This is exactly the main reason why making those BRT lanes from after Alapere bridge into dual carriage highways to Ikorodu without any demarcation or partition in between is a very bad idea. Yet you fortunately, due to public vigilance, intercept a trailer load of people with motorbikes. Rightly detained them for investigation, then you release them. Ok fine, good. But what of the motorbikes? Did they have proper documentation? Are the riders qualified to ride okada in Lagos? That's why you see aboki okadas everywhere in Lagos, most of whom never obey traffic laws, drives anyhow, constitute public nuisance, damage motorists vehicles on the road due to their reckless okada driving, cause accidents, and engage in crime whenever opportune. No, it's the individual fighting spirit, and that's why our society is molded in a model of every man for himself. Individual willpower is what gets people going to reach the top and achieve their goals, it has nothing to do with the country. That's why many responsible Nigerians prosper wherever they find themselves in civilized countries abroad or push and push hard till they can win if they find themselves in not so conducive environment like Nigeria.

Every country has its own problems. No country in the world today is an utopia. Everyone has their own demons. And not just the kickstarter alone, even the engine is at risk. An engine that stops and starts too frequently is at risk of higher wear and tear than the regular engine. No matter how good the engine oil is, grinding occurs, and synthetic oil can only minimize the effect to a minimal level, but it can not eliminate it completely. So even the engine bearings of a car equipped with stop-start tech etc are reinforced. And you might discredit wikipedia, understandable, but can you discredit "Haynes"?
