naijaboy756: people that were patient with Buhari nkor? It doesn't matter, you can only predict but will never know tomorrow. Don't judge this administration from what we passed through with Buhari. My point is that, it is too early to judge him. If nothing come out of these new economic measures by May 2025, I will not only criticise him, but campaign against anything associated with his government and APC with everything within my capacity. |

Some Nigerians can better be tag empty brains. Buhari disasterous 8 years in power is now better than someone who just spent less than 3 months with economic woe being inherited from calamitous former regime.
Why are we this impatient and lack foresight in this country. You can only judge him if this current sacrifice does not yield any meaningful development in the next two years. |

greatiyk4u: Opinion of only Tinubu supporters
Here is my opinion
This is the worst state of the nation address I have heard.
1. We are only told about how people stole Nigeria dry, but we're never told what will happen to them.
2. You know we are suffering under your administration, which means we were better off under those that were stealing the money under the subsidy regime.
3. There is so much about sharing money proposal without knowing how we are going to get better. Hmmm inflation looms with so much money in circulation
4. Nothing was said about the refineries, so what is the hope that the fuel is going down anytime soon or are we waiting for Dangote as our saviour?
5. So much rhetoric but nothing was said about public power or other sources of energy. No matter the amount of money you give to SMSEs if the operating environment with high energy consumption remains high, he may likely fail
6. Our roads are death traps nothing was said about its urgency.
7. This Government seems set to distribute money for their cronies using different schemes.
8. I see nothing new with other past administrations when it comes to bogus promises of helping farmers , increasing salaries of civil servants, and supporting SMSEs
9. Forex harmonisation is good but eventually it looks like we played into the world bank and IMF to devalue our currency. Don't we know those speculating the naira?
10. This administration seems not ready to deal with corruption headlong instead everything has been pushed to the citizens, especially to the poor Nigerians. I prefer this 50 billions be channels to 50 big organisations or businesses that are capable of employing youths rather than SMSEs. No money distributed to SMSEs under whatever schemes will ever reach the right people, so why embarking on the same path that previous governments has been following since inception of democracy. |
Career › Re: Is The Manager Conniving With The Security To Work Against Me? by modernWays: 3:38pm On Aug 01, 2023 |
Onpoint1010: I worked with two guys and 3 girls as their security chief in a fast food restaurant as contract staffs. The guys were something else but I managed them although we had back and forth arguments because they were trying to disobey my directives.
As time went by, the then manager told me about a vacant position, "Store Manager" and helped me to apply. Unfortunately, he was transferred before I was fully employed so, he handed me over to the new manager and assistant manager.
I was employed and was happy. Those two boys then began to conspired against me, they are psychologically smart and to an extend fearless and manipulative, I like them for that.
Just of recent, they began working against me with the manager, they stopped helping me to offload goods to the store and so, I decided to stop them from entering the store to charge their phones. But they boldly told me that I can't stop them and if I do, they will beat me. They have muscle more than I do. I knew they can beat me but I decided that I won't back down.
Yesterday, I stopped the now security chief from entering the store but the manager told me to allow them. This is the same manager that supported me initially to stop anyone I want from entering the store house and to lock it each time I want to go out.
Right now, I don't know what to do, I feel like the manager is trying to make me powerless in the office.
I want to know, does the manager have the right to ask the guards to keep entering the store room or I should continue to resist them?
Any store man or woman who has had similar experience, how did you overcome it. Why are they working against you? What did you do to them that made them stopped helping you? |

TheUnsure: Lol, i dont think so. The package is juicy (promise of landed property and a lot more) but the main subject...physical attraction is very important for me. I love money and the good life but genuinely wanting my partner is also a big deal for me. As a single mother of 2 children, 90% of men that will accept to marry you would either be married or widowers. The other 10% are broke adults who want to use you to start their own families. If you see a generous rich man that still beg to settle down with you, aunty please count yourself lucky. Maybe because you are already single mum, because a woman above 30 normally focus on qualities other than physical attributes. Let me tell you a bitter truth, you can only get the kind of men you described as boyfriend and fu-ck mate, A mature guy that is tall, handsome, rich and caring, and ready to take a wife won't settle for single mother but fresh single. |

Money is absolutely everything, infact you need nothing in this modern world but money.
The only thing that seem better than money is good health and peace of mind, but remember, poverty too can't give peace of mind, and could send someone to an early grave from common simple ailments. |

Romance › Re: My Wife And Side Chic by modernWays: 5:43pm On Jul 28, 2023 |
eglobalcafe: Good evening guys, please I need some advice, my wife had pcos then that she couldn't get pregnant and now it's almost our 4th year in the marriage, after doing 2 ivf I told myself not to do it again because the money was not there and adoption is not my thing. So I was worried because am not the kind of man that like polygamy.
Now after we stop the ivf my wife started taking supliments and now she's pregnant after 7 months of taking the supliment and now because of my wife condition I decided to have a side chic who I can marry for the sake of children because it's not easy after 6 years between me and my wife and we are 4 years in marriage, so now as am talking to you my wife and my girl friend are both pregnant same month and from the scan results my wife might likely give birth to twins because two sack was found in her.
AND now I love both of them so much and I don't know what to do now. My girl friend is two weeks pregnant. Am not a bad person but I feel bad hurting my wife but the condition is not easy for both of us that is why I went out for another woman. Does it make any sense to abort my girlfriend pregnancy. Because even if I want to keep both of them it won't be easy for me to have two women pregnant for me at the same time. I wish it's different time I would have allow my girlfriend keep the pregnancy and my girlfriend really loves me ans she said she needs the pregnancy too.
Atleast am doing financially okay because I can feed both if them but how do I handle this kind of situation.
I have been having sleepless night because my wife can nit give me children at that time and now the blessings are here please advise me.
It's won't be easy to keep two women and it's not my thing but what do I know. Guys help me no insult please, if you ask me why can't I be patient the I will say am my mum is old and am the one taking care of my mum. And am 35, years now but if I don't what I did when I grow old who will take care if me? This are the quei asked myself daily before going ahead to impregnated my girl friend. Please advise me
Should my girlfriend abort the pregnancy? This is a blessing from God, please accept both women and let them live apart. Please tell your wife about it, she will definitely dissaponted at your decision but will eventually reason with you, especially now that she has her own children. |
Health › Re: Who Can Help Me Out Of Anxiety Disorder by modernWays: 2:00am On Jul 27, 2023 |
The first step to overcome anxiety is to assume that whatever happening to you is for a good reason. This will give you confidence about uncertainty of life that is always creating fear in you.
The second step is to live for the moment. Stop thinking about your past and future, just live for the present. Develop a pattern of thinking and believe system. Let me give myself as case study, I always believes that no matter what might comes my way in future, I will surely overcome it, so I don't think about them, and it is working for me. This might also work for you. |

Thebadpolitican: Think about you will be a terrible general, that's one ticket to loose the war instead of making friends they are making enemies Don't mind the bitter soul, it means Igbo generally are the same, and they will never change till thy kingdom come. The same mistake Ojukwu made by advancing towards Ore Town south west that made Yoruba generals and Awolowo rise against them by providing tactical formations in defeating them is the same thing this bitter soul is spewing here. In the act of war, you fought off your enemy by defeating them on your soil to become total independent. The moment you carry the way to them, you became a threat to their sovereignty too, and this could possibly escalate the war to the bitter end. |
Politics › Re: AI Simulation Of A War In Nigeria by modernWays: 2:39pm On Jul 26, 2023 |
When will people understand that you can't get political independence without the support of your political elites and leaders.
The day all south east leaders rise up to demand total independence, is the day the process of referendum will start. But unfortunately, the only region in Nigeria that can effortlessly follow that part without shielding blood is SW or NW. |

If this list is true, then nothing good may not come out of this administration. Majority of them will just loot enough money to seek for higher positions in their respective state.
The following ministerial positions would be better off hardling by technocrats: Minister of Education, Finance, foreign affairs, Defence, Sport, Petroleum, and internal affairs/duies. |

You can't dictate to another human how to feel. In fact, it should be encouraged and made law here in Nigeria. I'm sure there are millions of Nigerians who would love to change their sex. Nothing wrong for a man to become a woman? You even suggested Nigeria should made it a law? Are you alright upstairs? |

LesbianBoy: For those that don't know what is happening.
Emefiele is being humiliated because they felt his policy reset the brains of Nigerians to go out and vote their conscience and all the money tilimbu has packed for vote buying and rigging were useless. Now because of that decision, peter obi won the election and has put tilumbu in a tight corner. Now they are trying to bully the judges to do the wrong thing even when the constitution was very clear. It is a pity you guys are still defending this unfortunate being called Emefiele after what he and his boss Buhari subjected masses to before general election. If his boss commanded him to do the wrong thing, why can't he politely resign and go home with honour than dancing to his tone. Besides, you guys should stop the madness, only illiterate will believe Peter Obi won in all core northern states or got 25% requirements there. |

What if he is the one maltreated the wife to the extent that she has no choice but to wish him dead. There is reason for every action we made, a woman can't just wake up and wish her husband dead withiout a vital reason, which are mostly "abuse" from her husband. |

His wife got a job in the UK which pays her about £30,000/ annum. Husband will be going with the wife along with thier 3months old baby as a dependent. How do you think this man can cope nursing thier baby for God knows how long before he gets something doing.
On a second thought he will rather let the wife go while he stays back with the baby in Nigeria managing his business. He's not doing do bad in Nigeria.
My people what's the best option he should take that would favour him and his family?. Why will someone leave her 3 months old baby just because of money. Not that they are doing badly in Nigeria according to this post, why making life too hard for themselves just because of what exactly. |
