lyricalz:
Kerry no undastnd wetin buhari dey talk him just dey nod head, cuz buhari dey speak english lyk aboki weh dey push truck.
And to me, I think Kerry's on-the-guard posture is like "hmmm, anything can happen anywhere! This dude is from the same BH north, same northern region globally with prevalence of terrorist activities. Dear Lord, let not one thing lead to another and I get to hear a blast blowing me into smitherens especially with the unwavering Arab/Islam hatred for the West and anything Western."
Politics › Re: Who Is More Relaxed Here (GMB Or GEJ) In The Meeting With John Kerry by MNDY(m):
chinwike2:
GEJ or GMB relaxed is not the issue here. The question is can a buhari ever have a relationship with the WEST. Am sure john kerry regretted seeing their opposition faces. Another gadaffi cant be entertained
You just raised a very salient point with that Buhari friendliness with the West or not subject which leads me to the Nigeria oil dependence issue of discourse.
--
Countries (USA inclusive) are beginning to discover their own oil, hence the widespread clamour for return to agriculture where the north (like it used to be) would make significant contributions with Buhari aptly seeing to it. And the West's tie with Nigeria would sever a bit due to the shift vis-a-vis the West's industrialization and high oil demand.

Politics › Re: People In Jos Climb Mast Just To Listen To Buhari During Campaign by MNDY(m): 8:31pm On Jan 17, 2015
All things equal, and with garnered support and widespread clamour for change, dis man don win already, but hell will be let loose in this country if GEJ emerges winner via expected PDP-induced manipulations afterall! The north especially will not take it lightly, other regions may follow suit.
----
And mehn, with the terrorism we already have, public violence will just aggravate matters! Dangerous days ahead!

OP, not just a working class dude! It extends to the undergraduate dudes too!
----
In school, be wise and don't date or get your feelings involved in any serious relationship with an undergraduate girl! Go the FWB way: Friends With Benefits!
-----
Sex, relationship, and matters of the heart in the university life are unserious and anyhow!
------
And how only the females majorly get criticized cements the fact that it is a man's world afterall

You've said it all! Even we we like dis sef (undergraduates - the wise ones at that), we don't date, there is the Friends With Benefits (FWB) package applicable to the male and female folks alike to save yourself the pains of a sure heartbreak! University life is an immoraly crazy world!
Politics › Re: Group Denies Withdrawing Support For Jonathan’s Re-election Bid by MNDY(m): 7:16am On Dec 27, 2014
How APC supporters believe that the CHANGE they hold on to will be actualized come 2015 amazes me!
--------------------
Support or no support, how formidable PDP has become, the influence it has in this country and strings it can pull will place the party in Aso Rock for quite a long time!
------------------------
Barred from posting on the locked topic on Amaechi being warned by the military for mutiny-supporting remarks, inasmuch as it may be an eye-opener to Army chiefs' and commanders' corruption and laxity, Amaechi had better put a stop to his unguarded utterances!
------------------------
We are in a critical stage in this country! Inflammatory comments and acts that are capable of setting the country ablaze should be eschewed in all its entirety!

Politics › Re: President Jonathan Gives Emotional Speech On APC, Amaechi’s Comment by MNDY(m): 6:25pm On Dec 26, 2014
Flets:
Even the enemies of Nigeria in their minds eye knows GEJ is a man of peace.

The current state of this tribalized country requires a peaceful soul. Buhari who is not even in office has violence, blood, dog, baboon, sharia etc littered all over his name.

Per chance buhari ever gets to asorock, Nigeria will be up in flames in less than 6months.

But thank God there is no vacancy in Asorock till 2019. Hopefully, APC would have changed their ways and find a man of peace to fly their flag.
With the 1914 needless British amalgamation and its eternal aftermath on this country engendering the north's mentality that Nigeria's leadership throne is the north's birthright and/or superiority complex in the country's scheme of things and affairs, we but must accept the consequences that that the British-induced act brings!
--
I was in the north during the last general elections saved from the claws of untimely death by the whiskers! The election violence was intense! The volatile 2015 year approaches! Promises of a bloody 2015 made already by GMB!
---
I admonish anyone who loves his or her life to leave the north before February! The man will keep to his words!
Celebrities › Re: Wizkid Gets Recognized By The World's Most Popular Music Magazine by MNDY(m): 10:27pm On Dec 21, 2014
There is no gainsaying the fact that the dude burns with skills! I'm yet to feel other songs on the album apart from Ojuelegba (my very favourite) and Bombay! Perhaps some of the heard ones (apart from the 2 mentioned) will grow on me with time or some unheard ones will turn out to blow my mind!
Celebrities › Re: Wizkid Remembers When He Used To Enter Public Buses (Photo) by MNDY(m): 10:09pm On Dec 21, 2014
One favorite song of mine by Wizkid! "Legendury" killed the beat to this slow steady song big time! Nice rhythm and sequence, fine keys combination!
Fashion › Re: Which Hand Is Right To Wear Wristwatch? by MNDY(m): 7:59pm On Dec 21, 2014
charix:
Its worn on the left mostly because that's the lesser used hand. Wearing watches on the right leaves it prone to scratches and breaks as most people use their right hand for everything. Left handed people wear watches on the right hand for this reason.

In Victorian times it was fashionable to wear a watch in either breáśt pocket attached to a chain to avoid it falling off and getting missing.

I guess your parents mocked you because everyone else wears them on the left hand.
I find wearing two on a go on both hands and/or wrists very stylish! I've seen it and tried it! It's cool!

And by the way, your dance-walk in Ejeajo video's intro is so classic! Nicely done and crafted! I'm sure the genius Clarence as co-director orchestrated that part! I can rewind to watch it a million times!
Politics › Re: What I Know About Boko Haram – Modu Sheriff by MNDY(m): 7:22pm On Dec 21, 2014
Those who have vowed to make Nigeria ungovernable! Why is the north in one part of the world or the other always with one form of problem or the other?
----------------
In Nigeria's case, an exam question in my "Conflicts & Devt. in Contemporary Africa" course in my just concluded exams was to discuss the colonial roots of Nigeria's conflicts!
----------------
The lecturer had taught us that the 1914 amalgamation by the British's and their special interest and love for the north (British favoured & annointed child) engendered the north's superiority complex and ego and makes them till date think that Nigeria's leadership throne is their birthright

So far, we are glad that this B.H menace, and/or other governmental problems have not degenerated into a revolution and/or another civil war yet!
---------------------
Lately, I've been watching movies on civil wars in some African countries! It is not what anyone should witness I tell you!
---------------------
Nigerians and perseverance, suffering and smiling! Unemployment, poverty, unaccountable and corrupt leaders, insecurity, etc beset this country!
Politics › Re: Photos: Some Nigerians In London Show Support For Buhari At The Nigeria House by MNDY(m): 11:29am On Dec 21, 2014
Buhari's support may be gaining more and more momentum (owing especially to the CHANGE perspective).
-----------------------
But with PDP's control status and how formidably established a party it is in this country, election irregularities, rigging, etc cannot be ruled out and thus still Jonathan emerging come 2015
-----------------------
My post is a neutral and unbiased one as I remain indecisive on the presidential seat's voting decision! But wait O! what if an entirely different person other than GEJ and GMB becomes this country's president?
