Nairaland / General / Re: How To Speak With Airtel Customer Care Agent by Mobsync(m): 11:56am On Jun 28, 2018
QuickStandard:
I have been facing this same issues for quite some times now.
Have looking for a way to speak to their customer care agents, but the machine keeps wasting my time.

I purposely loaded 100 yesterday just to be sure, but only this morning its remaining #32.

If this continue I am going to stop recharging this damn network

Follow the process above to call them to lodge your complaint. They'll stop all illegal deductions.

Thanks for your honest opinion. Could you state the reason for your choice? I mean, what are those areas in which the Z5 triumphs the Note 5.

Anticipating your response. wink

VARIANTS

The Lenovo Z5 is available in two variants: 6gb ram with 64gb memory, and 6gb ram with 128gb memory.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is available in three variants: 3gb ram with 32gb memory, 4gb ram with 64gb memory and 6gb ram with 64gb memory.

To perfectly compare both, you'll need to look at their 6gb ram with 64gb memory variants.

PRICE

The 3gb ram variant of the Note 5 is
cheaper than the z5 but the 6gb ram variant is more expensive or around the same price as the z5. I think it's more expensive though.

CAMERA

The note 5 has 12+5 mp rear cameras while the z5 has 16+8 mp rear cameras. The z5 has better picture quality and takes better pictures in low light conditions than the note 5.

The note 5 has a 13 mp (not 20 mp as is often said) front camera while the z5 has a 8 mp front camera. I read somewhere that the z5 does not have front flash. I don't need it anyway so I don't mind

The z5 has Artificial Intelligence (AI) in its front and rear cameras while the note 5 only has AI in its rear camera.

FEEL

The z5 has a more premium feel. It has a notch and is covered in gorilla glass 3 in its front and back.

The note 5 looks like your regular Android phone. While it has small bezels, it's not as small as the z5.

The note 5 only has gorilla glass in its front but not its rear. The gorilla glass model is unnamed and there are speculations that it's not even gorilla glass.

COLOURS

The z5 is available in three colors: one is black and the other two are shades of blue. The blue colors are very dope and cost about $10 more than the black.

The note 5 is only available in the regular black, blue and gold colors.

USB

Z5 has USB 3.0 while note 5 has USB 2.0.

FAST CHARGING

Both support fast charging but only the z5 comes with a fast charger. You'll need to buy a Qualcomm certified fast charger for the note 5.

RELEASE

The z5 is newer than the note 5. It was released earlier this month while the note 5 was released in February. The note 6 will even be released anytime soon -- probably around September. This means the note 5 is about to become "outdated".

BATTERY

The note 5 is the winner here. It has a bigger 4000 mAh battery compared to the z5's 3300 mAh battery.

SIMILARITIES

SCREEN

The z5 has a 6.2" screen while the note 5 has a 5.99" screen. Both are curved around the edges though the note 5 seems to have a steeper curve.

The z5 has a higher screen resolution than the note 5. But that doesn't make much difference since the z5's larger screen made it end up with a pixel per inch (PPI) of 403, just like the note 5.

OTHER SIMILARITIES

Both support dual SIM and memory cards but you'll need to sacrifice the second sim slot to use a memory card.

They both have the earphone jacks but none comes with an earphone. They also have the same processors and come with free pouches.

They also have their own user interfaces, ZUI for the z5 and MIUI for note 5. I don't know which is better but I don't mind. They're both Android anyway.

Redmi Note 5 AI vs Lenovo Z5 AI
Which is better and which is the winner?
Let's discuss. smiley
Lenovo z5. It is also a bit more expensive but it's the beast.
I wanted to buy the Redmi Note 5 but will be dumping it for the Lenovo.
Politics / Re: How Kwara Government Was Swindled Of N227m by Mobsync(m): 7:51pm On Jun 25, 2018
This is definitely a witch hunt. It is obvious the dude has fallen out with his co-criminals?

Why should a government give a citizen money to purchase an APC in the first instance?

Why couldn't the state government deal with the manufacturers themselves instead of contracting middlemen who will usually end up contracting other middlemen.

Well said! But how about if the jobs are not available? That's another good reason you know.
Webmasters / Re: Which Of This Hosting Plans Should I Go For For My New Blog? by Mobsync(m): 7:36am On Jun 25, 2018
Like BrainnewsNg and Dotun4luv already advised, I suggest you go for a foreign host. The best so far are Namecheap and Siteground.

If you still want to remain with Whogohost, either because of cost or other reasons, I suggest you go for at least, the Pro plan.

The dude should know his life isn't safe. He used to be Mugabe's vice before both had a fallout. Then he toppled Mugabe with the help of top military chiefs and started a new government that is no different from Mugabe's.

He and his army chiefs-turned-politicians need to organize fresh elections. They should not be allowed to contest and neither should anyone who held any military or political position while they or Mugabe was in power.

Anything short of that is a sham.

No possibility you been posted to DIA as a junior officer. the 9 months training was cool but gruesome.

I've heard of instructors beating cadets, is it true?

If yes, is the beating usually serious?
Webmasters / Re: My Proposed Domain Name Is Taken: Which One Should I Go For? by Mobsync(m): 11:04am On Jun 22, 2018

Hello webmasters!
I wanted to register a domain name for my blog but it has been taken already. I contacted the owner because the site is listed for sale and he told me to bring $1500 which I can't afford.
Now am considering registering other close alternatives that are available and would like you to choose in terms of which will be more easy to remember by my readers, easy to pronounce, etc.

Wanted to register hiphopnigeria.com b4 (not the real name).
Now I am left with
A. hiphopnigeriang.com
B. hiphopnigeria.com.ng
C. hiphop.ng
D. hiphopnigeria.ng
E. recommend any other domain name
Please. Kindly help me choose from A-E if you were in my shoes and why you would go for your choice.
Note: hiphopnigeria is not the name of the blog. I just used it as an example. But it's very similar in name, structure and industry to my proposed blog.
Thanks.

Go for hiphop.ng if you're strictly targeting Nigerians, else go for hiphopng.com.

Alternatively, you can register the two.

.

Why the disparity between RC and SSC? This is pure wickedness, selfishness and the height of greed.

I hope we get a government that'll change this bs one day.
Health / Re: A Course Not Found In The Curriculum:They Ruined Our Team by Mobsync(m): 11:46pm On Jun 19, 2018
Well written and articulated piece. It perfectly explains the current situation of not just the Nigerian medical sector but every other sector at large.

This is the same way military officers are taught to be superior to the enlisted, B.Sc graduates are taught to superior to HND graduates, B.Sc trained nurses are taught to be superior to College of Nursing trained nurses, permanent staffs in banks are taught to be superior to contract staffs, contract staffs are taught to be superior to marketers and so on.

Until we all realize that each needs the other to survive, we're going nowhere.

In every organization, we need to realize that nobody is useless. The security man is as important to the success of the organization as the CEO. Their roles and qualifications might differ but their importance should never be ignored.
