Wow. Truly massive.

Fulani knows the jig is up.
This is what's ruffling their feathers and making them send their foot soldiers to cause mayhem in the south.
Please stop merging the South West and South East, we are not one

May his soul rest in peace.
This man is great man, not because he's a pastor, but because he has a dream and makes sure it comes true. From grass to grace, from wretched to wealth.
He couldn't speak English when he started, he became a good English speaker.
This guy is our Mark zuckerberg, Elon musk but he was unfortunate to be born in Africa, and the only means he thinks he could make it is through evangelism, and because during his youth days, we do not have internet like this.

He's a Hero because he made his dreams come true.
I wish Nigerians could learn from this guy, not to follow his footsteps but to understand if you have a dream, you can make it come true

musicwriter:
My sister, follow whatever is your passion because even if you make less money in photography, you'll be happy. Believe it or not, even if you make more money in the proposed food stuff business but you'll always feel like missing something if you're really passionate about photography.

There was a time I had a lot of money but I wasn't happy. Had 4 cars but I would leave them and just trek instead and everybody would be asking me "where is your car?" Nobody knew that life didn't just make sense to me anymore at that point. What I was rather interested, though, was to know why the African continent is underdeveloped and why we Africans are in the way and condition we're today. The answer to that question was all that mattered to me. I was so much lost in thought about that question up to the point of thinking myself to comma. The day I discovered the answer to that question in 2012 and as soon as I discovered it, I became instantly happy again till the point of running mad out of happiness. Even as I have less money now but my happiness has been restored.

Of course, I am assuming you'll choose happiness over money. Ultimately, it's your choice really.

Hope this helps someone out there.
I'm looking for people with like minds to connect with, with what you have written, I can see we have similar interest, though mine is in putting a solution in African youths underdevelopment. I have already sorted what the problem is. If you don't mind, can we connect?

Akintundexxy:
On this forum particularly, I've seen people being discouraged outrightly against studying medicine, especially those who are already in higher institutions but wish to change to MBBS or those who have been writing utme for years.

Honestly, the medical doctors I see around me are well to do..like they have high financial buoyancy.

If everyone learns programming or coding, who would need the service anymore?
It's better to secure a realistic future than live in the realm of assumption.
*My opinion*
I know more broke programmers

and I have never had any problem with igbos
You are yet to meet real Igbos, many of them are bitter, angry. I think they have a mental health problem, maybe narcissm, I'm not sure. They are unnecessarily wild especially to people of other regions.
They are the most tribalistic in Nigeria, followed by their Fulanis and Hausa herdsmen friends

I recently moved to the Island and I have been quite busy, with my work, it's so difficult to meet and make new friends, because no one wants to be the first to go meet the other person. Some might think, "If I walk up to him//her, I might get embarrassed, I decided to create a whatsapp group where we can meet one another, discuss intelligently and possibly hangout

You never can tell where you meet that great friend. People with different ideas who are willing to share why could benefit your life. No one is an island on the island, remember

Meeting people could be really fun especially when u keep an open mind but please be security conscious.

If you stay on the island and you will like to meet intelligent people to have great discussion with, relating to business and growth, chat me on whatsapp 070.17.84.85.34
Or drop your whatsapp number to get added to the group.
We are going to make the group highly secured, so keep off if you do not stay on the island

Don't frawn at the english
Right from childhood ,I am always bother about what people will say about me. When I hear someone speaking against me, I feel down especially when I hear those I never thought would speak against me. I cared so much about what people would say about me ,that I started trying to please everybody. I would all out and do my best for others but if I make one mistake inside a hundred things, people would speak against me. So I decided to turn myself to an introvert, still people still talk about me
The people's words that pain me the most are those I thought are my close friends. I wouldn't have known they do gossip against me until one day or two where u will coincidentally hear them speaking against you.

Who have experience this, please share how you deal with the pain of people who you never thought would speak against you, spoke against you.
I usually get depressed when someone I trust do these things.
Please help with your advise
My dear,it's normal for people to talk against you, especially friends. That's why you are an African, and trust me 90% of people experience that's as well.
People are bad, and there's nothing you can do about it, you cannot control their behavior
no matter what you do to please them.

You should stop focusing on what people think or will think and just do you. Behave the way you like, laugh about them, don't trust anyone, but be good to everyone.

The comments I read here sometimes make me wonder what Nairaland has become.
It makes me wonder if we have just teenagers left on nairaland or they are plainly dumb

Most of the comments is either filled with unnecessary praises where some are wishing to marry the lady, some are even saying, beauty with brain, as if na through hardwork she was able to achieve that, meanwhile the other comments are so full of hatred and unnecessary bigot words.

If anyone in Nigeria today is able to become a pilot at age 18, then it's because she's from a very wealthy family, which means the money meant for the masses has been stolen by her parents to give her the best life ever why millions of Nigerians are meant to attend the quack public school system provided by the government. Or you think she's part of those children in the Nigerian public school without roof
Ordinary admission to many of these flying schools alone is only through connection, infact, admission to normal Nigerian universities can be easily gotten through connections.
If this girl is from the North, then you should know she's from one of the richest of the richest, or you think she's from one of the IDP camps in Borno? And schooled in the rotten school system where children doesn't even understand go/come?
Or you think she learnt how to fly plane by watching YouTube videos? Or you think she got admitted to the school when they found out she scored higher than her peers in a public primary school
Stop worshipping your oppressors, please

Until children of nobody can become somebody in Nigeria, stop attributing the success of these politicians and their children to hardwork, because they would achieve NOTHING, if they are subjected to thesame thing children of nobody is subjected to

PoliticsRe: Sanwo-Olu: Parents Of Children Convicted Of Cultism Will Be Punished by ModestGal(f): 7:48am On May 28, 2021
Calitoscassius:
Total rubbish! Ignorant mentality. My parents "train" me very well as you put it, but it didn't stop me from becoming a cultist and a criminal. grin you are stupeed!

I am the cultist not my parents. I can bet my ass you have not children or child.
You don't know the meaning of good parental upbringing. No matter what you are,it is the fault of your parents

Your personality/behaviour is determined by two factors, environment and genetics.
Parents provide both environment and genetics for you. Training a child goes beyond telling the child what to do and what not to do, it goes beyond disciplining a child.
Have you seen people coming back to Nigeria just because they want to raise thier children well? They are trying to train the child in the right environment, because it really matters in what a child becomes

Have you seen parents researching schools and the type of children going into the school? Thats trying to put the child in the right environment to grow

Genetics can also prone people to become a cultist, that has to do with what you inherited mentally from your parents. We often inherent emotions, the way we perceive the world etc.
We all have our default logic, that we inherited, that's why we have two twins, where one is extremely gentle and calm and the other a complete opposite, even though they are trained by thesame parents.
It is the duty of parents to be self aware of their mental health,so that they know what they will transfer their children, as well as study their childrens mentally, so they know how to best train them.
In Nigeria, what they think good parenting is, is shouting and screaming "don't join bad gangs', taking children to church, beating children, they do not care about the root causes of anti social behaviours, which many atoms deeper than what is seen on the surface. Sometimes,it's not because a child join bad gangs, that's why no matter how some children are told not to, they still do. Meanwhile, some will never join bad gangs even if no one tells them.

How many parents care if thier children has low self esteem?, low confidence, easily influenced etc

Parenting is WORk, but 90% of Nigerians see if as fun, and give birth like dogs.
If they start punishing parents, people will start understanding they have a job to do, and we will have many people that would lock up their sexual organs, so we can live in a saner climate
