randymirrors:That's so true. HR is an art tangled in sales, customer service and people management. It is a very sensitive industry. As an HR personnel or recruiter, you are the face, brand and culture of a company a prospective employee will first encounter. |
BennyDGreat:Even in the U.S, we have some horrible recruiters. They are everywhere. However, they can be reported and someone is likely to join the job market if reported. I do. Unfortunately, my recruiting projects have been in the U.S, Europe and South Africa. In the last nine months, I have been working on a role in South Africa (recruiting and team building) for a U.S based company. It was so sad because I couldn't bring the opportunity to Nigeria due to several factors. The salary is around 1million/month (sales executives). Its really difficult convincing any client about hiring from Nigeria. Quite sad. |
Opeyemic01:Thank you. |
Opeyemic01:All my recruiting projects have been in the U.S and Europe, the only countries I do in Africa are South Africa and Mauritius. Regardless, send me your email. I will send you an email where to send your resume. Whenever there is an opening for fully remote role, then I will let you know. |
Don't confuse a recruiter, a hiring manager and a random manager as the recruiter. I own a recruiting and staffing company, and I totally understand the frustration of some candidates. We recruiters have a specialized training and industry standards on questions to ask and not to ask a candidate. I am not based in Nigeria, and every country I have recruited from have a standard. Some of the questions I have read here shows that those people are not trained recruiters. They are probably just some random managers that the company assigned the interview duties to. If you ask some of these questions in certain companies or countries, you will be fired. Those are terrible and highly unethical. Whenever I do the first phase of interview with the candidate, I submit their names to the hiring company including an executive summary. Then the company does their own interview. However, I am always present at the interview (virtually). If you ask my candidate a stupid and ridiculous questions, or a question that is sensitive and unethical. I will dive in and ask that you either rephrase the question or end the interview. I will let the hiring company know why the question was wrong and if they can't find someone else to do the interview, then its a goodbye. I have collected my upfront fee. The loss is on them. I will not let anyone disrespect or ridicule my candidate. If you ridicule them in an interview, then you will certainly ridicule them when they start working. The last thing I want to ever have, is for my candidate to call me that they are been subjected to any form of abuse at their work place. If you treat candidate with disrespect, then certainly, your company's culture stinks. |
Why remove Enzo? what is the point leaving kante, tiago and havertz out ![]() Lampard cannot win Real Madrid, he should have used is available best squad in all matches. |
RamseyKush:Thats not streaming farm. The comments will let you know if its a farm. That video has about 10,000 comments. That does not sound like farming. |
internationalman:The difference is that Chelsea have trophies to show for it. Almost every Manager who came to Chelsea gave Chelsea a trophy. Same can't be said for Tottenham. |
Dshocker:You probably don't know what Nigerians are up to in South Africa. I can tell you that the last person a South African police will frame is a Nigerian, because they know we would fight for our own. That guy is the killer. |
SmartyPants:Bro, it is horrible. How can you leave your country to get a better life, only to make life worse for your host. You're selling drugs to kids, robbing, killing, stealing their Social security number to get loans or to receive your stolen money. Its a lot of crimes. Can you believe South Africa used to give Nigerian students a lot of funds during their masters degree or ph.d program while studying in South Africa? The fund is to cover their expenses while studying. Guess what, our people get this funds and run to other countries. Our people collect loans from South African banks and run away. The crimes are just too much, and its mainly from a particular tribe in Nigeria. Its crazy. |
When I see Nigerians blame South Africans on this forum, I laugh at their ignorance. I have traveled the length and breadth of South Africa and I can tell you that South Africans are one of the kindest people in the world. Of course, they have their crazy people like every other country. Trust me, Nigerians in South Africa, mostly our Igbo brothers are the cause of the resentment South Africans melt on Nigerians. South Africans are very trusting and open. Guess what, our brothers used this against them. If you think South Africans are bad, go to South Africa and see the evils perpetuated by our brothers in that country. |
JaceBlaze:That's so true. Eish buthi, Zimbabweans are something else. I use Uber alot when in SA, and I do have a lot of conversations with the drivers. We have a great rapport regardless of nationality. One funny thing is, whenever I try to use uber from certain locations, even when its not red zone, the drivers call me to be sure I am not Zimbabwean or Mozambican. Oftentimes, the driver himself is Zimbabwean. They are scared of hijacking. |
JaceBlaze:Lol.... You're right though. I pray for healing in SA. Southie can be sweet men. But the illegals, especially the criminals are also making life difficult for the legal ones who are into genuine businesses. |
Juleeee:Illiterate... |
She is right, but she could have addressed it professionally and with other government stakeholders. If you haven't travelled the length and breath of South Africa, then keep quiet. Every sector and facilities in South Africa has been stretched by foreigners, mostly Zimbabweans. How can you be a citizen of a country and cannot even enjoy anything because someone feels entitled to it. South Africa is beautiful, fun and developed to a great extent. However, illegal immigrants are making life harder for the citizens. |
Whobedatte:Go and watch it again. That guy slipped. Did you see any Tottenham player protest? Even the player did not protest cause clearly, he slipped. |
This referee has always been controversial. The foul on Havertz was supposed to be reviewed. The pulling of Cucurellas hair should have been a freekick. |
Am not a Manchester United fan, but why would any sane coach have Eriksen play defensive midfield...... The problem is from the midfield, of cause, the defence is an apology. Move Eriksen to attack and have Fred back to defensive midfield. |
Joetttimua1811:You're right brother. I understand your point, they ought to have worked on this by now. I haven't been to Nigeria in the last eight years. However, before Nigeria can start making remarkable progress, one of the first things she has to do is to stop party cross carpeting. Once you pick a political party, you can never cross to another one. That will be the only thing that will help shape the country. I am looking at some of the present Ministers and Top government officials, and I can tell you that they are all coming from different political parties. Its the same group of criminals, but working for different gangs. Yes, the government must put an end to all these horrible strikes. But everytime I check the faces of those who should, I know they have robbed my house before, because I can recognise their faces. When PDP or LP wins, they move there again, and the cycle continues. |
tctrills:You're still missing the point. The current government, either at Federal, State or Local level is being represented by Politicians who are from any of the political parties. Different parties are ruling different states, yet, no state in the country can be said to be doing extremely great, regardless of the party. In other words, Nigerian politicians are like energy drinks. Different brands, same purpose. Some of PDP politicians under Jonathan are now in APC, some PDP politicians are now in LP and vice versa. Nothing has changed, the only thing that changed is where they steal from. |

There have always been these strikes for as long as I can remember...... This is not about APC or PDP. This is a Nigerian problem. The earlier y'all know this the better. The politicians are all recycled. Someone in APC yesterday have moved to PDP today. Someone who slept in PDP yesterday is now in LP. If you think the strike is a political party thing, then you better wake up. |
Seems the rule changes in every match these days. The rule states that once the ball come off an opponents, it doesn't have to be intentional, and there are several goals that have been counted that looks similar to these. |
If you're not going for any competition, then you have the best summer body. Dont let this illiterates tell you otherwise. You look superb nigga. |
NATO part of the border, not Russias border. Now, let Putin do his worse. |
BabalawoPikin:That explains why I said you need to go to school. My first message about her achievement should have given you a clue about a presence at the international level. The moment you included portable in the conversation........ That was it. Anyways, enjoy the rest of your day. |
BabalawoPikin:I don't argue with stack illiterates. Drake is not as popular in Canada like the U.S, but he is Canadian. To condemn Angelique shows you know nothing about music. You even mentioned portable..... Lol. Go to school niqqa. |
BabalawoPikin:Are you serious or joking ![]() That woman has won more international awards and African awards more than Wizkid, Dbanj, Fela, Davido, Burna Boy etc, put together. A four time grammy winner is the one you are comparing with Wizkid. We are talking of pure authentic singers, you are talking of these boys that keeps saying "yeye yeeeeaa" On September 15, 2021, Time included her in their list of the 100 most influential people in the world. In 2010, the BBC Focus on Africa magazine included Kidjo in its list of the African continent's 50 most iconic figures, based on reader votes. in 2020 she was on the list of the BBC's 100 Women announced on 23 November 2020. In 2011, The Guardian listed her as one of its Top 100 Women in art, film, music and fashion Kidjo is the first woman to be listed among "The 40 Most Powerful Celebrities in Africa" by Forbes magazine. The Daily Telegraph in London described her as "The undisputed queen of African music" during the 2012 Olympic Games River of Music Festival. In March 2013, National Public Radio (NPR) in America, called her "Africa's greatest living diva". Kidjo is listed among the "2014 Most Influential Africans" by New African magazine and Jeune Afrique. She has been nominated 12 times for Grammy and she won 4 of it. She is music personified. Comparing her with Wizkid is like comparing the Aston Martin DBX to a Toyota Camry. Haba. |
blasterman:Oh so it was only UEFA they dropped it.... |
Mosopzy23:FIFA has stopped the away goal rule. |
jeffoe:FIFA has stopped the away goal rule. |
DSoj:I agree with you to some extent. Will used to be a classy guy. Very well composed, intelligent, nice, accepting, charming, playful and amazing. But for some time now, dude has been acting weird and horrible. I think he needs to find his happiness. I don't think that woman was for him. That woman seems to have broken him completely. |
