Ciaralover:Are you sure you listened to it. I didn't hear any mentions of Banks or G-unot on that track. I realise you would marry 50 in a heartbeat if u could but let's be objective if we can. |

Weird decision. DSTV is the wrong company to target. Afterall its the content provider that decided to offer exclusive rights for the whole continent together. Note that the content provider is not the same as DSTV. Instead of going after DSTV, the NBC should be asking the content provider to offer rights to Nigeria's market separately from the rest of Africa. Of course the content provider will only respond if bidding for the Nigerian market is competitive between several broadcast companies otherwise it is cheaper to include Nigeria with the rest of the African market. It is the "norm" in the broadcast industry to offer exclusive, bundled rights in "non-competitive" markets. I'm not sure if NBC spoke to the owners of the programs but they are simply going the easy route and using a bully pulpit to force the content provider's hand. |
Hernan Crespo (ST) - Argentina Chelsea FC -------> Internazionale FC Free Transfer Crespo yo-yos back to Italy Seems like Hernan is the modern-day Vieri |

Why does he suddenly sound like a member of the Mafiosi? Wasn't it a few months ago Mourinho was promising a hard time to anyone who wanted to buy Gallas, now he's handing his shirt number to Ballack. Source More Info

saintchux:erm, I doubt it will shock them much. Lets not forget Bola Ige, the serving Attorney-General was murdered a few years ago. If he can be "deep-sixed" without consequence then the death of an aspirant is unlikely to surprise anyone. ![]() |
loyika:@loyika Your distinction btw a politically-driven and a football-driven rivalry misses the point. The fact remains that the rivalry is in evidence when both teams meet. If anything it is the political angle that makes the rivalry more consuming and thus bigger than a "purely" football-driven rivalry. Granted some fans prefer rivalries to exist solely within the confines of a stadium, but then having football as one facet of a larger rivalry does not subtract from the fierceness of the rivalry it only enhances it. The allegation that the EPL is more hype is not so clear-cut, but El-classico is a bigger rivalry than ManU v Arsenal and it is only enhanced by the political angle, which is also not to the detriment of the football displayed. loyika:Was that really necessary?? |
Looks like the young man, needs a "senior bros" to help him keep his stuff in line. I hope he's not having too much fun and forgeting to take care of the little stuff. ![]() |
shawna:Nope, It would have my fingerprints all over it. It belongs to some Law student from Louisiana, Natasha I beleive. |
kem:My guess is he's unsure of your reaction, especially with that nervous car ride. He didn't have to give u a ride, he probably sensed some discomfort and shut it all down. Remember he's coming off a broken engagement. I'd say flirt a little more and see what happens. Hotstepper:I'll take a random guess and say Los Angeles. |
shawna:Last I heard they broke off the engagement. Random question, who is the daddy? Not him I hope |
Vieira:Ahhh, the infamous Peckham. We shall retaliate with visits to Compton. ![]() |

loyika:@loyika um, looks like you just reinforced Teeroy's point that Madrid v Barcelona is a bigger, deeper-lying rivalry than ManU v Arsenal. One more thing Barca is a Catalan club, same with Espanyol with whom they also have a fierce rivalry. I beleive its Athletic Bilbao that represents the secessionist Basque region. |
mukina2:Wetin I do oooo. . When did u become Asian? I thot you were Gambian for some reason. |

debosky:Not so, almost nothing in those statements is accurate. Nottingham Forest has a better record trophywise. They won the Champions League when it was known as the European Cup twice back to back in '79 and '80. Arsenal has not won the European Cup, they got to their 1st ever final last year. They won the Uefa Cup in '70. I'm sure you know that competition is lesser than the European Cup. Afterall UEFA merged the Cup winners Cup with it in '99 and regularly changes the format to make it more interesting. Also Arsenal won the Cup Winner's Cup in '94 not '96. Frankly equating a Uefa Cup and a Cup Winners Cup win to back-to-back European Cup wins is wrong. |
