They just rounded up with the interview with just 80+ candidates, just hold on because no name will be dropped, they are working on top gear to deliver the APL's. Be patient with them, they will soon get back to you guys.

The jist is confirmed. They have called some people, I suggest you call him. But like I said earlier they called some not everybody and it seems like they called just afew.

officer 2. Note : mistakes on appointment letters are nothing new, a friend who got in last year rectified a name error on her apl sure documentation. So that letter is 90% genuine.

Name mistakes are common. Even my own letter had a mistake in my name. What I'm wondering is that the officer I position was mentioned in two places. Unless the mistake was from the salary level. In my own opinion I think this letter is 90% not genuine.

I don't know how it works in FIRS but remember in d paramilitary b4 now wen u enter with Bsc u get Assistant superintendent II on CONPASS 8, wen u enter with HND u get Senior Inspector on CONPASS 8. so there is possibility of been on the same salary level but different designation as they will say in some agencies that designation depends on d available vacancies whereas ur salary level depend on ur qualification. This might not be the case here but there's a possibility.

Ok interesting. Although the designations in FIRS have not changed. So my question becomes if you go for documentation with this letter are you documented as officer 2 or officer 1

For me personally it's a red flag, a big one sef. I can't say 100% if they are taking people currently or not. Although I spoke with a staff earlier who told me that it's unlikely.
