Good day colleagues.
If anyone denies the struggles of getting internship placements in Nigeria, the person has denied the existence of oxygen.

The truth remains that things still work in Nigeria only if it concerns the elites and the highly connected. Abuja Airport runway repair was slated 6 weeks and it was delivered in less than 6 weeks because it affects them.

Internship struggle remains our problem and they don't see it theirs.
The only message they listen to is pressure. We are too scattered to be able to assemble for protests but we are close enough to stage a powerful media campaign.
Atleast 5000 medical graduates from physiotherapy, pharmacy, medicine and surgery, Dentistry, nursing, radiography, optometry, dental therapy, dental technology and MLS are currently at home waiting for internship. Some have spent 2, 3 and even 4 years for this Ultimate search.

If it doesn't affect you, it affects your friends, your classmates and your colleagues.
We should all come out enmasse to stage the campaign all from the convenience of your phones from your homes.

We hope to make it very coordinated and efficient so that it can reach the right audience.
Our targets are:
- The president
- The vice president
- The Senate President
- Minister of Health
- media platforms eg Vanguard, the nation, guardian, Linda ikeji, etc
- all the licensing boards
- all the senators ( I will source their contacts)

We will do these with the social media. Twitter @MegonNgr, Facebook Facebook.com/MedicalGraduatesNgr, channels eye witness, and if possible print media. Kindly follow the twitter handle and like the Facebook page.

We are the ones to either make it a failure or a success. But I beg us to make it a success.
We would use the umbrella name MEDICAL GRADUATES OF NIGERIA (MEGON).
Social Media accounts will be created.
There will be representatives from every department in every school. Their roles will be to ensure that our campaign is taken to their various class forums like class Whatsapp page. They are to mobilize people join in tweeting and posting of our campaign.
We would use the harsh tag #PostMedicalGraduatesForInternship.

If any of us has links to social media warlords please let's convince them to join us.

The media campaign will kickoff by 6pm. We shall continue tweeting and posting messages until they get to hear us.
We shall source for the numbers of our Senators and continue flooding them with messages until we are heard.
