Please where is the car located, and i hope it is negotiable? I am interested in this |
GraciousWords:Thank you very much for this. I appreciate it. |
Hello everyone, please I need your help on an issue. A friend of mine this month received a notification of interest from Alberta for PNP. While accepting it and stuff, she went to update her work experience to reflect her current job and all. I don't know what else she did, but her profile became ineligible after that and her CRS score went to 0. She also can't update anything as her profile is locked. Please does anyone know what can be done going forward? Most especially as regards the PNP nomination,, can she get it back with a new profile. Thanks. |
chigozieduru:Thank you very much for your response. I thought the same too, I just wasn't sure about the outlook on their US application. The time to appeal has passed, I think, as this happened around 3 years ago. Thanks once again. |
Hello everyone, I need your help with a situation. The person in question has a masters in the UK and returned to Nigeria. Then on trying to return to the UK for a Ph.D, he got a denial. The denial was on the ground of false bank documentation and issued a 10-year ban. Now, this time around, he has been admitted to a US school for a PhD, and have the right bank documentation. How would the UK refusal affect their US visa application? Would it affect this at all? Or would the VO consider this a fresh case? |
Kennedyiheme:You can actually apply for a green card from Nigeria. It is just hard. You can look up EB-2 visa which comes with a green card. Look up the requirements. |
olalekan9320:Thank you so much. |
Hello everyone. I have learnt a lot from this platform and I've read hundreds of pages but I have questions regarding work experience. I'm creating my EE profile for the pool and this is my situation: 1.Copywriter: June 2014—August 2016 (2yr & 2 months) 2.NYSC: June 2015--May 2016 (1 year) So I have overlapping work experience and I worked full time in both jobs. Q1. Will this count as 3 or 2 years? Also using the CRS tool, I have a score of 476 with 3 years experience. Q2. Now, to claim these work experience points, does the 3 years have to be in the same NOC or I can use multiple NOCs? Thanks. |
I own a Dodge caliber with a CVT from Jatco(Nissan). It is the most horrible car I've ever owned. Car is great but the CVT was basically designed to fail. Drive for anything over 2hrs at an average of 70 miles per hr and the transmission will overheat. You will have to park for 10mins so it doesn't enter safe mode. Changed CVT fluid every 10k miles and the problem still doesn't go away. Stupid design. Biggest money pit for me this year. |
Please help with this. 1B3CB3HA2AD565769 |
Hello everyone. I own a 2010 dodge caliber. The transmission doesn't shift properly. You can rev the car to 5000 RPM and the speed will not go past 30mph. Mechanics said the car needs a new transmission. I read online that it's a CVT. I live in the US and I'm thinking about buying the transmission myself on ebay and paying for labor, fluid, and programming since the quote I'm getting is way too high. I intend to change the car in about a year and don't want to spend unnecessarily high amount of money on it but I need it to work well for now. Does anyone have advice on what to look for, be careful of, based on their experience? You can also suggest alternative websites or contacts or anything. Thank you. cc gazzuzz, radautoworks, lexusgs430 |
Sefa2018:For most engineering programs, quant score is what matters the most. Many schools will not give much weight to the verbal score so far it's not too low. Good quant score is 155 and over. |
natwhite:To be honest, asking people about your chances is not the right path. But it's a mistake many of us make. The truth is nbody knows your chances. And it doesn't matter that what you are getting your MS in. What matters is you being able to explain why you are changing fields in a way that communicates you know what you are doing. Cheers. |
mutico20:You keep posting this video everywhere...but you are wrong. That is a Camry and not a Corolla. |
Bigsamnaira:You want to invite someone to Nigeria or *from* Nigeria? I looked on a post on tripadvisor for you and it looks like you have to do an online application, get a letter of invitation, proof of funds, etc. See the naija immigration portal here:https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/pages/visaguidelines Caveat: verify the process before making any online payment whenever it comes to a naija govt agency. You might pay and still be stuck in limbo. |
Kingsman01:Well, don't be discouraged since at this point you have scheduled an interview. Just know that you might have to do a lot more to tell a convincing story in light of all the red flags that the good people here have pointed out. If you do get the visa, good luck. If you don't, then at least you now know the right thing to do. |
Neeta02:I have. |
LordSir1:I have answered. |
KingStefan:What the dept in most schools will post on their websites are research areas. It is up to you to find out what the lecturers do by going through their profiles and using google scholar to check their published works. |
LordSir1:Hi. 1. Yes, you can transfer to another school even after getting your visa with Lamar. But you must make sure you do that before classes start. 2. About rankings between the 3 schools; it does not actually matter. Go to anyone that offers you good funding. |
Rehabist27:Hi. It will be hard for anyone to answer that question because they don't know who your employer is. The best thing to do is look into your company's history. Has anyone been sponsored by the company before? If yes, then you may be in luck. It is also always good to have a back up plan. It is not unusual for employers to pull their funding. Cheers. |
Time2win:Thank you very much. |
Hello everyone, does anyone have any good idea to handle a situation like this? The person in question had bachelor's and masters in the UK and returned to Nigeria. Then on trying to return to the UK after NYSC for a Ph.D, he got a denial. The denial was under section 320(7A); which is on the ground of false bank documentation. He was advised that if he applies again,he could be refused and issued a 10-year ban. Now, this time around, he has been admitted to a US school for another PhD, and has made effort to get the right bank documentation. How would the UK refusal affect the new F1 application? Would it affect this at all? Or would the VO consider this a fresh case? cc Abujaniv, justwise |
adanny01:Oh. Thanks for that too. |
AgentGoat:I swear. It's going to be a win for everybody. |
GAZZUZZ:Thank you very much. Developers? I don't know what that means. Anyway, the issue is the person is unable to source parts for that car in Gambia. The last time he busted a tail light, he had to come to naija to get it at ladipo and he was even sold a chinese part. So I thought buying the part from the US may be a better option. |
Dear all, I am trying to get this car part from a 2002 Toyota Corolla for someone in The Gambia. I am sourcing from here in the US but I don't know the real name it is called. I was told it is used to cushion the crankshaft. Can you help? cc: gazzuzz, lexusgs430, nurey

Damn. The kain rust wey go affect that car. Yes, like others have mentioned, Wrangler is built for those conditions. People use them a lot for off-roading in the US. But you may need to change the ride height though, like get bigger tires. And a good mechanic in case stuff happen because if Nairaland is anything to go by, na Honda and Toyota mecho full everywhere. |
I found this video on YouTube. Dude put two VR6s into a golf. One in front. Another at the back. How he worked the transmission still dey boggle my mind. I envy how some can be adventurous with cars. This is mad stuff. The fuel consumption though.. Watch for yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzKpFHEqO4w |
Fastest I have done was in June this year in a 2001 Toyota Corolla on TN 111 from Algood to Sparta. The road is not usually as busy as the interstates so when I saw a long stretch of road without cars, I increased speed to 104 mph for like 8 minutes or so. That is around 168 kmph. I was looking out for cops like mad because if I had been caught, I would not only get up to $400 or more in ticket, I would also go to jail as that is 34mph over the speed limit. But it was an experience! |
