

I still bought one blanket o. Because we are already in cold rainy season and it might come in handy for my baby when there is severe cold. So i just felt its better to at least have one at home, than going out to buy last minute

Dh takes chilled zobo every Sunday and i go just dey look am with longer-throat eye, imagining when i'll be allowed to finally take it.

Oya start running to the nearest hospital and register. Shuo! Most mamas register at 12weeks. Pls try and register for ANC asap. Its very necessary, so the docs can be monitoring your pregnancy

I'm not draining my breast of the colostrum dear. I'm only expressing it. When i do that and little secretion comes out i wipe it away. It helps keep the ducts of the breast open. That is why i do it weekly and not daily. It's been tried and tested by others
