EducationRe: 2013/2014 PTDF Scholarships In Nigeria, UK & France by modash(m): 6:33pm On Aug 18, 2013
Don't get me wrong am not saying that their isn't going to be a test, I just don't think sept is possible only because it's tight, they may shift it until January. I don't have any confirmed sources but it just seems so, because I don't think a govt agency would do everything sharp sharp....definitely not in Naija but then again I could be wrong
EducationRe: 2013/2014 PTDF Scholarships In Nigeria, UK & France by modash(m): 1:36pm On Aug 18, 2013
I don't think their is going to be any test this month seems very unlikely..................because if they don't have enough money to do the test am sure they won't have the sponsorship funds as well

One guy told me yesterday that he heard so from a source. Don't know how genuine his source is, but he is a ptdf scholar presently

It doesn't seem like their is gonna be any exam this year.....

12 inches!:
You guys must actually been dream to think that ptdf, an agency of the federal govt of Nigeria will do a test on August 17, and make the results and other documentation available before the sept deadline of uk schools. As in serzly. Anyway there's nothing God cannot do. It would take a miracle similar to Naija reaching full capacity of electricity demand by end of 2013.
The date hasn't even been communicated which makes it more unlikely

Says Church gets N11m in two instalments

Popular pentecostal church with headquarters in Ota, Living Faith Church has been named as one of the beneficiaries of the N150 million over which Colonel Robert  Ahangba (N/9827) was convicted on Tuesday by an Army Court Martial for allegedly defrauding the government of Bayelsa State.

The Army officer was alleged to have used the name of the late National Security Adviser, General Andrew Owoye Azazi to swing the deal during the administration of former governor of Bayelsa, Timipre Sylva.

Speaking while delivering judgement on a four count charge prefered against the Colonel, President of the court martial, Brig.Gen. Edward Nze said that the officer donated N11 million to the church in two instalments of N9 million and N2 million.

Other beneficiaries of the Colonel’s largesse were two messengers in the Bayelsa State Government House who were allegedly given N500,000 each, an Army officer who he gave N5 million for welfare and an unknown lady who met him in a bank where he allegedly directed that she should be given N8 million.

Giving more insight on how the money was disbursed, General Edward Nze said
“The sum of N25,000,000 was traced to Account number: 0000775163 in Union Bank. The sum of N30,790,000 was traced to Account Number: 0000730707 in Union Bank and N29,500,000 traced to Account number 0001800406 also in Union Bank. In First Bank, the sum of N48,055,654 was traced to Account Number 2011252278 and in First Bank Registrars the sum of N13.5 million was also traced”.

JAYJAYPREXY: @modash...... it is still very likely and will be possible for ptdf to meet up with our september resumption dates because the test is electronic and results can be made available immediatey you click the submit buttom. witin three days the result can be generated and other processing and induction cmmences straigtaway for the following week. let me remind you that ptdf will not have to queue at the UK EMBASSY to process our visa. as a friend advised us on this trend that we shuld get all necessary documents ready i will also hammer on that point that we do comply wt ABBAKACICI'S ADVICE and get all documents ready because by GOD'S GRACE the test will come up soon. i will like to remind the house that we should not stop our prayers for ptdf because they really do need our prayers. ABBAKACICI WHERE ARE YOU? ITS BN A WHILE.
It's very possible let's keep our fingers crossed......they should just award everyone the scholarship because of the whole suspense they put us all through, am just tired of seeing supposed test date because all the dates I've heard have come and gone
EducationRe: PTDF Overseas Scholarship 2013/2014: Shortlisted Candidates. by modash(m): 9:37pm On Aug 09, 2013
JAYJAYPREXY: @modash .... how do you mean it sounds like a rumour? do you have a different view or lead on this, let us know but i am sure that GOD will touch the heart of the management of ptdf and we will be called for the test and awarded the schlarship. lets hear your view please
Well it's just that I've heard so many dates and so many theories from so many different people so I guess I don't care anymore. I think the test is going to hold at some point so we can't just wait at this point because it's obvious their having issues (apparently funding from what we here) I have no sources or any info. But it's looking unlikely for sept maybe they would push it to jan?

TravelRe: Visitors From Nigeria To UK To Pay £3000 Bond Before Entry by modash(m): 8:06am On Jul 02, 2013
I think the money above would more than cater for any runaway people that drain their system and social amenities over their. So what do yu guys think?
TravelRe: Visitors From Nigeria To UK To Pay £3000 Bond Before Entry by modash(m): 8:05am On Jul 02, 2013
I think the bond is unfair because the money is too much, some people would be able to pay just to go their and never come back and others with genuine reason wouldn't be able to make it because the money is too steep, besides their making so much money from our shores that the bond isn't even necessary because for example last month alone the ukba in Nigeria made over 357 million naira just from two category of visas( over six months with 4000 application each would cost at least 72k) and (six months visa about 3457 each being at 20k) info from ukba website from their office in Abuja and Lagos. You can imagine the kind of money their making. It's crazy

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by modash(m): 9:17am On Jun 21, 2013
justwise: Cancelling it will have no effect on your subsequent visa application, it actually shows that you are not desperate to run away to the UK, you have perfectly good reason to cancel the application.

Explain why you want to cancel it and you will be fine with subsequent application
Thanks I actually got the visa a few days after my message just before I went to cancel, I got 6months, so I wanted to enquire which documents would I need to submit if I want to apply for my wife she is currently a student in Sudan.thanks
PoliticsRe: PTDF Broke, May Not Meet Financial Obligations, Says New Boss by modash(m): 4:37pm On Jun 12, 2013
So does this mean there won't be able to sponsor students this year??
@abbakacici you seem to have an ear to the ground, do you have an idea of the test date for oversea Msc or its the funding that's also stopping them from doing the tests
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by modash(m): 11:46am On Jun 12, 2013
justwise: Why do you want to cancel it? afraid of something?
Actually I applied hoping to go their during my leave, to spend a week their and proceed to Sudan(already have the visa), so I don't want to miss out on both because at the rate their going my leave is going to be over before it comes out, and what really puzzles me is the first time I applied last year around April I got the visa in like 3-4 days. I just think they should have made a decision because as it stands I don't think I will be able to make it to the uk anymore. I don't care wether I get the visa or not at this point I just need my passport, in fact had made up my mind to cancel but several people are advising me not to? That it raises suspition and makes it more diffult to get a subsequent visahuh??

What do you guys think?
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by modash(m): 5:44pm On Jun 11, 2013
Hello house,
