The strategy is sterling and will keep everyone on their toes, including the ministers.

With the TSA implementation, PMB already has a snapshot of each ministry's financial position so there will be less cover for any mago-mago.
The plan is so ingenious, I wonder how people didn't see it,when I told the people around me I believe that is one of the reasons for the delay in ministerial appointments, they felt it was too far fetched, now they are looking at me like I'm privy to PMB's plans!! grin

The new perm secrs & ministers each don't know the EXACt information PMB has about the inner workings & loopholes for leakages in each ministry, so they have no choice but to be upfront.

Now, we'll see how they'll collude to steal public funds.. grin

What if the majority of the people truly voted for PDP? By the way, you SW APC supporters are all rejoicing at the actions of Buhari and the legislative arms, forgetting that this is all politics and sooner than later, your Jagaban will fall out of line with Buhari and he will definitely become the hunted. Continue supporting autocraticy and impunity, days of reckoning won't be very far..
Why for heaven's sake do you like to argue for argument & antagonism sake ?

If you were open minded about my comment , the three reasons I gave all conflict & that should have settled it... And if it didn't, the allusion to the role of a good "ADVOCATE" in interpretation of the law as the shylock & Antonio's "pound of flesh" debacle did,was also not understood !!

You are also claiming impunity & autocracy, the ararume, Amaechi/omehia was done in accordance to the dictates of the law. lipsrsealed

I really don't want to get into any fruitless argument, I stand by my opinion...

The word is autocracy, edit & I'll expunge this part.

Miss Modath, I told you legal issues aren't as black and white!

One only needs good lawyers to do his dirty job in court and I must admit, PDP really failed here!

This is a rejoinder to the other thread by that Sahara Reporters guy!

Let's just wait for the appellate court's judgement sha... All these threads na just to cool persin mind!
I am of three minds,

1. The will of MAJORITY of the people of Taraba

2. A female governor,

3. PDP needs to learn in a hard way

Whatever happens, at the end of the day , Que sera , sera...

There are more than 100 languages and tribes in the North, too. Hausa is like a common lingua franca, the way pidgin English is for the South. And majority of the tribes that speak Hausa are not Hausa people at all e.g. Kanuri, Sayyawa, Bachama, Birom, Darkakari, etc.
Let us stop this academic exercise nah. cheesy

I didn't meet a soul in the NORTH who couldn't speak hausa.

Do you know any ?

My dearest friend is Esan, if we aren't speaking english, matter don end for there same as my Okun family friend once they stop speaking the regular yoruba..

They do not speak the same language. Their language is more diverse than the south. They only have a lingua franca which s Hausa and pidgin is ours in the south. They also have a sense of unity because they all believed they are at a disadvantage individually as a group and their strength lies in their collective stance as Arewa.

They are tolerant of differences if the elites and religious leaders do not instigate them. All the northern crises have their root cause in their elites or religious leaders instigating them.

It is very rare to see a spontaneous attack just because of one hot head commoner.

DO not get me wrong. I am just making us to be objective a little. We do not have to be stereotyped and believe everything we have been hearing.
My grandma before she died didn't speak pidgin neither is my illiterate great aunt now .. sad

I've lived with & around & also worked with them for close to 20yrs now so i already have my opinion & since I'm not going to accede to yours&not ready to sway tours.

I think we should agree to disagree & move on..

It happens in most places too.

I served in the headquarters of Gokana LG of Rivers State, the same thing happens there.

How are our elite different from northern elites? Ours are even capitalists in nature, while theirs are more of socialists. We should always be objective atimes. I am not exonerating them from their thirst for power, but our elites are not better and they are active collaborators.

One thing i respect the northerners for is their unity. DO you think it is that easy to achieve that within that diverse population of people.

Are they stealing your resources without constitutional back up too?
Let me tell you something you don't know, they are not TOLERANT of differences, while serving, we knew better than wakaing aimlessly on fridays, dressing in too tight clothings & male & female corpers maintain a respectable distance when walking together, cos little things set them off.

In addition to ritchiee 's submission, they are united cos THEY ALL SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE...

There is a reason for the word "Miscommunication" & "Misinformation ".... There are more than 200 languages & dialects in the south, help explain how the unity can be forged! !

They are not leeches. They are farmers. They produce a good percentage of what we eat in this country.

The problem bedeviling is their elite that is taking advantage of their illiteracy level, which our elites are finding it very difficult to do in SW.

Come to think of it, when it comes to looting, the elites do not know ethnicity or north and south or religion. They develop a good sharing formular for themselves and share the loot accordingly.
Come of the pedestal, I'm no bigot... I also respect people, left to the regular notherner, they'd want to be left alone to their culture & religion...

It is the elite I'm referring to...

I served in a local govt, we only meet on payday , sign for salary & everybody hasta la vista...

If i may ask, do they give us the food free of charge?

Don't we import consumables from other countries?
