Thanks everyone for your sincere contributions and advises, I really appreciate. I think I will follow the majority of advises here by withdraw him from that school at the end of this term. |
Maeve7:According to his mum, he doesn't say anything about his teacher. The urinating part is what made be believes something is wrong somewhere in his class. What I notice about my little boy is that, he use to felt so bad and withdrawal whenever you scream at him. |
Mindlog:Yes, she is the same teacher. No, he doesn't, except once in a while when his mum force him to wear shoes he doesn't like. She actually discussed it with us this morning, but not totally agree with them, and she promised to watch him for one more week. I wonder how she quickly took the decision today. |
My son is 5 years old in primary 1, a very brilliant boy throughout his pre- nursery and nursery classes. The issue started when he was promoted to primary 1, it was then that his new teacher started complaining about his inability to be active in class or catch up with other kids. She claim that the boy didn't read or write whenever she instructed him to do so. Me and his mum personally took it upon ourselves at home, and the boy read and write everything we ask him to do very excellently. We took the matter to the proprietress of the school who later ďisçovered he can actually ŕead òŕ write. Just last week, his teachers start complaining again that the boy urinating on his body, something his little brother of 2 years old cannot do. This is the same boy that have been urinating by himself before he clock 2 years. They complain he doesn't respond to instructions or be active in class. The proprietress called this morning that they need to return the boy to Nursery class as it seem that the work load is too much for him to manage. I was so surprise to hear this because he didn't seem having this issue whenever his mum is teaching him at home. And to my utmost surprise, he has been return to the nursery class when his mum went their to pick him this evening. Actually, I don't have problem with him returning to Nursery class but my major concern is if the boy is justifiably denied from being with his colleagues or not. I am so confused right now, I am even contemplating of withdrawing him from that school by the end of this session. Let me also add the fact that he always feel sad and unhappy whenever he is going to school. This same issue started during holiday lesson in his new class. I want to ask experience teachers or parents here how they manage such an issue. I don't want my boy to be unjustifiable denied his progress. My question is that, should I allow the school to take their position on him or I should simply withdraw him from that school since I know very well he can actually do what they claim he could not do. Mod please help me push this post to where I will gain alot of responses. Thank you. |
dnimali:What a senseless comment. You must be one local Peter Obi supporter I guess. |
richidinho:So, you think the same way as these thieves called themselves politicians? If I had my way into power, I will even ensure we put an end to state government because they have no use to development of the country. If you were very must mature around 18's and 90's when local governments are allow to function, this news would've been a thing of joy to you. |
Exousiang01:This is same misconceptions that baba is trying to correct. There is nothing like discipline if you face sexual temptation from your spec of a woman or man. The only option is to not to allow the closeness that will lead to it. That is why some men are now fathering another man's children, because they trust blindly in their relationship or marriage. |
nwahimakper:You are 100% right, all of them and we the masses are not any better. Nigerians are the most unpatriotic beings roaming the earth, we lacks conscience when it comes to public fund and humanity. |
Biglittlelois:Agreed, I didnt see "Ghanian grandma" while quickly gone through the post. You should've simply point out the error withiout being rude and uncultured. Besides, where in my post did I denigrate Nigeria? If I may ask, you are the one that have comprehensive issue and not the person you are ignorantly insulted. |
nairaman66:I won't insult you back because you are obviously ignorant of who I am or represent. If abroad is so luxury to you and your family, it doesn't to mine because we are not only living there, but many of us are citizens of USA and the UK. My mum has access to every basic amenities in Nigeria, and she loves to spend her last years on earth in her natural habitat where she can mingle and play with her colleagues. So, it is not my fault that your parents lacks basic amenities in Nigeria, and were not exposed enough in their active days to the extent that they would be so freak about life outside their country. |
I don't blame the grandma but her son who could not give her comfortable life in Nigeria. There are countless grandmas including mine who are living like queens with everything good life can offer in Nigeria. You will even beg them to follow and spend few months with you, let alone refusing to come back. Older people love nature, infact I have seen many of them relocated from Lagos and Abuja to their home towns to enjoy abundance of nature. |
Lucky did the right thing, and the mother nature will continue to favour him in many ways. I would've equally do the same, all of us from my parents has been taught from childhood never to take possession of what is not belong to us, and we all still upheld to that believe till today. |
Corruption in Africa, particularly in Nigeria is a culture, no man born in a woman can tame it, because we are all binded by the same culture. This attitude is borne out of our domineering tendencies and the quest to subjugate others to our wills. |
chikason22:The virus die very fast outside of the host, so the changes of getting it from sharing objects or clipper is very very low. Sex is the ultimate channel of getting HIV, in which anal sex takes huge percentage of the chances. |
sylve11:Exactly, all symptoms listed are also signs of many diseases. |
Maxymilliano:That is their usual way, he doesn't need to build from the scratch again, he has everything including die hard followers to start a new church. |
kokoA:Don't mind him, people forgot that there are some problems that even your wife and children will have no choice but to call attention of those you feel are not important. The family you created could be the first on the scale of preference but the one you came from should also be important to you. |
89green:They might be right, despite astronomical increase in the price of stable foods, government are not investing heavily in agriculture and outgrowers scheme. Besides, they are yet to find a lasting solution to farmers - Herders crisis that usually prevent alot of Farmers to farm peacefully in their farms. |
Men are the main reason some women cheat on them. One thing you should never tolerate from a woman is male bestie/colleague and needless communication between them. A woman that keep male friends or having lengthy communication with other men is one step from cheating on her man. You must as a matter of urgency, create certain fear in woman before or immediately after marriage. A woman can love you and still cheat on you but a woman that fear the consequences of getting caught by you will hardly cheat on you. If you had dragged her like a tiger generator the first time you suspected her, she would've stopped that nonsense by now. Besides, don't ever make a mistake of reporting a woman to her parents again, let your action tell them itself, that is the only way your wife and her family can take you serious. |
100% agreed, if you are not part of them, and you are supporting these stupid people thinking they are doing what is right, you are only doing yourself. Shutting down national grid by those who are not up to 30% of entire working force on over 200 millions people is act of treason, and anyone found guilty should be dealt with. Let government grant their wish and see if you will survive the new economic hardship that will follow. Even the proposed 60k will bring about another set of hyperinflation, let alone 100k and more. It would've been reasonable enough to vehemently demands return of subsidy instead of fighting for unrealistic salary increasment that will still become useless in next few months and subsequently put non salary earners and unemployed into abject poverty. |
madridguy:Exactly, how can a group of people who are not up to 30% of entire working population in Nigeria threw over 200 millions people into darkness in the name of fighting for minimum wage. These people are too selfish, unrealistic and outrightly stupid at the same time. If Government are to pay you over 400k minimum wage, where do you expect state government, private companies and individuals businesses to see money to pay their workers? Ideally, NLC is telling us that only government workers deserve to live and other can go to hell. It would've been reasonable enough to demand return of subsidy rather than demanding outrageous salary that could eventually paralysed the economy. |
I don't think he does because youths are yet to enjoy anything from his administration after one year. The ban on crypto trading that keep over 20 millions Nigeria youths busy from unemployed/enderemployed situation in the country is another blow to his promise of prioritising youths development. Jobs, you don't provide, then the little they are making from trading digital assets, you still block it in the name of fighting dollar speculation in which every sensible Nigerian knows that the major culprits are politicians/elites saving billions of dollars in their various bunkers or domiciliary accounts. |
Love800:I don't think you really understand the subject matter being discussed here. |
budaatum:Yes, farmers don't make enough money from their investment due to lack of genuine support from government. 1. Poor storage facility. 2. Poor marketing or pricing system as majority of farm products dealers are mostly uneducated and still operating on traditional ways. 3. Lack of well structured agricultural loan and credit. 4. Land use act. 5. Lack of good road and experience labourers. If government can provide storage facilities, finance and ready markets for farm products, alot of big players will invest heavily in agriculture. |
budaatum:Alot of mechanised farms will spring up to produce at cheaper rate. Besides, farms products from farms are usually cheap, it is greedy middlemen that made everything difficult for the final consumers. Salary increasment in Nigeria has proven to be a waste of time, your so call 650k per month could amount to nothing again in six months time. Let focus on purchasing power if naira instead of unnecessary creation of another problem by salary increasment. |
tiswell:Infact, this is the real definition of low self esteem unexposed man. Imagine bringing this type of silly thing on social media, something a right thinking man would've solved within a second. Why wasted 7 years of your life doing relationship with creatures that have high tendency to switch loyalty in a matter of days. As a bachelor, if you want to have a good wife, please date at least 8 girls on your journey to marriage and pick a sensible one among them. That was what I did back then, and I never regretted marrying her after years of marriage. |
dangotesmummy:Lolz, cast for what? That will only happened if she doesn't play her game very well. It baffled me how easily you used the term "classy and clean" on people you know absolute nothing about other than seeing them on your screen. Be careful in life, so that people, specially women will not use pretence to get their ways with you. |
Squirrel1:Oil dey your head, no woman is decent, majority are pretenders, while the rest are yet to see a good offer. |
dangotesmummy:Ireti dressing style and role in movies is a brand, it is quite different from her lifestyle or being classy. If you had seen much of her movie, you will notice that her dressing is usually synonymous to the roles plays. So, after seeing her daughter dressed like this in her present, you don't need a soothsayer to tell you that Ireti is not as decent as you think. What my very eyes have seen in self acclaim decent people off public notice is enough to say all humans are hypocrites. |
UnstableFC:The liver can't fail because of this one encounter, and he won't be doing that consistently or everyday. This is a food competition, be optimistic and congratulate him. |
Paraman:You did well by quoting the illiterate with fact. |
We all know that, the only problem is who will have that boldness to practically initiate the process. The only one person that can do it must be from southern Nigeria, and that person is Bola Tinubu. I am 100% sure it would be his remarkable achievement for Nigeria. When and how he will do it is what I can't say, maybe during his second term or 3rd year of this current administration ( especially if the next political calculation won't favour his second term ambition). |
