Why should Ekweremadu's daughter's life be more important than the victim's? I am not holding brief for the boy because he too may have had an ulterior motive from the very onset, but it becomes evil if we say overlook the actions of Ekweremadu simply because he's a senator. In fact as a custodian of the law, he should be more accountable of his actions

There are still people living in places where the law is not subverted for anyone, no matter their political or material attainment! And until we do away with these entitlement mentality, we will remain economically, politically and morally bankrupt.

I have said it over and over again: there must be serious blood shedding to cleanse this country. You can't cure this country's problems by elections or negotiations, not by deliberations or consultations. What we need is the good old tried and tested method of cleansing by killing all and I mean ALL these corrupt and inhuman politicians.

Even someone suspected of murder cannot be held indefinitely without a charge.

When we say there's something wrong with the judicial system of Nigeria some people won't understand. How can a seven year jail term be deemed punishment enough for the infliction of grievous body harm and attempted murder of two persons?
