MTN has best data network and speed, but have the worst data consumption. Fiammm, data don finish. MTN dey zap data like crazy. Glo has the best data consumption. 50 MB data can last you one day with normal use, including watching short short videos , but for that useless stingy MTN, 1GB can finish in 30 minutes. I like MTN and hate them at the same time. |
erico2k2:Your starter might look like the normal one, as in appearance wise, but the difference is in the metallurgical build and components design. It is stronger and more durable by factory build than the normal type. But some starters look different. |
erico2k2:www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Start-stop_system
|
Teewhy2:It's not a good development. |
erico2k2:The cars with stop and start technology (which i referred to as the modern fuel system) use reinforced kickstarters that are built to be able to withstand frequent shutting off and restarts of the engine by the stop and start system. |
thebigkendo: lol. Then check your rear brake linings or pads or brake cylinder drum, or handbrake cable etc. Handbrake fully engaged should be able to hold a stationary automatic vehicle (car) that is put in drive (gear one) without pressing the throttle. But there are exceptions, for some big SUVS and vans. And I don't know whether it works with automatic trucks or trailers ![]() |
cinoedhunter:Channel your grievances to the Obiano Anambra State government. This wan no concern federal government. That is not a federal road or area, is it? |
No "bandits" can ever try it. The only 2 groups that can be very bold to attack a dpty governor's convoy, that can be plenty enough inside the forests, and equipped enough to outgun a governor's security apparatus are 1) killer fulani herdsmen militias 2) Boko Haram But the government keeps lying and change their name to bandits. Ok oh, they are bandits. The government can even call them boy scouts if they like. Mtshewwwww |

olumzzz:It might get overheated in some vehicle transmissions because you have engaged the transmission, yet you pressed the brake to stop the car from moving. If you do this consistently for a long period of time, your transmission will have one problem or another. If you have a spare car you can experiment on it. Put the car on drive, pull the hand brake so it doesn't move (similar thing as applying foot brakes). Leave it like that for 10 minutes. And then release the hand brake, drive it. Repeat this maybe 5 times everyday for one month or 2, and let's see whether you won't visit a mechanic for gear problems ![]() |
Felixamos:Regularly turning off a car in short periods and turning it on back again will kill or damage your kickstarter faster than normal. If the waiting period is short, like a traffic light that goes green again maybe within 3 minutes or under, then there's no point turning off your car. But if the waiting period is long like 7 minutes and above, you can turn it off if you want. For the average vehicle in average shape, turning off your engine makes a difference in fuel consumption over long periods, that is saves fuel, but over short period of time it is a futile act because the fuel you saved by turning off the engine will be used to start it. But if your car is equipped with some modern fuel systems tech, you don't ever need to turn of your engine, as your engine will go to sleep mode by itself when it doesn't detect throttle movement over a certain amount of time (some 3 minutes etc) and then reactivate automatically by itself once you engage the throttle. |
100% disagree with number 3. If you're at a traffic stop or hold up that doesn't move for several minutes, put your gear to neutral. You can still apply brakes, but leaving your foot on brakes for long periods consistently when your gear is in drive and not moving will damage (or cause problems for) your gearbox sooner than later. And a gear being disengaged in drive actually might shoot the rpm up and then it adjusts to normal, within 2 seconds or less, that doesn't make any much difference on fuel consumption. If it does, then your car has a fault somewhere that has nothing to do with putting it in neutral. In any case, it's far easier to buy extra petrol than to buy (or repair) any transmission. |
Skelewu:Don't mind that one. Enemy of program ![]() |

Buhari government is taking incompetence to NEXT LEVEL. Wawu 3rdavefarms:Loud it! Very incompetent hypocrites |
No wonder IBB said they are saints compared to what is going on today. |
Front0lane:So you think head of service of the federation, number 5 person in government can be involved in a 3 billion contract scam alone by herself? I laugh in Swahili If the head of service is corrupt, then there's a 95% chance the government in power is corrupt. I know trust Buhari anti-corruption again. My mumu don do |
Niger Delta militants over to you ![]() |
This army no even get shame, dem still dey talk rubbish. I support the NPF and Abba Kyari IRT team on this case. If not for their resilience, integrity and dedication to duty, the army would have set this guy free and swept the matter under the carpet. Now they are angry that the kingpin kidnapper is being held under tight police security and they don't have access to go and kill him before he leaks all their secret. They want to kill him like they killed the 3 IRT detectives and 2 civilians bah? |
In case you don't know the Nigerian government dictionary, Bandits = Killer fulani herdsmen militias Highway is secure = welcome to kidnappers den No ransom was paid = victims rescued themselves with millions Only 3 lives was lost in the attack = 890 people dead Tactical withdrawal = land donated to Boko Haram We are on top of the situation = the government has japa No cause for alarm = calamity is 2 steps away from you Bail is free = no receipt after payment |
Tactical withdrawal ![]() |
No wonder GEJ was hiring foreign mercenaries to fight Boko Haram and the mercenaries were successful in pushing them away. Because it's clear now that he didn't trust the service chiefs. They are just wasting innocent soldiers lives for nothing, they have turned Boko Haram to a business center. Advance today, withdraw tomorrow, seize 1 tank from Boko Haram today, give them 12 tanks tomorrow. Kill 100 boko haram today, sacrifice 2500 soldiers tomorrow. Send troops ahead, leak info to Boko Haram to massacre troops. Continue collecting billions of dollars from government for equipment and warfare, buy outdated weapons, send soldiers to battle with insufficient armory, pocket the rest of the money. Airforce drops bombs on Boko Haram today, tomorrow 3 airforce jets crash mysteriously. No air cover for troops again. Helicopters dropping weapons for terrorists and kidnappers inside the jungle. I pity these politicians in Abuja, like play like play, Boko Haram will soon reach Aso Rock, then they will know that God is a God of Vengeance. Wicked evil uncompassionate souls that are selling out the country to terrorists to enrich their pockets. |
