I want to earn online, and I want to work for the right amount.

You don't need a book for now.

1. Get an account on codeacademy.com. Choose Javascript; complete the free lessons.
2. Get an account on freecodecamp.com. Complete the Javascript tutorials.

You should be done in 30 days max (I am serious ). You are what you eat. If all you do is program, eat, rest, exercise (I do long-distance walking).

Ignore your friends. You won't go far in programming if you are not ready to become a narcissist ; healthy or toxic

For your html/css, get "Head First HTML With CSS" by Elisabeth and Eric Freeman.
You can also use "Duckett" by Jon Duckett

For your javascript, hmmmm...people might advise you to start with "Eloquent Javascript", but please, don't listen to them. Start with something simpler, like "Learning Javascript" by Ethan Brown before you move to "Eloquent Javascript"...Then you will need to learn DOM well too. Those two books didn't really deal with DOM to my satisfaction, so it will be advisable if you can read "DOM Enlightenment" by Cody Lindley. Goodluck ahead.

I'm heavily interested in this. I've been learning web development for quite sometime now. Taken part in some internships(hng internship being the most profound) but haven't really pushed anything to production to be used by others. By 2022 I should be in Canada and I seriously want to position myself for the tech job opportunities over there. I'm very much open to suggestions.

See we have so many software developers who just learnt how to code and are good at it but they refused to get other Necessary skills to go with it like NETWORKING!!!! see , I just helped a software developer with less than 1yr experience who has applied for lots of jobs on LinkedIn, get a job even though I'm still yet to be a software developer... The little network I have can give me a job but I don't have the skill yet....of which I'm currently studying JavaScript....

Software developers should know that coding alone isn't all you need... You need other skills like NETWORKING , the Act of salary Negotiations etc.

So happy to hear, bro. But learning HTML for 2months is not too good. You ought to learn HTML for 2weeks then move to CSS for 3 weeks, then JavaScript for eternity. If I may ask, how long do you spend on coding?

I discovered that writing goals is not enough if you don’t have a “how” to achieving them.

2021 has been a blessing regardless.
Made my first million in naira through crypto, graduate uni, alive, didn’t lose any family member and very grateful to God.

this is what I do and always work for me till tomorrow

1) stay away from sugar for a while like 2 weeks sha or a month if u can do it that long
dont take coke and all those carbonate drinks
during this time, just get fruit preferably cucumber and eat one or two per day. one is okay though

also get pile herbs from those people selling it.. if u cant get it or u dont like it, there is a particular leave that u can chew every morning to subsidize the sugar content in you. it called "efirin" ( I don't know the english word) just pluck like 5 every morning and eat it

after that two weeks of doing this.. wen it's the d day to have sex, dont be too eager to Bleep and use a condom ,avoid kiss condom o bros

Take the #5m asap, it’s a no brainer
Put like #1m in an emergency fund
Use like #1.5m to get a land...this could appreciate in a year or two
The remaining #2.5m, you can use it to upskill yourself, learn about crypto and NFTs and start investing or trading. With the right knowledge, you could 10x this money.

My two cents.

Most times, it’s easier to dish advice when we not the one on the recieving end. But be strong bro...2022 is in 7 days time, reflect, write down goals and start the year on a fresh slate. Pray, grind and believe, and it will be alright

I was born into an average family with my parents always doing their best to make us happy during Christmas celebration very year.

Unfortunately, I ventured into business this year but lost everything due to the evil employees I had. They intentionally wrecked the business and disappeared. I've been weeping since October till date and left with nothing.

I woke up this morning but couldn't say a word of prayers, instead I found myself weeping again. I do hope on God for divine provision and restoration.
