It's a huge embarrassment to Nig, and international communities are expecting them to do the needful by conducting referendum to avoid been compelled to do that by UN, because that would be more disgraceful.

If you see any Ipob member, just respect him because they are fighting a lot of battle you won't understand.
Any person writing long epistle just for status quo remain, maybe because the person is benefiting from government should be seen as wicked devil who's selfish without considering the feelings of the Majority that want to opt out.

No one can feign ignorance of all you've highlighted but you see, when I made that post I was strictly talking about the issues of tribalism, ethnicity fueled by politicians to achieve their goals. All the issues relating to the many October 1 deadline. It is true that social injustice is the bedrock of our problems but we can't fight social injustice if we're at war. Social injustice exists in every society, even in the most developed nations. Its the reason why a black man is arrested while his white friends are let go for over speeding in New York.
I'm sure you know about the Rwandan genocide and how it all began. The same is gradually brewing on these shores and when it becomes a full blown tribal feud, social injustice will matter no more. We need to be at peace to address the deep rooted challenge that is social injustice.

In as much as I agree with you on the emboldened, treating the symptoms rather than the ailment is counter productive. Peace purchased by the discomfort/blood of oppressed few to the advantage and full protection of certain sacred region can never stand the test of time. Reason being mass enlightenment and unbridled availability/unearthing of hidden information wrt such injustices. All thanks to information age.!

I have kept quiet over this Biafra vs North issue hoping it will fizzle out without degenerating to a bigger problem, at this juncture it's time to speak out.

Let all parties sheate their swords,. This is not looking good. The 1966 progrom could be blamed majorly on the North, but if anything happens this time, the narrative will be that the Igbos started it, there are evidences all over the Internet to justify this assertion.

There is nothing wrong in agitating for a separate nation but doing so with hate speeches is totally uncalled for. Let's stop all these hate speeches now before it's too late.
