If you are going to tackle corruption in the subsidy and wastage and then keep subsidy, fine. Not saying you will tackle corruption and wastage and still remove the subsidy, why not remove it straight away instead of dancing around the issue and creating more waste.
The presenter should've asked him how he intend to tackle the corruption. I am 100% sure he would've gone blank and end up saying nothing.

Imaging someone who want to remove subsidy saying he would consult the same corrupt elements who benefited immensely from the same subsidy. Abi Obi has another people he would consult outside NNPC or National assembly.

If you can't learn from Jonathan attempt and do what Tinubu did, there is no fuc-king way you will remove fuel subsidy in Nigeria. By the time these thieves sponsored different protests and NLC to embark on indefinite strike, no one will tell you to forget the idea.

Rapists are often aggressive and ready to kill to have their way. They simply over power their victims and have their ways. These set of men are not different from common domestic cocks running after the hens. They rape who they have been fantasising about, so getting erection is already in their state of minds.

Nonsense.

The same thing Emefiele said during his screening back then.

Naira is on a free fall forever till it becomes worthless to even the government of the day.

No single foreign entity willing to bring their valued dollar into the economy because your CBN and the presidency would quickly print Naira and mop it up within few days and all back to square 0.

If you like inject $500 billion dollars into the economy of Nigeria, it’d be gone within 3 days because those with control over the useless currency “Naira” would simply print trillions of it and take the valued dollars and keep for themselves.
Let put politic aside, the earlier Africans realise that the major element USA are using to advance their dominants over them and the rest of the world is adoption of their currency for international businesses.

Have you ever ask yourself why would dollar be a major determinant of your local economic prosperity? Have you ever ask yourself why you have to call your currency USELESS against another country currency? Have you ever ask yourself why 1 dollar can't be mutually 1 naira in international transactions? Have you ask yourself why a country cant do businesses purely with Yuan, Rupee, Naira, Cedi, Pound, Euro, etc withiout first converting into dollar?

It looks logical in a simple economic terms, but ideally a core method of total exploitation and modern day slavery or dominance.

The world need to free themselves from evil minded USA for meaningful development to take place in underdeveloped economies. I think that is what BRICS are trying to do now.

Unfortunately, you will never see such thing to happen because the Ex- Mayor of New York has more superior mental capability by nature than our African brothers.

It shows how wicked an African man could be. A typical black man would rather stole all the money meant for development of his people than allowing them to have quality life like him. Blacks are made that way, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. If you are still doubting that blacks are inferior beings by nature, then you are only living in denials.

Quite understand your point, it's human's nature, no one can satisfy them. You can do good to humans 99% of times and get bite if you fail at 100th. You just have to understand this to be a better version of yourself. Mainwhile, like I said before, Rich people too are ungrateful just like poor people. Rich people too don't want the poor to be like them, that is the human nature in this part of the world. I have seen some rich men whose their families are still living in poverty, I have seen alot of big men who don't appreciate those that help them build their wealth. I have see alot of rich men who will rather collect the little from the poor than to give or help them.

My point is that, being good or bad has nothing to do with one financial status. For instance, there were many rich business owners that will never sell their goods or lend people money no matter the circumstances as you did, so you can see that it is more of personality than financial status. Besides, being rich is relative, what you might called a real wealth is chicken change to some people, the list go on and on. And if we are to use the same analogy, a millionaire will see thousanairs as stupid people, while a billionaire will also see millionaires as stupid people.

You are taking this serious and talking out of point..
Rich people compete to make more money.
Whatever you tell me' i know what i'm saying and i'm talking from experience that majority of poor people are very dangerous and want's everybody to be like them. How many poor people arrive without the help of an average well to do man..
Which kind rich people only compete to make money. I have tasted both side in my life, and presently not poor by Nigeria standards. I can categorically tell you the only difference between the poor and the rich is approach used to melted out their wickedness. Unlike the Rich, poor people don't have money to call police or engage lawyers, they don't have money to hire assassins or pay bribes to do the dirty jobs on their behalf, the only thing left for them is to physically show their grievance. I am very sure you will also say poor people are more diabolic than rich people? Lol. Let me give you a few examples, will you call those senators and Reps fighting one another in the assemblies poor people? Is Obaseki and Shuabu poor people? Is APC chieftain who attacked one commissioner in Ondo state poor? Are those big men and elite who had engage in physical fights poor? Have you ever witnessed a serious fight among elites at political partes meeting or conventions before? What will you call those in black communities in US where different kind of social vices and violence are happening? Are they not economically better than average getto man in Nigeria?

If you say poor people are dangerous and want everybody to be like them, do rich people want poor to also be like them? And by your last sentence, if every poor man can't arrive withiout the help of average rich men, then why the gaps between the rich and the poor is so wide in Nigeria like river Niger? The reality is that education and wealth will only make you adopt civil approach to issues and not necessarily erase the evil in you.

You are just a typical Nigerian whose after getting some thousands start looking down on poor people or blaming them for not knowing how to liberate themselves.

I didn't said i'm a rich man, being poor don't give u the right to hate people in every little development that come there.. Being poor doesn't mean you should envy others and take them as threat. Everybody should work on theirselves it's not easy anywhere..
Do you know that Rich people hate others too, especially those they can't manipulate?

Do you know rich people also envy others, especially those above them?

Do you know rich people are threats to poor people too, especially where the poors want to claim their right?

By the way, how do you know they don't work on themselves? If they don't, how do they feed themselves? If they don't, how do some poor people become rich?

It is very easy for us to criticise or look down on others when we are privilege to be above them. Some were born into poverty, tried everything they could but not successful. Will you blame them for living a kind of life they can afford? Will you rather see them killing others or robbed them to get rich?

My point is that, those attitudes you mentioned are not peculiar to poor people alone.

The less privilege are always at the mercy of being subjected to any form of brutalities life can offer, not that they are daft or don't know what they are doing, but because all their efforts were never enough two pull them out of poverty.

Their focus was to hack into IREV and manipulate the results. Obi would've gotten required 25% votes in all Northern states, while Atiku would have done the same for majority votes in the South.

You have all the results signed and submitted by your party agents, you can easily compare it to what inec eventually declared and base your evidences on that, instead you chose to be chasing shadow by pleading with the court to nullify the election and order for a rerun. These people are enemies of Nigeria, and should be put behind bar till they receive thorough rehabilitation. HealthRe: Nigerian Doctors Relocating To Sierra Leone, Gambia To Earn $4,000 Wages, CMDs by modernWays: 4:12pm On Aug 31, 2023
Dozis:
You got it wrong, if the country wants her health care workers to stay let them make working conditions palatable, it is wickedness and appalling that a consultant earns 1000 dollars per month while his counterpart in Gambia earns 4000 dollars, what is slavery again?
Healthcare job is not a charity work, a workman deserves his wages, sometimes government would even reach agreement with healthcare workers and renege on the agreement, hold our irresponsible leader for mismanaging the resources of the country.
People train people so that they can impact positively to the society and also be able to fend for themselves and not to turn them to slaves. You don't appeal to people's consciousness and at the same time make conditions of service so bad that elsewhere becomes more attractive.

I repeat that the money a healthcare workers was trained with is part of what we all own collectively. While you're comparing what it takes to train abroad, try to also compare the wages and employment rate of those countries because even with that high training cost, they still churn out more healthcare workers than us and are also able to poach our own, what do I mean, living conditions and wages are good enough in those countries so that parents can train their children and they have also made students loans available, you can't just mention the amount without mentioning what is obtainable in those climes.

It is not about the average black man because there are black men in those countries you mentioned and they are not leaving their countries to other places. It is our country where there is rudderless government.
You are still saying the same thing over and over again. The question is, what is average cost of obtaining the kind of quality medical training in Gambia that Nigeria doctors received here in Nigeria that made Gambian government to offer such pays? What is the comparative cost of living and earning in Gambia? They are not fools, they know what they are paying for. Besides, if such skill/experience is that cheap to obtain, they would've prefer to train their citizens and pay less(if what they are paying is so far above cost of living).

As regards to "our collective money" you keeps repeating", let me break it down in a lay man understanding, for instance, if government were to subsidise education of each student with 50k, the cost of doing the same for medical students would be 500k each. Government can easily gives the 50k as it was givien to others and allow you to fund your education but they cant, because they knew that 98% of the applicants would not be able to afford it, which may eventually affect quantity of doctors needed in our hospitals. As for the employment opportunities and wages, Nigeria produced too much Doctors on the average, due to the fact that the cost of training are relatively peanut compared to their counterparts abroad. Nigeria too can comfortably pay her consultant $4000 if you are paying the value of your training fees and the masses are also paying the value of health care services. Alot of Nigerians are quick to condemn government but fail to realise that we too have alot to do to fix the system. If you can't appreciate a system that trained you for a peanut because you feel it is our collective money, you don't have moral right to blame our corrupt leaders who might also feel the same and loot (because they spent too to acquire the positions).

Let me cut it short and ask you few questions;

1. If I may ask, why do you think government subsidise medical students training cost with 500k, while others are only entitle to 50k?

2. Why should doctors be paying in dollars, while we spend Naira in Nigeria. Can they spend the naira where they were paying in Dollars?

3. If medical training can be easily funded by everyone in the said developed countries, why do they still need poor trained ones from developing countries?

Note: I am not trying to defend our corrupt leaders, all of us know they are not doing well, my point is that, where is humanity when we keep chasing money. Besides, doctors are not doing badly in Nigeria, it is greed and hunger to live large that made alot of them abandoned their jobs in Nigeria.
Foreign AffairsRe: Rwanda's President Paul Kagame Approves The Retirement Of 924 Military Officials by modernWays: 11:42am On Aug 31, 2023
festacman:
From recent experiences:
- Retiring older generals and promoting younger officers will make the coup happen the faster than stop it. Young enlightened officers are usually revolutionary-minded and have tendencies to take risks to become heroes even when they have no plan for the country.
- Retiring army officers from other tribes and putting officers of your tribe in charge doesn't guarantee that coup won't happen. The head of junta in Guinea was made the head of presidential guard because the ex-president saw him as his brother. Still, he overthrew him to grab power. Ali Bongo was overthrown by his head presidential guard first cousin who shared many corrupt practices with him. So affinity doesn't kill the pursuit of power in men.

So, Paul Kagame should quit seeing himself as messiah and retire to allow Rwanda's democracy to test it self with regular cycles of elections and strengthen. On the other hand, the cabal propping up brain-dead Paul Biya should just call for new elections or watch their backs eternally. The same with Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, Faure Eyedama of Togo, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and his fat head son of Equatorial Guinea and others.

To avoid coup, just do the right thing:
- Hold credible election.
- Obey the constitution on tenure of office.
- Don't steal money from the public treasury but use it to develop the country.
- Do your best , allow the people chose the next president and hand over power.
If you are old enough to had witness military rule, you wont be talking like this. They are far worse than the bad civilian government. They are corrupt and unapologetic 500% than any civilian government. Military government is such a brutal and bad experience that no one should ever pray for.

What you highlighted as solution to avoid military coup are the things they does withiout apologies or questioning.

If a seat tight president is not good, people will revolute no matter how subjugated they are. The revolution should never be done through military coup because they will destroy the country more than they meet it.

Just look at the way you reason.
It was the collective treasury of the nation that was used to train everyone and not anybody's personal money. We are all partakers of whatever resources we find in the nation we were born into, please don't give me that crap.
The money belongs to all of us, so no special favour was done to anyone, that anybody was elected to be in custody of what we collective own doesn't make the person the owner, just a custodian.
Most of the politicians were also trained in Nigerian universities, so going by your reasoning, they should equally be earning peanuts because the country trained them.
We notice that of healthcare because it is a critical sector, what of non health care workers trained in Nigerian universities that have left too?
My parents trained me in university, maybe I should just go and be serving them instead of looking for a way to better my life.
It is collective money but not collective good to use the same skill giving to you by the same society to improve or help her? Why don't you compare the cost of training and cost of living of the countries they are running to before you start blaming the government of low pay? The last time I cheack, an average doctor earn more than any civil servant, and they are well above middle class. Patients are dying in numbers everyday in our various hospitals due to lack of skilled or adequate doctors but these heartless greedy few don't see their services as important to the society that subsidise their training? To answer your question, other sectors are not so critical to the society or received the same advantage giving to this sector. Government don't spend that much on them compare to medical departments. If you go to university, you will understand this. Anyone can chose or change profession anytime at will but can't be a medical doctor over the night.

Medical sector is very crucial to the society, you don't compare it to other sectors. That is why It never cheap to acquire this certificate anywhere in the world because they know the value attached to it. If Nigeria are to follow the same ethnic practice as it being done abroad, 98% of these doctors will never be one today. How many of them can afford to pay up to $38k or #34m per year as international student in UK and American universities. Even their nationals pays roughly around $9k or 8m per year. You can see why medical training are highly subsidise by government to enable us to have adequate doctors in our hospitals.

The reality is that, an average black man is too individualistic by nature, he lacks foresight, wicked, egocentric and greedy.

If you're a healthcare professional in this country, run for your dear life. It's not worth it. Those employed by government are living in penury while those employed in private sectors earn rubbish and work as slaves.
Will you also advise them to run for medical training in abroad you are much cherished? Some of you people will get trained with less than 1m in our public universities, only to take the same certificate to work in another countries. These selfish beings will never compare the cost of training with another countries, they will only keep crying on the payment as if they are not earn above all civil servants in Nigeria.

If the cost of training is cheaper, the cost of rendering the service must not be expect to be too high. Government considered you to be Nigerians first before they subsidise your training, it only logical for you to be of help or useful to the same country that trained you.

It is high time Government enact a law that will banish Doctors trained in public universities from relocating in their first 10 years of service.
