thebosstrevor1:Most people buying a smart tv in South Africa needs it to be able to connect to the Internet. There are fibre Internet in S.A. Moreover, its cheaper for so many folks to connect to their Internet and enjoy showmax, Netflix, hulu, etc, rather than subscribing to dstv. Dstv isn't a big deal in S.A, everyone wants to connect their tv to the Internet. Selling those tvs cash is also very difficult in S.A. People in S.A often buy electronics, and pay back in installments, like paying back R300/month. Most people are not ready to cough out R8, 000 rand for a tv cash. |
Hahjascho:An ideal cyber security professional most possess knowledge in system architectures, system administration, operating systems, networking, virtualization software, and other major components of IT systems. A comprehensive understanding of systems architecture allows you to have a big picture view to see where possible vulnerabilities lie, and how to potentially protect all access points from attacks. The CompTIA Security+ certification tests for this broad range of knowledge, but having the certification doesn’t verify your ability to apply the knowledge. You should have an understanding of configuration and management of firewalls, network load balancers, network routers and switches, and network architectures. Networking and virtualization technologies are critical for how businesses operate. With the advent of cloud computing, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), accessed through web browsers, demands an intricate understanding of security on this level. |
TheRareGem1:Obj does perfectly. |
Ovo200:No, but I know the basis, and how to have a solid background. My job requires me to have some knowledge. |
Hahjascho:Its very lucrative honestly. Very very lucrative, however, try to know networking before proceeding (network from scratch to advanced implementation) That will help you greatly. The journey to Cyber-security is tough, boring and technical. You have to love it to finish the courses. |
Hassanmaye:As long as you have a degree, you can build whatever career you want on it. See your degree as a dough for making pizza. The basis to making any pizza is the dough, once you have the dough, then you can have any flavour and type of pizza you want on it. Having a bachelors in Economics is great, going into CS or I.T from there gives you an edge. Please, in whatever certification you choose, please stick to one and be a monster in it. Don't try to know everything at once. Once you pick one, stick to it and perfect it. Then you can start playing with others. |
DenreleDave:Hey zeez, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, I don't recruit for Nigerian firms, as I am not based in 9ja for now. However, will let you know should an opening pop up. |
I have been recruiting for several organisations, especially American companies. But I will tell you for free, all mu clients are demanding at least a bachelors degree to be able to work in the United States. Even if you have 8years experience in any of the I.T sectors, you're automatically screened out if you don't have a degree. I am presently recruiting for Backend Developer, U.S based only, and a bachelors degree is a most. You can study for cyber security, while also doing a part-time degree. But trust me, nobody wants to hire someone without B.sc anymore, except handy man jobs. Don't let anyone deceive you, 97% of American companies now require a bachelors degree for I.T jobs, I am not talking of freelance jobs, I mean permanent staff positions. Mind you, Cyber security requires certifications, this certifications are quite expensive. I am a recruiter, and I am speaking from experience. P.S, I am not based in Nigeria. Shallom |
ezenwajosh:Lebron, Jordan, Shak O'Neil, Drogba, Jackson, Dangote.... There are millions of black people doing great all over the world. Also, some of the shits other races do, will make you thank God not to belong there. Know who you are. |
Horrible and devastating. At the end of the day, we are all bunch of immigrants looking for a better place. Some moved to America years ago, killed the aborigines and took over, some went to Canada, killed the owners and took thier land. Some went to Australia and did same. I just wish Africa will get her shit together. |
I remember when obasanjo ordered that British Airways shouldn't make the attempt to fly Nigerias airspace or land in Nigeria. It was so hard on the British government that they were all over the place trying to resolve the issue. A look at Nigeria from 1999 to date shows so much of collapse....... Horrible. |
What is Igbo Jews ![]() LoL The closest African Jews are thr Ethiopians. There are so many Ethiopians in Isreal who are born Jews, and who their Ancestral homes have been Israel/Isreali Jews. You will find so many of this Ethiopian Jews in the Israeli Army. But guess what, they are hated and have been denied citizenship. As a matter of fact, they are being evicted from Isreal. STOP THINKING THE ISRAELIS CARE ABOUT ANY BLACK MAN. NO THEY DON'T GIVE A Bleep. There is absolutely nothing like Igbo jews, absolutely non. |
Jacknn:I think that has been removed, but you can check the Germany student page. |
Liftkid:Canada is quite complicated at the moment. Getting in is harder due to Covid restrictions, the processing is quite tedious and longer, same with Australia. Germany is your best bet for now. Another option is to try the more peaceful African countries that offer a better quality of life. Get their residency then catapult from their to Canada, Australia or Germany. Please, go legally, and get your residency legally. |
Liftkid:Okay. During your own research, what country did you show interest in? |
In whatever you do, please don't pay any Agent. I beg you. Now, what do you do? Can you work remotely? How old are you? |
This has become a regular thing in Nigeria. What baffles me is the fact that women/mothers are the ones who fully understands the pains, stress, discomfort and agony of giving birth. Same women/mothers are the ones who treats kids so badly. Still baffles me how...... |
This team lacks the ability to take Three-point field goals, and are also lackadaisical with field goals too. They always want to be directly in front of the backboard before attempting to net. The french side are leading mainly because of their ability to take three point field goals. |
I will rather follow a man who wants genuine freedom, than t follow a slave who doesn't realise he is a slave...... |
Iyiataata92:In a bid to be stupid, you still dragged 95% of Nigerians into your stupidity. Nigeria first participated in the Olympics in 1952, and won her first medal in Tokyo in 1964. For your information, Nigerians have been going to the Olympics even under the terrifying military regimes, and they returned back to Nigeria. Stop dragging 95% of Nigerians into your stupid thoughts. Every time you folks read something bad about other countries or citizens of other countries, the first thing that comes to your mind is to drag 200 million Nigerians into that shit. STOP THAT SHIT NIGGA... |
Lol.... But Chiellini really tried that day. An old dog doing great. That shows England wasn't tactical enough. Chiellini has gone through several surgeries, he has lost his flexibility, speed, swiftness etc, yet, a young, fast, agile English team couldn't make him eat the grass. |
Coastal cities are prone to flooding. If this had happened in lagos Island, some unfortunate illiterates would be convulsing by now. Yes lagos state and Nigeria needs to work on its drainage system. However, that will not necessarily stop flooding if the rain pours hard. |
okeyumez:Type "heralding the emergence of world changer Oyedepo on YouTube, after watching it, you will know better. Shalom |
abhosts:As in, I did know so many illiterates abound on this forum. Imagine the comparison. The question is, how many people earns the 50m in Nigeria?? |
seborrhic:You are bro, I am quite surprised so many illiterates abound on this forum. $5,000/month salary in the U.S is good pay, except in places like cali, NY, LA. |
opalu:Your analysis are perfectly skewed. Why did you pick that property?? To buttress your point?? I don't know which U.S some of you are referring to. $100,000 per annum is a lot of money in the U.S. A whole lot of money. Breaking it down to Pennslyvania and North Carolina where I am very conversant with. Tax will be around 30,000 Your take home pay is $70,000 Mortgage for the year lets say $1,500 x 12 = $18,000 You are left with $50,000. Trust me, you can't feed with more than 12000 for the year except you're a glutton pro max. As long as you pay tax, primary to college is totally free until university. Tell me how $30-35,000 savings is not cool

Penalties are tough deciders. You can blame Saka, Sancho and Rashford all you want, but remember, one of the best penalty taker in the competition, Jorginho, lost his own penalty. That shows that penalties are so unpredictable. Even some of the Italian's penalties were also poor but they were lucky to score. Its football, but I am happy Italy won, didn't like how Sterling dived in the Semis. |
onuman:Emerson is white?? Hmmmm. Was it not same black players that helped England get to the final.... |
It started from having luxurious houses, then luxurious Yatch, then private jets, now space....... What next ![]() |
May Pastor Dare's soul rest in peace. When papa Adeboye lost his son, how many of them went to pay condolence ![]() Biko, let these old men rest, they might have put a call across to the wive. INRI keeps talking, was he at the burial himself?? In this life, we all can be in the same industry, group, company, ministry, etc and not be close one bit. If they had attended the burial, ya all will say its hypocrisy, why should they attend when they were never close. Now they maintained their distance and you guys want to drag them in. Never try to please people. |
I need to talk to your parents, most importantly your mum. Talking to you might not yield any results because you sound like you ate eforiro with shaki, roundabout, brokoto... Etc |
I read someone say its better than South Africa....lol I have seen Nigerian barbers making R20,000/month in South Africa, that is about 600,000. I have also see Nigerian uber drivers raking R30,000/month, of cause, some months are lower. They will push this OP to the fire and leave him stranded. OP, go and check the place first before you lose all your life savings. Its better to go to a place with 100,000 naira, lose it and return after your feasibility study shows its likely not to work, than to lose all your savings. All this people advising you today, why haven't they spoken about how good Gambia is all this while?? Be wise my friend. |
