This's what happens when you take pap and roasted groundnut for breakfast. ![]() |
Mayor_of_Lagos: That is impossible. International airports have multiple runways for precisely that reason. If a runway is unusable there usually are two parallel sets aligned N-S and E-W to give airlift assist with tailwind for departing and headwind for landing. So at minimum there will be four. If one is blocked what happened to other three? You talk as if you are not a Nigerian. |
The bakery guy in the second one is funny. ![]() |
Only God would help some of these women. You pity a guy crying? Sorry in advance. I remember a dude I lived with in 100 level back then. When he wanted to snatch his friend's girlfriend, he was crying to her on the phone while she also did same. The dude was just using the girl to laugh the next day... ...He also later forked her and gave us full gist. Two words: EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION |

What is body odour? Body odour, also known as bromhidrosis, osmidrosis or ozochrotia is an unpleasant smell given off when bacteria on the human skin break down protein in sweat into acid. Causes of body odour Body odour can be caused by; *High rate of perspiration (sweating) as people who sweat more are bound to have it. *Obesity with obese people more likely to have it. *Hairy armpits and privates. *Wearing of (wet) socks and/or shoes which causes moist air to become trapped in the feet. *Excessive consumption spices of spicy foods. *Consumption of foods with strong odour e.g; garlic and onions. *Medical conditions like diabetes, liver disease and kidney disease. Treatment of body odour. (1) Always keep the armpits and privates clean and well-shaved: Shave all those hair off your armpits and privates and wash with anti-bacterial soap and warm water. (2) Bathe regularly: The action of warm water on the skin kills bacteria, so ensure you bathe at least twice daily and up to thrice on hot days. You should also ensure you use very clean dry towels after bathing as bacteria doesn't thrive well on dry skin. (3) Always wear clean clothes: Change your clothes daily (no matter how clean they are). Wash them thoroughly; allow them to dry properly; iron them (as the heat kills any bacteria left) and finally, store them in a dry environment. Also clothes made of natural fibres like cotton, wool and silk are good for people with body odour as they help the skin breathe. (4) Avoid fatty, oily, fried and (fast) foods which contain alot of additives and preservatives as these chemicals leave the body through the sweat pores. (5) Use deodorants and antiperspirants: Deodorants make the skin more acidic thus making bacteria have difficulty surviving on it while antiperspirants stop the sweat pores from producing sweat. (6) Surgery: Surgery is usually recommended for cases of severe body odour. It involves removing a small area of skin from the armpit and the tissue just below it so as to get rid of the sweat glands there. (7) Botulinum toxin: For those of us who don't know, botulinum toxin is the most poisonous biological substance known to man. Nevertheless, it is very effective in treating excessive sweating temporarily for about 4-9 months. Should you choose this procedure, you should consult a skilled dermatologist who would inject small measures of the toxin into multiple sites in the skin at the apex of the armpit. And before you start getting any ideas about buying the toxin somewhere and applying it yourself so as to avoid paying the doctor's fees, I would advice you to read the first line over again. I've had migraine; once. And I tell you, it is incomparable to anything you've ever felt in your head. The pain was just there, it was totally undescribable that day, nothing like I had ever felt before. It went after about one hour though. |

Lick your wrist with your tongue in just one swipe Then, leave the wrist to dry (this takes only a few seconds) After your wrist has dried, smell it. Any smell it gives off is the smell of your mouth and breath. What is bad breath? Bad breath, also known as halitosis, fetor oris, ozostomia or stomatodysodia is an unpleasant smell that is given off from the nose or mouth of an individual when he or she breathes or speaks. Causes of bad breath (1) Types of food or drinks ingested: Foods with strong odours like onions and garlic; exotic spices like curry, thyme and cinnamon and beverages like coffee, when ingested and digested, are absorbed into the bloodstream from where they enter the lungs and are expelled when breathing. And unfortunately, even after brushing and flossing, their smell doesn't go away unless they've completely passed through the blood system. (2) Poor dental hygiene: Improper cleaning of dentures (artificial teeth) and failure to (properly) brush, floss and tongue scrape daily causes food particles to remain between the teeth, gums and on the tongue which causes bad breath. (3) Use of depressants and stimulants: Depressants and stimulants like tobacco (smoked, chewed or sniffed) and alcohol enter the bloodstream from where they make their way to the lungs and are also expelled when breathing. (4) Health problems: Health problems like gum disease, candidiasis (yeast infection), xerostomia (dry mouth which can be caused by continuous breathing through the mouth), diabetes, pneumonia, sore throat, and Gastro Esophageal Reflex Disease (GEAD) which is the backflow of acid from the stomach to the mouth and also, damaged internal organs like the liver and kidney release toxins which are expelled through the nose and mouth and cause bad breath. (5) Lack of carbohydrate: High protein and low carbohydrate consumption causes the body to burn stored fats for fuel and leads to a condition known as ketosis because as fat burns, ketones are built up in the body and are released through breathing. Treatment of bad breath Make sure you brush, floss and tongue scrape at least twice daily (see image below). Tongue scrapers are sold in pharmacies but if you can't get one, use a teaspoon. Drink plenty of fluids especially water so as to prevent saliva imbalance which causes dry mouth. Quit the use of tobacco and alcohol. Limit spicy foods, coffee and other foods with strong odours. Take more of wholegrain carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables. Take tea, as polyphenol present in tea plant helps hinder bacteria growth. Take sugarless gums as they contain xylotol which kills bacteria and reduces plague but note that the use of gums, mints and mouthwash only stop bad breath temporarily. Finally, you might need to consult your dentist or doctor as the bad breath could be due to health factor. Source |
uboma: Please note that corps members are not allowed to bring their cars to the Orientation Camp. Why are cars not allowed? |
destino24: It's actually the DIANever heard of DIA. But I once heard of GEJ's attempt to scrap or merge these two agencies back then (they had overlapping functions). Maybe DMI and MIA were merged to form DIA. |
And DMI (Directorate of Military Intelligence) or MIA (Military Intelligence Agency) |
@Op; is it gospel singer turned prostitute or prostitute turned gospel singer. Well, just like you (and considering the way she behaves) we are also consfused ![]() |
flaive: are you really going to offer us any help, or just waste our timeI'm also wondering what his problem is¿ |
uboma: And who insulted you? Pls quote the insult...Sorry to say, but I think you're rude. He asked you a polite question, what stopped you from giving him an equally polite answer? Instead you went on telling him to keep on doubting while "other serious minded" people send in their applications. Haven't you heard of job scams? |
Wa alaykum salam warahmotullahi wabarakatuh. Nice point you've got there. |
Senator James: But do we have the same money to do that? Lets tackle our own corruption first, before pointing finger to other people that are even better than us........You also confirm it by the exchange rateI was a Ladokite but I later did jamb and left the school for another due to the incessant strikes back then (2011). |
It's funny how we Nigerians reason; no wonder GEJ said he's the world's most hated president. Assuming it was GEJ that was spending such exhorbitant amount on a yearly basis, we'll all have been criticizing him and calling hom everything in the book but since it's Britain, we keep quiet and say the queen deserves it, right? It's called hypocrisy aka double standards. Always stand up for what is right no matter the party/parties involved. And for the keeps, £37.9 million pounds is almost 12 billion naira |
presegsADESIDA: I don't think they will accept that but they do accept Voter's card,National ID Card,Driver Licence & International Passport.Ok, thanks. |
presegsADESIDA: Ok!Wish you best...And please, can I use my school's ID card in place of my National ID card? |
presegsADESIDA: I'm sure it's because you didn't upload scanned copy[Front & Back] of your ID card be it Voters Card,Driver License,National ID card or International passport as they do send a message to applicant e-mail most often that do show clickable UPLOAD LINK where you'll required to upload the front & back of your ID card.Thank you.
