Its refering to their purpose rather than their existence.

I prefer Kingjames because it was a word for word translation from greek (I think).

God created the first human couple and placed them in a garden with a talking snake and a tree that they were never to eat from. The talking snake convinced them to eat from the tree. For this atrocity, God cursed them and all human babies that would ever be born. Centuries later, God made a pact with a small tribe of shepherds in the desert - the jews. He would be their God if they followed his very strict laws.

God was surprised that the jewish pact didn't cause God to forgive all human beings, so thousands of years later, God prepared a new plan. God would impregnate a virgin, and she would give birth to God. God would grow up to be crucified for calling himself the Son of God. God's brutal murder by humanity would pay for humanity's sins against God. Then God would rise again after 3 days but only appear privately to his followers, proving that God was indeed the Son of God. Then God would chill for 30 days as God's followers met in a closed room, and afterwards God would descend on them in little flames of fire and cause them to preach God's good news in many languages.

Because of God's sacrifice, God would forgive any person who believed that God died for humanity's sins against God. After death, God would send the believers to a place where they would spend all eternity telling God how awesome he is. God would throw those who didn't believe this story or were not told about it into a lake of fire where they would be burnt alive for all eternity, demonstrating God's justice and love.

In an alternate reality, God said, "I'm angry that you ate from the tree". Adam and Eve said, "sorry sir". God said, "ok I forgive you". The end.

Thank you for your remarks. My post did not intend to judge you, or to say that you did wrong by asking him that question. Actually I just used your post to make a more general comment on PastorAIO for all.

Even this is not such a simple question. Do you mean as a historical figure? If so, then I believe that plenty of jara has been added to the history of the historical figure. In fact it may actually be more than one historical figure rolled into one.

If you mean Christ as a spiritual experience, then yes I have experiences that I identify as Christ.

I imagine that my case is so different from the 'norm' that one could quite easily declare that I am not a christian. After all if we keep hearing that Catholics are not christians then what chance have I got. Either way, I'm not really bothered.

PastorAIO is one of the most spiritual on this platform. His spirituality is so simple and down to earth that it is highly difficult for conditioned and biased minds to understand.

My advice is to read his writings with the heart, and to love him and everyone as they are.

I'm usually classified an homosapiens sapiens. As to what kind of pastor I am, I would say that I was the most flavoursome kind. The kind you'd love to just wrap your arms around and squeeze gently as you handle and caress.

Everything contains Consciousness and experience it in different forms. There is a bit of study on whether plants feel pain. Another one claimed they are more intelligent than humans and have longer memory that humans. I do not think humans are special,or better than other animals. If plants are conscious and respond to environmental change,yes they do experience the illusion of Time.

Let me briefly explain how Time works. When you move your hand from point A to point B. You will think you moved your hands,but you didn't. Your hand is everywhere. Motion was only an illusion to make you think you are in one position.There are unlimited ways you could move your hands. You are an unlimited being,perhaps still experiencing a 2 dimensional reality. Same applies to Time. Yesterday and Today are happening in the Now. Tomorrow will never come.

Look up the illusion of Time on Google and discover more.

The Soul exist in unlimited places. It is everywhere at the same time. It thus experiences an illusion of Time to experience one after the other. Otherwise everything is happening in the Now. The less evolve the brain,the slower the Time.

Look down the history of the bible god. He is no god,just a leader of a race of beings from other star system. If you want to be honest,Yahweh does not possess the attributes given to it. Like Omnipotent,Omniscience etc. Yahweh is a flesh and blood creature who manipulated the ancient cave men. How come Yahweh is no where to be found today

Back to the main discussion,the soul has no beginning or an end. The Soul is not only in humans,but animals,plants and everything we can think of. It is basically impossible to create or destroy it. That is what people mix up with Yahweh the bible god. If you understand that your body is powered by your soul,you will realize that the person you pray and worship is actually yourself and not Yahweh. Your problems therefore can only be solved by yourself.

If you have argued with some atheists on NL, you will know that this thread will be turned into something else, if I had started arguing with him on the reasons to believe in God.

That would really derail this thread, and I wouldn't like that, because I am here on a specific mission, which is to let people understand the gospel of grace the more in a clearer way.

If you don't like it, I am sorry. But, that's the best thing for now.
