Are you sure? I really don't know what she looks like though, all i know about her is her bias and unprofessionalism .

If she's really the person in the pix then its both funny and not at the same time... didn't she ever think of plan B when she allowed her agency to be used for series of misinformation of the populace and witch hunting of the opposition huh?0000

Can an elected official covered by the immunity clause be extradited? I'm hoping someone sheds light on this.
Alamesigha's(when he was a guv) case if I can remember correctly! was in the UK for a visit when he was arrested but he managed to escape somehow and he hasn't been back there since and they haven't come for him. I don't know if it can be attributed to PDP's influence but Ibori is in prisonhuh
Politics › Re: Jonathan’s Loss Due To Irregularities — Metuh by modath(f):
Which irregularities is he referring to? I'm sure he's referring to the $500,000 that was alledgedly put together by PDP states' governors to "convince Jega to allow the election swing Jona's way which the latter refused or the latter's insistence to the usage of PVCs & card readers that made it impossible for them to conjure more than the 5m of the 12m votes they recorded.

PDP is still in power but it has become a toothless bulldog,no state apparatus will help them perpetuate electoral fraud and Its also great that he didn't mention PDP retaining any of their NE&NW states cos that ship sailed on the 28th of march.

Nigeria will rise again.

What called my attention to this pix of Dieziani is the accompanying caption, what does she hope to achieve with this, bet she never thought things could ever fall apart.

Sorry madam D but Jonathan only negotiated kid's glove handling for himself and his wife, every other person person will have to bear his/her cross.

Making an inpromptu visit to Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar dressed like a faithful hajia is supposed to achieve what exactly??

You are correct about the abuja situation.I had to make enquiries& I learnt that some Bdc operators aren't receiving large quantities but will tell the seller to hold on to the USD and they will give him/her a call when there is an available buyer. shocked

As for the reconciliation, the only option is to start paying back the monies they have illegally withheld all these years. Cooking the books will do them no good.
1.There is no money anywhere, where do you think the dollars they were "sharing" came from? Flying private jets back and forth cost a mean bundle as well.

2.She wont abscond as she knows no country will grant her asylum, she'll stay and the Jona apologists will allege she's being witch hunted.

3.I feel the cooking had already been cooked through that PWC report shenanigans.

Celebrities › Re: No Regrets Campaigning For Jonathan –nollywood Actors by modath(f): 6:28am On Apr 04, 2015
Why should they regret? Last time I checked Nigeria is a free country that allows freedom of association. They had no choice, how much money do people think these actors and actresses make?

Pirates made it difficult for them to earn a decent living as befit their status as "stars" as its obtainable in other climes, its only those who have major endorsement deals or are involved in shady and unsavoury activities that are able to keep their heads above waters. I don't blame them at all.

They wouldn't have had to dance to the tune of the piper if the govt had helped them protect their means of livelihood and not give them handouts in form of the so called #3b or so nollywood intervention fund. Why do you think ibinabo f and emeka ike were at each other's throats?

Now the incoming govt will ensure their businesses are protected and all that they work for, they will control and enjoy so in the nearest future we won't see them dancing on political jamborees and when they support/endorse a candidate it will be for altruistic reasons and not hunger.

If lagosians want 24hrs power supply before the rest of the country then they need to bury any misgivings and just let continuity be.

The lagos IPP that would have taken care of ALL of lagos' power challenges wasn't allowed to thrive cos of the FG's insistence to punish the state for being in the hands of the opposition, talk about cutting your nose to spite your face..

This is not about tribal bias, taking revenge for a perceived "betrayal/gang-up" or show of power, its just plain common sense.

Pardon the probing question but I want to know if this is from hearsay or hard facts cos when I overheard someone saying he bought @ 228 just about 2wks ago,the thought that came to my head was that "this country is going to hell in a hand basket"!!!

When the News networks reported 211 on wednesday,I said change is truly here but this 192-195 is like magic. I'm now convinced we can have it @ between 150-160 max by june.

Jonathan is not from South East. Majority of votes Jonathan got from the north were from igbos just as we saw in Lagos. The bigot is the north and their yorubas puppets who couldn't tolerate a minority president
The problem is not that he is a minority as you claim, what is intolerable is his incompetence, cluelessness and sheer negligenece/dereliction of duty.
The south east people(not all cos I know a few objective ones)need to drop the hate and bitterness, the civil war ended 40yrs ago long before most of them were and what is most baffling is that they are 98% CHRISTIANS. undecided

A conversation(in my head)between my lil munchkin and I

ME--My lil love, why are you so restless?its 3 AM and I need to sleep my dear.

LM-- I'm sorry mama, I don't have any sense of your timing yet and I'm testing my limbs.

ME-- I know, its just that whenever you nudge me awake, all my thoughts just goes into what sex you are going to be,what you'd be like,if you'd be an easy baby like your siblings...

LM--Mama,I know you can't wait to meet me and I'm eager to experience all the love and affection you have in store for me,I do know I'm going to be your 3rd but I am 150% sure that I'm going to be better cared for than my siblings,(who are also going to love me)cos you're a better mother and nurturer now.

ME--stop making me all emotional when you know we won't meet till july which feels like an whole eternity away.

LM--Mama,I'm more than eager to meet you but you need a whole and complete ME to love and care for,my lungs aren't developed, my reflexes aren't sharp yet and my brains neurons aren't fully functional. I also wouldn't look attractive cos even though I'm fully formed, I'm still all wrinkled up as fat deposits are just about to form under my skin to give me that cherubic baby look and glow.

ME--OK then,God will continually keep you for me and make it easy for you&i. Love you.

Lastly, I encourage you to just count your losses while watching your so called leaders who misled a good majority of "YOU" go running to the Fed govt for board chairs appointments et al while leaving "YOU to wallow in your despair and bitterness.
Most of you weren't even alive when the civil war was fought are now crying more than the bereaved, the ijaw never supported you and Ojukwu himself let go of the past before his demise,I just don't know why so much hate lies in the heart of a major "CHRISTIAN tribe; a religion of love and peace!! lipsrsealed

And who told you I'm Igbo? You're talking as an impassioned fellow with deep tribal hatred while I'm talking as a disinterested neutral observer.Never rush to judgement and throw away your stereotypes that everyone who speaks in a favourable way of a certain tribe must be one of them.I'M NOT IGBO....far from it.
You're truly a neutral observer, you are so neutral you are inciting hatred and asking for a reason why the Igbos so stay in a country where they are alienating other parts of the country by their own actions!! lipsrsealed
I'm going to repeat that the igbos will continue to be in the same position till they let go of the angst of over 40yrs ago.
Politics › Re: Igbo Should Forgo The Senate Presidency by modath(f): 6:23am On Apr 03, 2015
@OP,
Since the thought of a Buhari presidency is so abhorrent to you and your ilks,I suggest you utilise the no visa entry to a neighbouring WA country and find your way to Europe or China cos unless its not the perfect will of God the people's general will rule you for 8yrs and then a SW partner in the gang-up will take over from him till 2031, then we will assess if you guys have learnt the errors in your ways and consider you for a VP position.
Bitterness is a slow poison.
Politics › Re: Emotional Politics--the Problem Of Nigerians by modath(f): 6:10am On Apr 03, 2015
@Sammyhoe,
There is nothing intrisincally wrong with being emotional about politics,it is the emotions we have that is the propeller of our various actions, its the anger felt by Nigerians to Jonah's "lackadaisical" ways that got him voted out and anger is an emotional response.

It is when the emotion overrides common sense or causes "blindness" that it becomes a problem and some people's emotional weakness will always make them cut their noses to spite their faces.
Its the same lack of proper judgement that has made bitter folks hail Jona as an hero, there is zero heroism about him or his actions, he knew he had been boxed to a corner and there was no way out. He even made it worse by betraying his PDP associates by only negotiating for soft landing for himself and wife without consulting them before conceeding& left them with eggs on their faces, especially Orubebe who will go down in the annal of history as a public nuisance and disgrace while trying Good or Bad to defend their/his cause.
Which hero goes dancing after a bomb blast kills hundreds or increases pump price while his "people" are still basking in the aura of a new year celebrationhuh?
Politics › Re: I Hate Gmb,(speech) by modath(f): 5:52am On Apr 03, 2015

You are free to leave cos unless God decrees against it,he will be your president till 2023 and there is not a single thing you can do about it!!
