Good for himself, how do he expect his people to vote for him again when they see your blood son representing another country in the game of football.

Very unpatriotic leader.

Racoon:
You guys always wants to sound clever by half. How come this man’s whose name was forwarded by his party to INEC will suddenly be said not to have emerged via a party primary?

Same INEC that did a lots of iberiberism to smuggle Godswill Akpabio, Dave Umahi and Ahmed Lawan despite the gross violations of the Electoral Act regulations?
Are you blind or just simply daft to see the governor himself suing everyone including his party because of the same issue?

If someone had took those you mentioned to court, they would've probably been disqualified as well. But these big boys know how to buy their ways. Those that suppose to take them to court must have been taking care of., so stop blaming INEC or Judiciary.

I think all of them plays draw in our group, so they still have chance to start afresh.

PoliticsRe: What Peter Obi Would Have Done Differently To Change Nigeria by modernWays: 7:02am On Nov 17, 2023
@op, you are not Obi, neither you are his spoke person, so how do you know what he would've done differently?

Leadership results is not what you pre-determine before you assume office, there are alot of circumstances or factors that could hinder your plan and force you to take another route you would not have Ordinarily follow.

From my person research, which I think 99% of his followers cannot use their time to do, Obi is not a good leader Nigeria needed at this junction. He is a smart corrupt man and selfish hypocrite who care not about others but only himself.
PoliticsRe: Obi To APC: Responsible Governance Means To Disclose What You Inherited by modernWays: 11:56am On Nov 16, 2023
Angelfrost:
Let's not distract or derail from the topic... He and his party are not leading the nation. What they do within themselves has nothing to do with the country.

Now, can you mention any advanced nation or progressive entity devoid of transparency in government?!!

An average South African can tell you in detail what the nation owns in assets and liabilities, and what most of their elected leaders are currently worth financially...!

Can you do the same for your national leaders and government coffers?!!

Many of you don't even know what your state generates, borrows, and spends yearly... That is not normal.
Same way they know about Jacob Zuma and others abi?

Agreed we need to demand more transparencies from our leaders but please don't use any God forsaking Africa country as example. Many of their leaders including formal presidents were once facing corruption charges, yet you think they are any better. Development you see in South Africa today was a result of large population of Europeans settlement. Blacks are the same greedy humans all over the world.
PoliticsRe: Obi To APC: Responsible Governance Means To Disclose What You Inherited by modernWays: 11:45am On Nov 16, 2023
Can he disclose what he inherited from pathetic administration headed by Buhari if he is in the same shoe with Tinubu? The highest any intelligent person can do is to silently probe whoever involves and not stupidly discrediting your own party.

I hate it, when some people think they are smart to deceive the gullibility of others. No sain Nigerian or politician can disclose dirty secrets he/she inherited from former administration that belong to his/her party. Can he do the same? Or he think everyone is just silly like him to set themself up for cheap political praise.

Here is 200 naira tomatoes. I purposely had to branch at those mama selling tomatoes this evening and had to take a shoot, bought one from here. Image attached. Mind you it's not in the North. It's one of the top state where cost of living is high. A plate was 200 naira. And it's more compared to the photo that OP showed us
Exactly, no where in Nigeria that the traders will share that small portion of tomatoes for #700. Some of them are only on Nairaland to discredit the current administration. We all know things has gone south, but let find a common ground to provide a solution rather than misinform the general public about what is not exist.

PoliticsRe: APC Hell-bent On One Party State: Atiku Canvasses Merger Of Political Parties by modernWays: 6:12am On Nov 15, 2023
SoNature:
APC can be defeated if we had an independent election umpire cheesy

We need multiple parties in Nigeria.

All interests should be on how to fix our electoral umpire.
In your myopic mind, you think people don't vote for them massively during elections? Some of you guys know nothing about politics.

What make a political to be formidable is often their structure, in which other parties do not have. APC has almost 20 governors, more than half of National assembly members in both state and federal levels, yet some of you would be saying inec is working for them. There might be some irregularities in every election , which is synonymous to every election in the world but trust me, APC has majority who can mobilizer people with money and other incentives.

Atiku is right here but Tinubu is not like the others before him, he won't be watching PDP to form alliance with strong smaller parties, Tinubu I know must have sealed agreements with majority of them with appointments and promise immediately he assumed office.

I need a lady that want to go into contract marriage with me for some years. The aim is to have children but if along the line we realized that we are compatible enough to spend the rest of our lives together in love, then so be it.

I also need advice on this from people who are into it.
It sounds logical to you now until you approach 70yrs, that is when you know the important of good wife of your youth in your life. Children belong to both parents, likewise the responsibility. If you don't want a wife, find an eggs donor and surrogate thing to have children of your own. You can employ someone to nurture them for you, no problem.

What you wrote up there is nonsense, please delete it if you don't pray the same for your unborn daughters.

This could be true, there is no way for PDP with their structure in the state to pull only 47k votes out of over 700k votes. Something is not right somewhere, that dude scammed pdp governors big time.

With this, PDP is officially dead. If they know what is good for them, they should quickly form alliance and create another party.

PoliticsRe: A Closer Look At The Six Geopolitical Zones On Nigeria Map by modernWays: 4:59am On Nov 13, 2023
@op, this is how you would've created another problem if giving the opportunity to be in charge of true federalism.

The current 6 geo- political zones should be left untouch, any attempt to bring different ethnic groups together again will only amount to what we are currently facing.

Let people of the same kind, ideology, tradition, lineage and cultural background tailor the affairs of their people. That is the only way you can achieve tremendous development. Every developed country is usually homogeneous society where at least 90% of them will have same background and speak same language.

Same with Aregbesola. A good politician don't insult the personality of his opponents, even if he/she does, it shouldn't be like mocking their conditions.

Very irrational set of politicians.

PoliticsRe: This Is The Type Of Revolution That Will Change Nigeria Forever by modernWays: 9:23am On Nov 12, 2023
1. Divide the country into regions.

2. Let each region control its resource and pay taxes to Federal government to maintain army and international policy.

3. There should be no president but parliament which will comprises 60 members( 10 from each of 6 regions).

4. Each region should have total control of its economy including international trade withiout the input of parliament.

5. Each region should be giving a competitive advantage. E.g, you can't produce in larger extent or exports what others has competitive advantage.

These are what the country needed, not one silly violence revolution that would later enrich the pioneers.

This guy know how to buy his way more than anyone else from South South Region. The fact that he worked against PDP, and they could not remove him should tell a smart person how powerful he is.

Hated by Obidients on Internet? Real voters are not on Internet, the earlier you guys know that, the better for you all.

You should also learn that, alot of people will only tell you what you want to hear but deep inside them, they know who to vote for. Besides, alot of people within a state are directly or indirectly benefiting from governor, so do you expect the families, friends and associates of these people to vote other party candidates?

So men that sleep with prostitutes likes them now, they like them because prostitutes are your spec so much that they willingly pay for the sèx, but since you admit per the bolded that you men are incapable of self control, that your mind dictates what you do, it means you are cheap, you can sleep with woman even mad women, hence my first comment.
Perhaps you did not understand my post very well or just trying to be smart with your reply. That men are incapable of resisting the kind of women they like to sleep with, doesn't mean they will sleep with anything that comes their ways.

Sex is thing of the mind, if your mind is not there, there is no way your pe.nis will move even if she go naked in front of you. And contrary to your submission, men only pick prostitutes they like or suit their specs. You don't just go to any stand and pick just any girl in the name of sex.

Having said "men are incapable of resisting sex from women they truly wanted", but there is exception to this where the consequences is far outweighs the benefits. Example : mad women, your sisters or relatives, marries women( to some), your mother, minors, etc.

Wole Soyinka, the unofficial spokesman to APC and bola Tinubu, the man that started cultism in Nigerian universities in 1977 that not only killed but continues to kill thousands of youths in our universities. He never condemns bad leadership from corrupt elites but always quick to condemn the youths for reacting to bad leadership which had denied them the basic things their peers in other countries are enjoying
You can always criticise government constructively but not the way you guys are doing it irrationally.

You can't be this silly and expect grandpa who should be looking up to us for update to respect us. Our generation is brilliant, but lack wisdom on subject matter that could positively change our lives.

You guys don't know how you portray yourselves when you always try to push blame on women to justify your diick mongering, you're indirectly saying most of you are dumb and incapable of making sane decisions for yourselves when it comes to sèx, what key do you mean exactly? Key that locks part of your brain from sexual control? Must you diick any available hole? If you say no to sèx will you die? So if a woman offers you sèx, you must have sèx with her abi....smh.
The earlier you understand that a full grown healthy man is incapable of resisting sex from a woman that fit his spec, the better for you. It is thing of the mind, men too hardly sleep with who they don't want or like. If you offer a man sex, and he quickly grap the opportunity, just know he actually like you or probably being fantasising about it with you.

If the said lady in this story don't have what he wanted or like in a woman, he wouldn't have allow her to sleep in his room, let alone coming under his duvet or have sex with her.

Since a man is expected to take care of his wife and children in this part of the world, it is only logical for every female to marry at least who can comfortably provide basic things for the family.

Don't insult the girl, just don't get marry when you are broke because no matter how you try to explain, society will frown at you the moment you can't provide for your family.

Simi Fubara please learn how to wike and his remnants. A word for the wise is enough.
The only power you have in a democratic system of government is "majority". No matter how powerful you are, if majority of power brokers are not on your side, you are as good as dead. A smart politician don't fight Godfathers if majority of power brokers are not on his side

If 24 out of 32 members of state house of assembly are not on his side, it tells how terribly he might fall if he continue fighting with them. Besides, it is too early to fight a Godfather that singlehandedly installed him as governor. The best bet for him is to make peace with them at least for now because with influence Wike had at both federal level and PDP, he will surely lose the second term ticket.

He should be happy that it is with a lousy person like Wike, if it is Tinubu, he would just be watching him and denies him of second term ticket, just like the way they did to Ambode. Oshiomole did the same to Obaseki, if not for PDP that rescued him, he would not have gotten the second term.
PoliticsRe: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz Visits Yoruba Cultural Centre In Lagos by modernWays: 2:51pm On Oct 31, 2023
aQUINandmore:
As someone from Edo, I find myself drawn to the Yoruba culture of Nigeria. It's not just a fascination; it's a deep appreciation and love that I hold for what I consider to be the most beautiful culture in Africa. It might seem unusual for me to have such an affinity for a culture outside of my own, but there's something truly special about the Yoruba heritage that captivates my heart.

The Yoruba culture is a tapestry of history, a masterpiece of traditions that have withstood the test of time. It's like a living museum of Africa's past, present, and future. I can't help but be entranced by its richness and depth.

What stands out most is the way Yoruba culture weaves together a complex fabric of language, spirituality, art, and community. The Yoruba language is like a dance, with its melodious flow and expressive words that seem to carry stories within each syllable. It's a language that can paint a picture with its very pronunciation.

Their spiritual beliefs are equally captivating. The Yoruba pantheon of gods, the Orisha, is a fascinating blend of mythology and reverence. The intricate rituals, divinations, and ceremonies that honor these deities are nothing short of mesmerizing. I admire the profound connection they maintain with their ancestors, believing that the spirits continue to guide and protect them.

Yoruba artistry is a realm of wonder. The Adire and Aso-oke textiles are not merely fabrics; they are works of art. Each pattern and motif tells a story, preserving their history and heritage in threads. The intricate beadwork, the stunning masks, and the sculptures are a testament to the incredible talent and creativity of the Yoruba people.

Music and dance are like the heartbeats of the Yoruba culture. The talking drums, the rhythms of Sango, and the energy of Ogun's dance, all come together to create a unique and exhilarating symphony. Their festivals, like the Eyo and Osun, are a spectacle of color and joy, a testament to the celebratory spirit that runs through their veins.

What's most striking is the strong sense of community and family in the Yoruba culture. I, from Edo, can't help but appreciate the way they embrace one another, the warmth in their interactions, and the strength of their bonds. They place great importance on names, known as "Oruko," and I admire how they cherish their ancestors and carry their legacies forward through generations.

It's worth noting that my love for Yoruba culture does not diminish my love for my own Edo heritage. Rather, it serves as a testament to the beauty of diversity in Nigeria. We are a tapestry of cultures, each offering something unique and beautiful. The Yoruba culture, in all its magnificence, adds vibrancy to the mosaic of our nation.

So, as someone from Edo with a deep admiration for the Yoruba culture, I can't help but celebrate their traditions and their profound impact on Nigeria and Africa as a whole. The Yoruba culture, with its language, spirituality, art, and sense of community, is a treasure that enriches us all.
I love this pieces to the core, well articulated and sincere.

May gods of our ancestors bless and enrich your knowledge.
