I do not support embarrassing her in such manner. Having said that, I think condemning her outfit would have been appropriate. Some of you keep saying people should nind their business, mind your business, mind your business, and we will have our ladies walking around nude. We will have our young men sagging their trousers like idiots. This whole mind your business is making people do stupid stuff. Even in the U.S and U.K, such dressing is frowned upon. But a lot of people who have never left their street thinks this is normal in the U.S, no its not. 2 Likes |

There are a lot of people in the hospital today who are facing life threatening diseases and they supported Peter Obi. 85 Likes 9 Shares

Yorubas are everywhere at the top, but very quiet with their achievements. I am an international recruiter/HR manager, and I have been using calendly for years. In 2018, I was like let me check the owner of this company. Guess what, he is Yoruba, and he is very quiet. Calendly is worth $3billion, yet the owner is not online bragging or showing off. Trust me, the Yorubas are certainly a different breed, and yeaa, the most sophisticated. 75 Likes 15 Shares |

Nigerians never stops o amaze me. Every time a story of Dangote refinery comes up, I see a lot of people complaining. Some go as far as saying the refinery is a scam. First and foremost, there is no businessman who doesn't want to make money from his investment. Dangote wants to make money, and he has invested billions into this project, and he will do anything to make sure it succeeds. Like every other businesses, there are going to be hiccups and delays and other issues before it fully kicks off. This is not a fast food restaurant project. Engineering and mechanical projects of this magnitude will certainly face challenges before fully operational. Why are people calling this project scam?? Like really?? Dangote wants to make money and he certainly will. I think you guyz should focus on your own life and projects cause Dangote will succeed with this. 13 Likes 1 Share |

FireUpNow: Far better, sentiments aside. An average Nigerian battles with more challenges than they do. This includes water, electricity, bad roads, bad schools, lack of basic amenities, lack of opportunities, high food prices, the lists is long. Give an average hard working black South African a visiting to the U.S, Canada or U.K, he is highly likely to return back to South Africa after a week or two. Give an average Nigerian the same opportunity, and he is not coming back any moment soon. 3 Likes |

FireUpNow: You probably have never been to South Africa. An average black South African lives well, and enjoys. Might not be a millionaire, but they live a good live. There are so many white South Africans begging on the streets and at traffic stops. You have so many white South Africans working at the parking lots in malls and you see black South Africans giving them R5 and changes. There are extremely wealthy black South Africans and there are extreme wealthy white South Africans. Same way you have poor black South Africans, you also have poor white South Africans. An average black South African eats in on of the biggest fast food outlets at least 3 times a week (not the healthiest option), wears some of the biggest clothing brands in the world, has a ok car, has a ok house, has medical aid, has life cover that pays his family up to R1.5million (60 million naira) if he dies, enjoys basic amenities and has the opportunity to enjoy world class amenities and facilities. They have access to good bursary for education, they have access to business loans, home loans, they have access to some of the best Universities in the world, I mean South African universities. Almost every little town has a good sporting facility and sport centers, and parks where people go for fun. They have access to some of the biggest malls in the world. Most black South Africans are not moved by the United States or Canada or the United Kingdom because they have seen it all. From sky scrappers to food to designers to malls, winters cars, houses, just name it. The list is endless.... They are not rich, but they are doing well. 5 Likes 1 Share |

In as much as I haven't been to Nigeria in over 9 years, I can comfortably tell you that this is a global problem. I have been to several countries in the last few months, and there has been a massive inflation. This is not a Nigerian problem, it is a global problem. The level of inflation in South Africa, Canada, the United States, and Australia is mind blowing. Don't get me started on the flight tickets. It was never this high, and I can tell you it is at an all time high. To be honest, the world is upside down. You walk into a grocery store with $200 budget, and you're asking yourself what the hell is going on in here. Its just crazy. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Lets say a barrel of oil is $80, The UAE makes $320,000,000 per day for 10million people. Nigeria makes $120,000,000 per day for over 200million people. With that massive population, Nigeria aint that rich after all. Nigeria needs to diversify its economy. 1 Like |

Generally, B.sc with Honors is considered higher than just B.sc. Here is why, I have a Bachelor's degree in xxxxx, with honors in Business management. My certificate says B.sc xxxxx, Honors in Business. Therefore, I studied in two different faculties/departments to have a Bachelor's degree in one department and honors in business from another department. In some countries like South Africa, you cannot do your masters degree until you complete a one year honors. 2 Likes |

headboyprince: Apparently you lack comprehension. The point I made was, some glorified American universities did not make the list. I totally understand that you lack comprehension. Also, where did I blame the United States?? What I said was, Nigeria is on 1,164 position based on the circumstances surrounding it. To whom much is given, much is expected. Nigeria has tried based on the fundings it received. University of San Diego and University of North Florida made it to 1990+, despite University of San Diego charging as much as $30,000+ for tuition fee, and you think University of Ibadan hasn't tried. You know nothing boy. You went ahead and gave some dumb and ridiculous comparisons. I wasn't comparing, I was stating fact. By the way, I am done with you.....enjoy. |

headboyprince: You're simply emotional and irrational. I haven't been in Nigeria in the last 9 years, and I did my M.sc in the United States. I certainly would love people to trave the world. America has over 3,000 universities and colleges, and yes, they didn't make the list. Your level of comprehension is quite low to understand the point I made. Let me help you nitwit. Nigeria is budgeting about $500million on 14 federal universities. University of Cambridge alone gets a budget of £2.308 billion. How can you compete with that? That means the likes of University of Ibadan is funded with $35million compared to £2.308 billion budgeted for University of Cambridge. How can you compete with such institutions? They have the resources to hire the best brains, build the best equipments, build world class laboratories and test centres. They have the resources to build world class facilities and projects. They cam embark on any projects or research because they have the funding. Despite all the shortcomings of Nigerian universities, they were still able to get something. That I believe is a step in the right direction. You want to get a Ferrari result with a picanto. Get some brains boy. You must be a nitwit. Now run along little child and play with your toys. 2 Likes |

Some nicompoop are already complaining up there. You know why Nigeria has been stagnant? Because we don't celebrate the small wins then aspire from there. 20,000 universities were ranked from all countries around the world. Nigeria made it ti the list of 2,000 globally ranked universities and made it to 1,164, yet someone up there who probably doesn't even have a high school certificate is complaining. Imagine Nigerian universities receiving the necessary support and funding, I am sure they will make it to to first 200. Despite the strikes, underfunding, lack of equipments and resources, they still made the list. So many American, Canadian, and British universities didn't make the list. I think they have done well considering the circumstances. 47 Likes 5 Shares |

When Nigerians talk about their politicians, I start wondering if the politicians are from another country, or if the politicians are some kind of different humans. In as much as the leaders of the country are dumb, I can say its a reflection of the society. I was in a country few days ago, and I heard the story of a young Nigerian who we had to assist. A Nigerian collected 1.2 million Naira from this young mans old mother for a visa that cost less than 60,000 naira. His mother had to sell all she had because they promised the youbg man a job. Guess what, there was no job. Now he is stranded and we had to help. Some of those castigating the leaders are worse than the devil. I have stopped taking Nigerians serious. Of course, we have some good heads, but I can say a large percent of the population will perform worse if given the opportunity. 8 Likes 1 Share |
