Politics › Re: Slowly The Whole Igbo Nation Is Rejecting Nigeria by modath(f): 5:41am On Apr 03, 2015
Bifwoli:
Igbo nation is the backbone of Nigeria economically,academically and business-wise.If they leave it'll be a big loss to Nigeria due to their skills,their business acumen and their all important oil.

Why should they stay in a nation that picks on them,doesn't value their skills and no one wants them to rule?
The above is a joke I believe? You ibos are TRADERS,there is no single visionary business man among you lots,what skill are you talking about exactly?what we know you for is importing substandard products and manufacturing fake drugs, talking about oil as if the oil doesn't belong to nigeria, I repeat NIGERIA.
You ibos are free to form a mini nation for yourselves but sure as hell you aren't taking the SS with you,and then should realise the quickest the region can get to rule is 2031 if Nigerians are magnanimous enough to look beyond your failings and foibles after you must have seen the errors in your ways and CHANGE for the better.
Bitterness does no one any good,it ends up consuming anyone who harbours it..
Politics › Re: Are We Underestimating Asari Dokubo's Threats? by modath(f): 5:12am On Apr 03, 2015
Asari's rantings is that of a m*d man,he has no creek boys backing,he just has a rag tag of unemployed youth to call on when he wants to make a bit of noise to get noticed.
Has any of you "bitter" people ever wondered why Tompolo got the Nimasa contract and Boyloaf got the oil platforms/pipeline contractshuh? And Asari got a few handouts? Its cos these are the real warlords and Gs, with the real creek formations to cause great devastatation but you've all seen Tompolo throw in the towel and wants to work with the incoming government. He knows its not going to be business as usual after Jonathan gave up on the PDP cause and negotiated for only himself and his wife to be spared when the hammer falls.
Some NLers get extremely emotional in their baseless analysis and go on and on about what "they" will do as if they can even stand the fumes of just tear gas!!!

@sheewezy,
I wish you knew me beyond NL,then you'd know I didn't do it out of malice, I called your attention to it cos you may miss it cos its on the politics forum..that's why I quoted your post and put "for your attention" so you can inform your firm about the bad PR. Do you actually think I'd be so childish as to cast aspersion on your xter when I have no reason to?what about my post gives that impression?
I wouldn't have bothered about the post if ii hadn't remembered you offering to assist with Jumia purchases.
I'm not happy about your conclusion.

@proudy,
That post was meant for sheweezy only, could you be a dear and delete it. Thanks.

The South East actually won this election for Buhari because they stopped PDP from posting the 'usual' results. Abia posted only 300k from 1.7m in 2011 which would have cancelled out Katsinas 1.1m and Ebonyi 200k from 1.2m which would reduced Kano's 1.9m.
How many PVCs were collected by both states? And who told you there was no manipulation of figures? I have an info from a reliable source that Delta's original turnout was slightly above 500k but 1.2m was churned out,why do you think the result took ages to get to the national collation centrehuh?

Nobody is doing nothing to yobo, he has a God given right to support any candidate of his choice.
He also had the time to do the campaign runs cos he wasn't gainfully employed at the time, other footballers with active playing careers wouldn't leave their club to do same .
Dbanj made his choice in 2011 and he today is in the best position to explain how that choice impacted his career.
Its a free world.

They say every disapointment is a blessing. GEJ might have been disapointed at the ballot box by Nigerians, but looking at the broader picture he has suddenly become a global citizen. The singular act of accepting defeat at the polls makes him the first african leader to abide by rules of law. World leaders should translate the current praises showerd on GEJ by them to a concrete position in recognition of his feat. What Obasanjo failed to do in the 80s should be transfered to GEJ. I believe after Ban Ki Moon, GEJ should be the next secretary general of the United Nations. He has earned it.

Politics › INEC Okays Manual Accreditation Due To Issues With Card Reader by modath(op): 3:54pm On Mar 28, 2015
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Nigeria has adjusted the guidelines for the elections to address some of the challenges being faced during the accreditation process across the country.

The chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee of the commission, Dr. Chris Iyimoga, told reporters that “where card readers fail to work, presiding officers can accredit voters by marking the voter register”.
He also said arrangements will be made for voting to take place tomorrow in polling units where accreditation was suspended.
In some polling units across the country, card readers failed to read the finger prints of voters, causing delay in the process that is supposed to last for at most five hours.

In Otuoke, the home town of Nigeria’s President and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Goodluck Jonathan, the card reader failed to authenticate the finger print of the President and his wife.

President Jonathan was made to fill the ‘Incidence Form’ before he was accredited manually by the ad-hoc staff of the electoral commission.

After waiting trying for over one hour, President Jonathan urged Nigerians to be patient with the INEC, saying everything that is being used for the first time will always have challenges.

Details to come.

MY BLESSED& BEAUTIFUL MOTHERS,
Let's make the effort to exercise our civic duty today,its the responsible thing to do. We are either having our first or adding to our brood, and if we assume a siddon look attitude, people will make choices for us that may not be beneficial to our kids' futures.
I know its not easy but we just have to do it,no matter how F-ed up this country is its the only one we've got and it just must get better.
God bless us all.

N.B---i intend to capitalise on my bump to avoid a long wait on the queue even though the votes will be counted in my presence. grin

@shweeezy,
Getting back to pre baby weight is entirely up to you and your nutritional choices,if you have a natural snap back & manage not to fall into the "eat well ooo" trap set by beloved family members(who are even eager to do the cooking)you'll snap back with ease. I have a sis in law who has had 3kids in a space of 4yrs+ & looks as skinny as the day she attained puberty without much effort but she's a tiny size 0-2.
Also getting back to the same weight may not necessarily mean same size as some women's hip spread and stomach muscle loosen a bit.

@mytesti,
How ya doin? I know lil princess is basking in the aura of your love,you never miss an opportunity to reiterate your love for her and me likey well well.

@Ijeoma,
How are you? Are you experiencing nausea and vomitting? Your food intake may have decreased without you being aware of it, or are you more active than normal?

@proudy,
If you are going to stretch have stretch marks,you'll have them,if not you won't. Stretch marks are a result of the skin being pulled beyond its capacity so its actually beyond your control. Some people's skin is more elastic than some.
Fat people with deep grove as stretch marks on their arms are not likely to have scratched it,likewise men with pot bellies.
I have been overweight and lost a fair chunk of weight and saw a difference to my post baby stretch marks.
*I stand to be corrected though*

anyway Goodluck to every1
Vote wisely

cheesy cheesy.. 30-40% of whathuh? Wherehuh? Have you ever lived in the north or you are just going by hearsay? The population of xtians in the north is between 15-20% at the very most and they are in the NC & Adamawa& Taraba.. They also can't match the hausa/fulani with nos because xtians don't marry many wives and therefore don't birth many children.
The pdp governors in core hausa states and other aspirants never campaigned for jonah for one day,neither did they put him on any of their posters. They are going about telling their people to only vote them & vote GMB
You can disagree but you know the truth.
