Even if Buhari takes over tomorrow...Boko won't stop.

Because they are fundamentalists....and fundamentalists are quite simply mad. They think they are right. And because they think they are right...they are especially dangerous. At least a robber has some doubts about his profession.

That is why I laff at people who say Boko is a Buhari or a Jonathan plot....they don't know nothing.!

Nigerians....unite against Boko
And the uncertainty over Nigeria's terrorism being political or religious continues!
---------------
It has been an issue of serious debate! In my opinion, terrorism is purely religious but with some politics undertone to it! Thus mostly a blend of the two!
---------------
Blamed largely on the distortion of Islamic principles (by Muslims), terrorism has come to stay with mankind!
----------------
The "distortion" claim (if anything to go by), makes it more intense as terrorists tend to be highly obstinate! And perhaps the spiritual side to terrorism makes commiting the most heinous crimes against humanity like breathing (easy, just & fair) to them!
-------------------
Heard terrorists are initiated into terrorism through rituals which washes off every form of human nature from their psychology making them beasts and/or demons!

Fellow Nigerians, the terrorism problem we are facing demands that all hands must now come on deck for a solution!
-------------
Added to this saddening news is that Boko Haram has just renamed Gwoza town in Borno and 21 killed in clash with military
---------
Let us not leave the responsibility to the government only! This is a forum housing a very significant number of Nigerians! Let us brainstorm a little!
---------------
Has any research shown any past recorded mechanism and strategy that has had far-reaching impact as regards curbing terrorism?

cramjones:
I remember a bomb hit Boston and killed 2 Americans who participated in the Boston Marathon. The whole media was awash with the news. CNN and other mainstream media gave us minute-by-minute update on how the two suspects were being tracked. Nigerians got so interested and emotional about people they knew very little about. The Nigerian social media space trended with things like "Pray for Boston", "America we are with you," Even the Federal Government of Nigeria extended their sympathy to the people of the United States. While the hollywood-like search for the two suspects went on, there was at least 7 bomb blasts in Nigeria that killed scores of people, yet the same Nigerian's that were all over social media "praying" for Americans moved on and kept mute like nothing happened. What did the GEJ do? He went on a campaign rally dancing behind a twerking woman, whose picture was circulated by my friend and brother Nasir El-Rufai.

Fast forward till today, in less than two weeks we have had over 100 people killed by the Haramites using bombs! Upper and lower limbs littered all over the place, innocent blood soaking and drenching our land; Cities captured and renamed, and a whole lot of atrocities. Yet, our media has focused on Tambuwal. Other new media such as Linda Ikeji and Nairaland preferred to turn their focus on big booties. And what did our president do? He jetted out to Burkina Faso to broker a change in power, while his people and his country are under siege by the haramites. No presidential statement have been made about the captured Nigerian territories. No presidential statement on the bombed people of Gombe and Bauchi people, and the list goes on and on.

Are we as Nigerians and our government now thick-skinned to the loss of Nigerian lives? Does Jonathan even deserve to be called the President of Nigeria. Why do people living south, make such outrageous statements as "Let them keep killing themselves?" Is this now the level of Nigerian humanity?

I have said this and I will say it again, If this haramite madness continues, we must be prepared to kiss Nigeria goodbye come 2015. There is imminent war and violence brewing in all parts of Nigeria, except the South West and North-West. This war and violence will definitely consume Nigeria, and Jonathan will be our last president if he attempts to rig. Again, if this incompetent and wicked leader rigs this elections, then I can tell you with all sincerity, we must kiss Nigeria good bye. History is a good teacher, and we cannot ignore the American Intelligence report on the existence of Nigeria beyond 2015. As for me. I have refurnished my house Iowa, United States ready to be occupied if GEJ presses that botton. Unfortunately not all Nigerians can escape a burning country. For this reason, we must fight this government out of power for the survival of Nigeria.

It is not all gloomy. We have a chance to change the status quo. We have a chance to change the rot of corruption in Nigeria and allow Nigeria exist beyond 2015. We have that chance in General Mohammadu Buhari. I can tell you, the people's General will certainly make politics unattractive to looters, once they have been locked up in jail and the keys thrown away.

A word is enough for the wise!

-CramJones
You ruined your sublime analysis with the concluding advocacy for Muh'd Buhari!
.
I am politically neutral and the following is to consolidate that: GEJ is not radical enough to confront terrorism!
.
If it were to be one very stubborn president, Boko Haram would have become history in Nigeria by now!

.
Exceptionally beautiful, young, naive, timid and feeble-minded! She always opened up her fears of going into marriage to me!
.
She got married, took in and died few days after giving birth due to complications, after-birth shocks, etc. Emotionally, she was not ready for the life of a married woman (cross-check her qualities I gave above)!

Some non-Christian Nairalanders may use the OP's post (and other 2014's unfortunate occurences dealt on Christendom) as an avenue to make the Christian faith a laughing stock! DON'T!
.
The scripture remains the same! And any clergyman/woman would preach it as it is to the adherents! It is "do as I say (preach) and not as I do."
.
Events in the contemporary churches are mind-boggling! From corruption to politicized supposed clergymen/women, and even cases of doing the opposite of things preached by the clergy etc.

OMG! Those pictures really sent cold chills down my spine! Life is not fair! I am close to tears! I am deeply touched down to my bone marrows!
.
What kind of life is one in which while you are struggling for survival on one hand, your life is on a 50-50 chance on the other hand?
.
Terrorism has come to be a source of great worry to mankind! The world gets worse by the day! A very gross picture that has refused to escape my imagination is the recent decapitation of around 31 Boko-Haram members by CJTF and bringing their heads hung on sticks to be shown to the public for motivation!
.
I was indecisive on whether to support that act or not! It was terrible an act! Some of the newly captured young men may be among the victims, however, it is an act in the right direction to some extent! Bottom Line: The act may be stepping on Boko-Haram's tail engendering intensified attacks, and the circle goes round and round!

Lord have mercy on mankind OR just help us and fold the world up once and for all!

OP, will you remove my course (History & Int'l Studies) from your list before I send thunder to fire you?
.
And by the way, did you mean its Education programme form because I saw "EDU" written at its front!
.
The History and Int'l Studies course opens employment doors into either journalism, government parastatals & agencies, or embassies!
.
Besides, you are also inclined to take yourself beyond the shores of your country to be involved in another country's government as a worker due to that International Studies aspect of the course! So, what are you not saying?
.
Some universities offer only International Studies, others attach History! Heard Wizkid dropped from LASU while studying International Relations in 300Level to pursue music!
.
BOTTOM LINE: As emphasized by another Nairalander above, tertiary education empowers and is not necessarily for a white collar job!

Call it barbaric or primitive;it just shows you how frustrated the victims are. Boko haram members have been beheading innocent souls and the people feel it's time to give them,a taste of their own medicine. We all know what the average northerner is like, and what they can do at any lil provocation. I won't be surprised if they go off limits,to carry out their revenge. With the illiteracy level in that zone,I doubt if they'd see their actions as an offence. That's my take.

Nb: I'm not in anyway endorsing their actions.

I'm studying History and Int'l Studies in Kogi State University, Anyigba. I just gained Direct Entry admission to study it this year.
.
Mehn, Arabic is an added core compulsory course to be studied! And I tell you, I am not finding it funny! I know nothing in Arabic despite all efforts made!
.
I exude an erudite personality (people tell me that often times) and I excel in other of my courses, but the Arabic course has come to be a source of great worry to me!
.
Anxiously awaiting the results of the past first semester exams in which you guessed right, I copied in the Arabic exam! I pray God sees me through these 2 semesters and allay my fears rooted in the Arabic course and the GST Unit.
.
Other further semesters and sessions (300 & 400 Levels) are not complex.
.
Even a very significant percentage of the level's students whom we came to meet (as Direct Entry students) are complaining of hard times with the course. Copying (in its tests and exams) has always been the option according to them!
.
Don't get me wrong! There exist some students who are excelling in the Arabic course. Even heard of determined Christian students who are excelling in it!
.
However, we as the Direct Entry students lack the basic foundation from 100Level to excel since we came in in 200Level. And by the way, no alternative French provision!
.
When we approached the Lecturer, he said we the Direct Entry students are on our own and that there is absolutely nothing he can do for us!
.
We've on our own tried different mechanisms and strategies to intensively bring ourselves up to speed with the course all to no avail! Truth is it is difficult!
.
And some dude was even arguing with me when I was of the opinion that French is more internationally-oriented! Arabic is more to the Middle East region (where French can still even be found as well).
.
Ok! Another dude who was on my side in the argument the othe day is already frustrated over re-writing the Arabic carry-over over and over again!
.
What makes it worse for him is that he was caught at a point in time using an impersonator and the course lecturer has sworn to continuosly fail him until he writes the exam himself and scores well.
.
On entry into 200Level, two worries made me regret coming to the department in the first place and/or school generally! I was required to apply for the same department in my Diploma programme! And the change of course thingy here in KSU is noted for being marked with hitches!
.
Firstly, the Arabic course reared its head as a very big challenge, secondly, GST courses were given us (three first for the 1st Semester, five now for the 2nd Semester) with all the problems that come with the GST Unit which I've heard even before entering school
.
The school authority takes us like freshers, but I don't think so. This is the reason behind the offering of GST courses to us even though I heard that some other faculties' Direct Entry students are not offering them!

A friend of mine discussed with me this evening on an old video of BH's attack he watched!

Sometime ago, I watched an old video of a betrayer of theirs who they slaughtered slowly with a knife! Mehn, initially, my body system changed as I was shivering and I eventually vomitted!
.
This attack video watched by my friend was extreme! Cutting a man's manhood and giving him to eat, burying a girl alive head out and her head stoned to death!

Cutting a live standing human-being with a machete (like a tree), dismembering him till death!
.
If the "distortion" thing is anything to go by, same exists in other religions like Christianity too (e.g. bowing to images by Catholics as opposed by other denominations etc)!

And the "small boyish" criticisms of Wizkid continues until he is able to start growing beards! I kinda feel for him! I had his kinda face, fresh, cute-looking countenance, pink lips etc but one thing was missing - the beards!
.
He, like me, wears an ever-young, small boy, immature face! The power of beards cannot be overemphasized! Samklef referred to him as a kid! I got the gene from my mum whom nature has sworn will never get old! We look alike facially!

I taya for my mama matter O! She is a sight to behold! I swear you would think she hasn't given birth before whereas she has adults! Our relatives marvel everytime! Bossoms refusing to fall - Lolz! My dad is literally ageing!
.
Ok, back to me! In school, before the beards, everyone is like "fine boy" "fine boy" but I could not woo a girl or talk anyhow in a social interaction, and perpetually taken for granted by people!
.
Fast-forward to some years later, my case is now one of swinging from one extreme end to another! I keep a goatee and a moustache! The moustache above my upper lip when thick enough, portrays me old, in my late 20s or early 30s!
.
But when I shave it off, leaving the goatee only,
mehn, I look like a twelve year old! The height is there, body mass index quite OK too! I've chosen to look old!

.
My immature facial looks did me immense emotional trauma! High-flyer in academics but not revered! I terribly felt bad about it!

Sometimes i think Phenom is better than even M.I but nobody better than the #chairman cool
Phenom's TKG Freestyle remains eternally subliminal! The way that transition into Drake's Started From The Bottom instrumental sounds is simply out-of-this-world!
.
Phenom is half-human, half-amazing! I hold great admiration for that dude and hold him in high esteem. I call him the dude with immense word-power!
.
"Kanye made 'JESUS WALK', I'mma make the Devil run." This particular line among others in the song seriously got me.
.
His "Best Rapper Alive (BRA)" is a must-get for me.
.
M.I is one great intellectual walking the surface of the earth! His brother Jessie Jags is same! I think it runs in their family! Listen to M.I's "Drop It Like It's Hot" (Snoop Dogg) cover! OMG!
.
New "KingJames" by M.I is a masterpiece! A hard-spitted flow!
.
And Modenine comes to mind! Talk about ill, high I.Q-oriented underground hip-hop, Nine it is! I actually bore Modenine as nickname in secondary school! I think the Abagas and/or those Jos boys generally (Chopstix, Endia, Yung L) are quite formidable!
.
I was like WTF when Jessie Jags likened himself, M.I and Iceprince's order of successes thus in a song: "M.I was the lightning and I (Jessie Jags) am the thunder and Iceprince is the rain." Others: M.I - "he said my father was A Baga (Abaga)." This cracks the hell out of me everytime! "Dem Abokis (himself, his brother, Iceprince) came to hip-hop's rescue."
.
Vector is just there! Nothing too extraordinary! He's got it though!
.
Modenine's "Pentium IX" mixtape is one drugs deep underground work out there! I mimed every track in school! My most favourite track off the mixtape is "Mixtape Material." I so much love a particular line in the song: "you're dissing me cuz I killed the man you hired but I don't give a Bleep like . . . (grunts)." I still wonder how he wrote the grunts on paper!
Celebrities › Re: “wizkid Smokes Weed A Lot, It’s Affecting His Brain Seriously” – Samklef Blasts by MNDY(m): 7:09pm On Oct 17, 2014
OP, where is the weed element in your post? However, I recently saw two pictures of Wizkid on an ugly dreadlock style that doesn't fit him at all on a site.
.
With Bandana handkerchief tied on his head, he was puffing out thick smoke in one of the pictures! Smokes of weed apparently!
.
Samklef, you are a killer producer (your works that I've heard so far can attest to that)! Pure raw skills exhibition albeit we still have so many other ill producers too e.g. the new dude on the loose - J.Pizzle! J.Pizzle is one sick flawless dancehall beat-maker - References: "TerryG" by TerryG (for the record, I can kill for this particular song). Others: "Shake Body" & "Wa Je Banana" etc! Sick instrumentals!
.
Samklef, how about towing the line of Jimmy Jatt, although you are not DJ for that. Just sponsor an album's production with top-notch artistes on it. Producers too have songs without their voices on them e.g. LERIQ ft. Dammy Krane, Burna Boy, Mojid, Ozone in "Comment Tu Tapelle" etc.
.
Why not pick that strategy for your album productions since you are striving to boost your career? The rendition of "Mo L'Owo Noni" hooks by you and the song itself remains an eternal classic and another song you did "Ota Won Ri Mi She" is quite cool too.
.
Other of your sung works don't appeal hence there is room for improvement on your singing and voice, especially your voice which is by default what 9ice's voice has adversely turned to, pushing him into politics!
.
On the whole, I will advise that you adopt the aforementioned "album sponsorship" thingy with your voice on the intro & outro etc as done by Jimmy Jatt!
.
Fame no be small thing! Haters everywhere and security issues! They get frustrated by these things and start doing songs about enemies, haters, etc.
.
Amidst the luxuries, celebrities lead a recluse life and have f*cked up feelings all due to the fame! But drugs is not, has never been, and will not be the way out!
