freegaza: You guys think all these insults are only online and the Northerner on the street doesn't know, right? Lol
Just go to Facebook where there are alot of Northerners, search for a Hausa news outlet BBC HAUSA, DW HAUSA, AMINIYA, LEADERSHIP HAUSA or DAILY NIGERIAN HAUSA and then look for a news that is talking about IPOB. Translate the comments and you will see that the hatred for Igbos is second to none.
The Igbos have burned bridges even if they should start building now it will certainly take time, more than the time it took for the completion of the second Niger bridge when did the igbos burn those bridges? has there ever been a time you weren't burning igbo shops and killing igbos. So when did you love igbos? My dear, the op na cruise, we know the hate in your hearts is real. But guess what, history is full of examples like you. In the end your hate loses. But with respect to 2023, if buhari a very popular guy still had to rig and intimidate with imported terrorists, then let's go there with tinubu Igbos will line up behind atiku. Tinubu will never be president Cc bounceboune7 |

alhassanyusuf29: APC is the governing party and have the advantage of incumbency factor.. meaning they have the security apparatus and financial aspect at there side
2015 and 2023 are totally 2 different scenarios, in 2015 south were the kingmakers and had the incumbency factor, the only options was North to use violence in the case PDP rigs the election.. while in 2023, north are the kingmakers, they could decide for both parties, hence no need to use "illegal aliens" https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2022/01/2023-presidency-were-the-kingmakers-say-northern-elders/amp/
scenario 1.. if an APC candidate is a southern and Northern wing candidate, they will work for him..
Scenario 2.. they can decide to work for a PDP candidate(it's a northerner) since they have the numbers and incumbency factor now this is why i respect the real northerners.....straight to the point, truth without fear. Bro tuale But just know that another round of insurgency from unsatisfied political thugs will finally destroy the economy of the North The north should begin to discourage mixing between northern Nigeria and niger-chad-senegal-mali axis |

asanausana91: you are confused. I didn't say insecurity started in 2015. All I said is the insecurity we encountered during the time of our democracy. Do you have any evidence that people were brought from other countries? If yes please present it. You are talking about Allah, IAM not a Muslim so I know nothing about Allah. From 1960 when we actually got independent, the igbos were the first to bring insecurity to this country. They trampled and destroy our democracy when they used the military to killed the northern and Yoruba top politicians because of greediness. Now iam asking you a question: Have you learn your lesson with the revenge of the 1966 coup? Have you learn your lesson in 1967 when ojukwu had to wear woman wrapper to be able to run to ivory coarse? I will advice you to educate ipob terrorists go and ask about 1966 to 1970. In terms of politics the south east is useless and nobody take them serious no matter their threat. I will advice you to stop porknosing in political matters, rather you should concentrate in selling your gala. Politics is not for you. you're approaching where I need you to be, but not quite their yet. You see , your anger is caused by the fact you know the insecurity destroying your region was self inflicted , you regret it , but you don't know how to say so. Well, just so you know, Allah is preparing a more serious punishment for anyone who will bring in terrorists to help them rig elections in 2023 |

asanausana91: The insecurities in the north did not start in 2015? The insecurity in the south east, is it also cause by importation of foreigners? The problem of insecurity in the country started when PDP was in power and it was during Obasanjo. The same PDP is the party that you are worshipping. In the whole north has already agreed for power to go to the south, especially south west. Therefore, northerners are not interested in 2023 , except PDP the party of looters which is ready to bring Atiku another criminal. The strength you are wasting in writing rubbish would have been used to lobby and build bridges so that you may be able to win the 2023 election. The north is not your problem, you are the problem to yourself. Look at all your governors, are they northerners? Tell me one governor in the south east that is doing well apart from Dave Umahi. Let me remind you that out of the 20 years of democracy, the south has ruled for 14 years and the first bomb blast was recorded in eagle square when a southerner was the president. Is it northerners or foreigners that bombed the eagle square in 2010? Certainly no! They Niger delta militant were responsible for that bomb. Talking about kidnapping, it all started in the south when PDP your party was in power. Stop blaming the north. thank you for responding. youre wrong to claim that insecurity started in 2015 under pdp, because someone else woukd tell you insecurity started even prior to independence when the north massacred igbos living among them the insecurity of which i speak is the bandit terrorists who were imported in 2015 to intimidate jonathan. they were seen everywhere and those in the north bragged about their presence, militia fighters from niger, chad, senegal etc brought in for election violence. plus those brought in to vote it was a strategy used in kano to achieve the high numbers. they were not well paid after the elections and they resorted to kidnapping. my question is, have you people learnt your lesson or will allah have to punish that region a second time with even greater terror? will you try to use your brothers across the border to do illegal overvoting again in 2023? also, if you say you have all accepted to give the south west your bloc vote , then why are younscared of atiku and calling him a criminal? he will contest and other people will equally give him a bloc vote |

This is a sober question asked with the best of intentions.
As such I expect rational answers devoid of insults and vituperations.
Seeing that the remote causes of the insecurity ravaging the north now, are found in the importation of illegal alliens In 2015 for the purposes of causing trouble if Jonathan had won
Seeing that these illegal alliens were loudly cheered by Northern Muslims as " our Muslim brothers who have come to help us against the infidels"
Seeing that the Northern borders are so porous and cultural affinities are very pronounced on both sides of those borders with Niger, Chad etc
Seeing all of these my humble question is
Will you import illegal aliens to help you win elections in 2023? Will you arm them, drug them, and hide them in forests waiting for d day? And if you do will you blame anyone for the massive insecurity 2.0 that will hit Northern Nigeria following 2023?
I await answers

CoolAmbience: I thought you were all-knowing....
How come you let go your baseless claim that I am Yoruba?
That's the thing about we Igbos...we hate to be told the truth... anyone who speaks the truth is tagged a betrayer or efulefu.
Whether you like it or not, no Igbo man, can be president of Nigeria, at least for the next 12 to 16 years.
There is so much work to be done. Not after the mess IPOB created, and which the leaders of the SE, succinctly, supported.
Do you know what razing down security infrastructures and killing security agents mean? That is declaration of war against a Federation, to which you belong.
And you expect the other components of the Federation to embrace you and hand down the presidency?
Let me give you a little fact...the last time an Igbo man was president was in 1966. How many years ago was that? Ekwueme was Igbo's last Vice President. That was 39 years ago.
It doesn't work that way. As for Orji Kalu..every right thinking person knows that he can never be president of Nigeria. Say the truth and our brothers tag you yoruba, or aboki or whatever. Ok do what is needed to achieve result ...no. Just emotional rants here and there Our independent mindedness is a good thing, but there are things in life that need more brain than brawn. More skill than strength. This is where were missing it. When our strategy fails we resort to bullying. See how ipob are now punishing our own people in the homeland for the failures of their own strategy. Well ,I know there are those of us that will continue to say what is needed |

I had a very strange experience on nairaland. The day before yesterday around 7pm I made a thread titled ...arise tv interview has damaged orji kalu. There was no pic or video attached to it. It slowly ran its course, picking up a few hundred views, about 7 or 8 comments and so on. It was just a normal thread Around 7.30am the following day I suddenly noticed an attached video, an edited title , numerous active viewers, And it was now on front page. What happened. I didn't make those changes. Does anyone else have access to our nairaland account but the owner? Do the mods edit a thread before taking it to fp? Did a mod do this? Is it allowed Is seun aware We're approaching campaigns and the possibility that politicians can infiltrate nairaland moderators is a scary thought. While the substance of my thread remained the same, those edits maximized the impact in a certain direction. Again the thought of my thread adjusted by someone else is scary. KosiGee: Someone aspiring to be the president of Nigeria should be able to communicate effectively. Buhari has been a disaster and it shouldn’t be an excuse or justification to have someone like Orji Uzor Kalu there. Orji Uzor was messed up by that interview. We all should be glad that Abati and co are exposing these men.
Composure under pressure and ability to express your thoughts coherently are not qualities you’d dismiss especially for Kalu and other politicians. Kalu was rattled, lacks the emotional intelligence and cerebral power required to occupy Aso Rock. No excuses here.
I admire him, he achieved financial independence very early in life, under him…Enyimba conquered Africa twice. I’ll always respect him for that….but as the president of Nigeria, it’s a big NO. Pls no one should mention Tinubu or Buhari here. I’m Nwafo Igbo and a very proud one but this is not political witch hunt. Kalu simply hasn’t got it.
I felt the same way when I heard Tony Nwoye, Andy Uba, Chris Uba,Ifeanyi Uba, Okezie Ikpeazu and even Rochas Okorocha. As an Igbo man, I think these men above have their leadership qualities but they are seriously deficient. I also read Pius Anyim’s response to Dave Umahi when they had issues and I was very disappointed. He sounded like an upper iweka charge and bail lawyer.
Igbo can do better but not with some of these charlatans. They shouldn’t be flying our flag. I see a kindred spirit Seems there are quite a number of us. It doesn't make us less igbo, we are actually doing a service to the homeland. Ndewo |

Buhari used Tinubu to clinch the presidential seat that he failed 3times to get .on the other hand Tinubu thought he would be closer to the president and get power to prepare for his presidential ambition after Buhari Tenor ... But the reverse is the case .Tinubu was shut of of Aso Rock and only Buhari cronies became the lords of the manor. No...I'm using the word ...use...in a different sense. Of course the fulani have been the perennial users and winners. I'm only saying, as it stands, that status quo is the most viable path forward for a certain segment of the South. Tinubu will run into a very formidable fulani led opposition in the South. Yes. A portion of the South will fanatically fight as fulani foot soldiers to ensure a fulani presidency in 2023, and their reason will be...tinubu worked for fulani in 2015 |

PeaceJoyLove: Another one again.. Tinubu! Using Tinubu as an excuse for Kalu's failure...yet, you want to have Ado Rock.. Always making Yoruba the benchmark. When you make someone your benchmark, you cannot overtake the person. This is a simple logic.
Tinubu that I know will not come out for interview now. Mark it. He will wait for the right time. But listen to him when he talks....well articulated. Did you read how he defended the way he made his money? He simply narrated how he made about $1million when he worked for Delloite and went to Saudi. Lol. ...he said before he landed in the US, they credited him... for mentioning Saudi...it means he is telling you that go and add up the rest of the story. And he left the US after to Nigeria....after doing Saudi runs. He is stylishly telling you that the business continues bigger in Nigeria which is an oil nation....lol. And he crossed to Mobil in Nigeria. Cant you see where he led you?
Who will ask him anything again when it can be verified that he got almost $1milillion from a single deal in the 80s. That was in the 80s sir. He first became a senator in 1996 or so. The same Senate Orji is doing now. So, who will challenge him further?
See, Tinubu is a master planner. He doesnt fail. This is what I know about him. First time he contested senatorial seat, he won. First time he contested gubernatorial seat, he won. He made Buhari president after 12 good years of failure. And now, he is coming out for the first time as a presidential aspirant.....lol. ..what do you think?
I am not his fan. I do not want him to be the president of Nigeria, but you cannot compare him with this nonsense here. I agree with you that tinubu is an articulate man, and also well organised. He probably has had a top notch international media team for the past year and half fine tuning his strategy I doubt if orji kalu even put 15 minutes of preparation into this interview. This was a mess, given the potential it had to project him. That being said, tinubu still has some awful lot of work to do. I expect him to get the apc nomination, and to face off with atiku. If that happens he may not win the presidency |

omoharry: Fulani man does not understand what equity means. It's In thier blood to elevate their own only and oppress others . Don't trust any Fulani man with power. They go way over board when they are in a position of power .
Before 2015 election, if Buhari had been told to do frog jump from beginning of 3rd mainland bridge to the end, just for him to become president,he would gladly do it and tell you thank you ...
They are very humble before they take power but becomes monster toward other ethnic group when they get into power . Dont trust any Fulani. They are thesame with a common sense of purpose. That is why they cannot critisize thier own. No matter the degree of atrocities they are known to have committed against other tribes. Well the problem with your position is that, people who despise fulani still use them when it suits them. The yoruba voted in buhari...for example, and used him to get a lot of the juice of government. So right now, in my calculation, the igbo could decideto vote fulani also, and use them to get their own juice. This year may not be the best year to try to throw off the looming influence of fulani in our politics. The distrust between East an West runs deep. And I think fulani are positioned to cash out |
