Everything I say is my opinion not yours and vice versa
Good aspiration but reality for those who have experience of marriage is there is nothing like choosing wisely because it is only after marriage that you will see the real person

.

My parents chose wisely, my grandparents did, my great grand parents did. I will chose wisely by Gods grace.

Bye

I am talking about a person changing
If you have ever been married you will know tha people change in marriage and many things will be hidden,
There is no wisdom to unveil many things that women hide ,
The topic is about marriage . What is "getting married"

I have decided to chose wisely. My father, grand father have also advised same.

I Mofe will chose wisely by Gods grace. You can chose whichever way you want.

Goodbye.

You are the one missing the point .
I believe we are talking about marriage on this thread not dating?

My point is women change after marriage and that change is not a function of your wisdom

I am not talking about a person changing. Even kids change. Humans change. My point is, when you notice something before marriage, try to correct it pull out.

By the way, the topic is about getting married and not marriage. Won't you date before marrying.....

And for the record, I spoke about my opinion and experience. I will choose wisely.

Take care.

What I am saying is no matter how wise you think you are women change after marriage. This is true for men too to be fair
There is really no wisdom to predict what people will become after marriage. So whether it turns out how you want may be more down to serendipity than to insight or wisdom.
Therefore the advice to choose wisely is mission impossible. No human being is that wise, some people are just lucky.

You keep missing a very simple point. This is very simple, when you notice something you can't cope with, kindly work on it or withdraw.

Yes, it can be hard to find a good person, but since I started dating, I have never been with a money hungry lady, thats because I choose wisely. Every lady I have been with has been wonderful, unfortunately, somethings did not work out.

I have chosen wisely in every country I have been and I have never had a reason to cry.

Like i said earlier, men, choose wisely.
Shalom.

Lol una like to Dey twist topic just to have a say.. the bolded is exactly what the op is talking about ..

U don’t have to be millionaire but u need to be financially capable of providing basic things..

Everything is not money I agree, but no marriage will work in this 21st century without money ..
It might work when there’ are no kids yet , but when they start coming , bro you’re on a long thing .

And your partner must be working and contributing too .. make bills no go kill u before your time
Note : I’m not married but 80% of divorces ive seen have something to do with money ..

If you can't comprehend, please don't ever quote me ignorantly. Shalom.

those who have never seen war are often very brave

According to the bible ( I am not saying it is true or not) Peter denied Jesus 3 times in one night.
Did Jesus not choose wisely?

What are you saying
My point is simple. If you're with someone who is demanding and you don't have much, what are you suppose to do??

You have a woman who has never supported you. You're the only one spending in the relationship, yet you still want to marry such person. How will that person support your dreams and the family

Choose wisely and don't say you won't know until you choose.

Even the extremely wealthy are divorcing. Know your woman and work with her with what you have. What you think might be financially stable might be totally unstable for some women.

Even if you earn cool and live comfortably, some women will call you a pauper. Whereas, even when you don't have much, some women will stand by you till there is a change.

Some women will help you up the ladder, some will pull you down with your finances.

Choose wisely.

No, I think nobody takes SERAP serious.

That's exactly what happens when you file over 80 cases each year. Even the court clerk don tire to process their files.

Nobody takes them seriously because the thief in Aso Rock is an idiot who doesn't obey the rule of law. No matter what, if it was a system that works, he should honour the invitation.

Just 80 cases a year and that can't be processed?? What a fucking failed nation. Jacob Zuma had over 700 cases against him alone.

Jacob Zuma of South Africa has been in and out of court, as a matter of fact, his corruption cases forced him to resign as the President and he was just sentenced to jail recently.

That's a country. Not this rubbish where everyone in government is bigger than the constitution and the rule of law.

Fucking retards ruling a great nation, supported by imbeciles and greater idiots.

Some of you fail to reason. Trust me, the same Yorubas are the only reason the Northerners haven't crushed everyone.

Back to the point. It took the effort of a Yoruba man (Obasanjo) for Jonathan to become president. It was during the second term campaign that he insulted Obasanjo thinking he and his cronies can win without Obasanjo.

It took the effort of a Yoruba man (Tinubu) for Buhari to become President after several failed efforts.

The Yorubas are political gladiators as far as Nigeria is concerned. All this insult on them is inconsequential because they have been behind both the North and South. Jonathan himself said he ought to have listened and followed Obasanjos instructions.

Obasanjo fought through thick and thin for Jonathan to become president. I remember Obasanjo saying, its a do or die affairs for Jonathan to become president. Eventually, Jonathan disappointed Obasanjo. Even Yar Adua wouldn't have been president if not for Obasanjo.

You can insult the Yorubas as much as you want, however, they have proven time and time again that, they are powerful and can decide the fate of the next President of the country.

The question now is, how do the people get what they want?? (disintegration)

MESSI started dribbling right from 5 years.

Ronaldo started dribbling from the womb. Go and watch Ronaldo when he was younger. You're so ignorant mehn..... Damn.

Ronaldo started at Andorinha at age 7.

By the way, football is not all about dribbling. Most legends don't dribble again after certain age due to knee problems. You reduce your shots and speed.

Ronaldo scored 31 goals last season with 6 being penalties, Messi 30 with 3 being penalties. Why the fuss.

Just donot understand their beef with a 36 year old. Expecting him to be running around like a teenager after almost two decades in the game. How many 36 year olds get to make tournaments thoughtless of delivering results.

Ronaldo simply plays the game these days for the records, period. Everything else he has proven beyond doubt. The Portugal team needs him more as a talisman and inspiration because he has seen it all and done it all, absolutely unfazed by anything.

No team, club or country will not wish to have him play for them even for five minutes. Like it or not. Without him in that team, France will have been bolder to play better last night and will have overrun Portugal. Everyone that plays against him will have doubts abd exercise caution.

I couldn't have said it better. His presence brings fear to the defence line and defence midfield. Take him out and watch Kante and Pogba move to striking positions.
They want a 36 year old player run like a 10 year old.

Why won't MESSI miss penalties when CR7 trains vigorously for Penalties.
A player that has outlived his relevance in the scheme of play but very wise to steal penalties from teammates who win the penalties.
CR7 has no option but to score penalties so as to keep his fame evergreen.
Without penalties he is useless.
It was proven today.
What has he really contributed in the last games?
Ask SANCHES....

Lol, don't kill yourself with heart attack oooo. Ronaldo scored 31 goals last season with 6 penalties. Messi scored 30 with 3 penalties. Stop exaggerating.

You made mention of Sanchez 23 year old with a 36 year old man. You're ignorant. Take a trip to Ronaldo at 23 and stop the hating.

Listen
After Ronaldo won the FA Cup in his first season, he helped United win three successive Premier League titles, the Champions League, and the FIFA Club World Cup; at age 23, he won his first Ballon d'Or.

Out of his 1st 700 Goals, CR7 has scored 500 penalties.
What a Feat!

139 penalties out of over 784 goals, that means Ronaldo goals that are penalties stands at 17.%

Messi has scored about 100 penalties scored out of over 745 goals. That is about 13% penalties. Stop exaggerating, Messi has lost more penalties than any other player....

You're full of shit. If it's just to educate and not indoctrinate, why aren't Nigerians open to teaching hinduism in schools?

This lady is neither Christian or Muslim where exactly is she supposed to take her kid to? Are you dense?

My point still stands, you cannot escape religion in Nigeria.

Schools in Germany and the US don't pray in Jesus name, you liar for Christ. And it is of no basis for comparison to Nigeria and other places in Africa as students have the option to opt out of religious prayers.

Are kids in Nigeria allowed to do the same?

You're the ignorant and myopic one..and disingenuous too. Hypocrite.

Oh really? How many of you Christian hypocrites will be okay with Islamic studies or classes on hinduism? You won't sit there and call it 'education' so FOH with that hypocrisy.

I thought you bid me a goodbye?

I think you're a kid. Let me educate you on something.

Private schools in Lagos owned by Christians pray in Jesus name. Schools owned by Muslims pray in Allahs name.

I attended a Catholic high school in lagos, 30% of my classmates were Muslims. The school had a policy. All students must attend mass service twice every week. There were Muslim owned schools, however, because their parents values education, they enrolled their kids. My Muslim classmates attended Mass too. During Salah, we went to thier place to celebrate with them.

You have a shallow and myopic mind. Schools in the United States, South Africa, Ghana, Germany all pray in Jesus name. If you're not okay with that, enrol your child in a Muslim owned school. In China, I do not expect them to use Christianity on their assembly ground since they have their own religion. If you're not okay with that, enrol your child elsewhere.

Praying at assemblies is another form of religious indoctrination and you know it.

If she isn't cool with religious assignments, you think she'll be cool with prayers at assemblies?

Dolt!

Read what this guy posted and cure your ignorance...... Damn.

"Doing religious studies doesn’t mean you are being indoctrinated with a certain belief.

What CRS taught me that year was reconciliation, forgiveness, fortitude, charity and tolerance. I think these virtues exist in other religions as well... in Islam, in the Odu Ifá. The purpose of education is to expose us to that which we do not know, to help us have an understanding or enlightenment and make us more accepting... and those that cannot listen to others or to the contrary are not yet educated and that is why I think that Mrs Adetutu's concern should be listened to as well.

However, having listened, I cannot commend her activism, as it lacks premises or reason... but even the absence of such premises or reason shouldn't be the basis of disrespecting another's view. While I think her request should be respected, I hope she allows herself to be informed of the likely consequences of her action which sadly it is her child suffering. Such consequence includes but is not limited to the insight the little girl would be losing but also the opportunities that such knowledge or evidence of such knowledge affords. The little girl however may be made to take an hybrid civil & moral education class to lessen the lack or withdrawn from the school altogether and taken to that which suits the backward, retarding and hindering definition of education that Mrs Adetutu has"

For Buharis Administration, todays protest shows he is a demon that most die.

Under Jonathan, there were several massive protest. I remember watching the one at Ojota or so. Tinubu was there, Idris, so many celebrities and politicians, yet Jonathan never ordered for them to be shot.

Buhari and Buruntai or is it Burantashi must face International court for the deaths of protesters.
