GEJ didn't make our elections transparent only for an extremist to rig his way to power. The DSS are watching INEC closely, any attempt to falsify the results would be vigorously defended.

Your comment gave you away as a man that have no empathy for vulnerable members in a family, the way your President have abandoned hapless Nigerians to their fate.
You should vent your anger at the instigator of the carnage. As long as some elements of the Nigerian army sees this as religious war, there's very little the govt can do. America and NATO couldn't defeat the Taliban because the Taliban enjoys local support.
As for other forms of crimes, its the duty of the police to fight crime, try reading the constitution.

Don't know of the hunger aspect. But I believe people were not as hungry then as now. Also, people never went to bed angry at the Government under Buhari, unless the corrupt ones or people who were affected by the imprisonment of some of their corrupt closed ones. People were not also angry at the Government then because they could sleep with their two eyes closed, unlike now.....................
Bros ask your parents the chaos that was 1985, people wouldn't have thronged the streets when he was overthrown would they? If he did all this in his last stint, you'd expect old people to favour Buhari in this dispensation. Only net warriors and street urchins have Buhari as preferred candidate.

He waited nearly a week to condemn his supporters in 2011, after 800 lives were lost, the senile Buhari lives in denial.

Governor Aliyu Disassociates Self From Buhari’s Poster

January 11, 2015 Premium Times

Governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu of Niger state
Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State on Sunday disassociated himself from the poster circulating on social media linking him with the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement, Mr. Aliyu’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebije Israel, stated that the poster, which depicted Messrs Aliyu and Buhari together, were fake.

He attributed it to the antics of desperate politicians, who are out to mislead the electorate and cause friction in the state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

The poster trending on the social media has the picture of Mr. Aliyu, as PDP senatorial candidate together with Mr. Buhari, the APC presidential candidate.

Politics › It’s True MEND Wanted Jonathan Dead – Asari-dokubo by Mogidi(op): 6:23am On Jan 12, 2015
Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteers Force(NDPVF), Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, formerly known as Melford Dokubo Goodhead Jr., has earned a reputation as a man who has, arguably, made some controversial pronouncements over the 2015 general elections.

In this interview, he spoke on the claim by President Goodluck Jonathan that Mr. Henry Okah attempted to kill him, his alleged threat to overrun Yoruba and other issues.Excerpts:

https://sunnewsonline.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Asari-dokubo-2.jpg
What is your reaction to the recent endorsement of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari by MEND?

Our people say that birds of the same feather flock together. It is not strange that this phantom organisation is endorsing Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. I have always maintained that there is nothing like MEND. Anybody who has been reading my write-ups and interviews know my position on this. Let me make some explanation, regarding the coming into being of MEND.

When I was in the prison, NDPVF, the the political arm of organisation I belong to, went to Okerenkuku on the invitation of Tompolo. The IYC also went. Tompolo’s organisation was there too. Other organisations were equally there. They went to Okerenkuku for a meeting on how to come together for our struggle. They decided that they did not want any more arrest. They resolved to use a faceless organisation. Denis Otuaro came with Kingston Poto and later Henry Okah came to me at Kuje prison.

They came to get my opinion on the need to get a name that would be used. Although members of the NDPVF resisted the new alignment, I coerced them into joining them. Okah and others wanted us to be faceless. They decided that fighters would bear phantom names. So, they came up with names, like Gen. Godswill, Tamino, Gbomo Jomo, Alaibe, etc. These were phantom names. They were not real. That was how the organisation, MEND, was formed. Before I came out of prison, there was a break when Henry Okah became more domineering. He was extorting money from oil companies. Almost all the governors in the Niger Delta were paying him millions. A former of Rivers State governor was paying him N100 million monthly.

Why some look for depressing stories about Nigeria, the rest of the world are celebrating Nigeria being largest economy in Africa.
Africa’s new Number One

HEY PRESTO: as if by magic, Nigeria has declared itself the biggest economy in Africa. Overnight, with the wave of a statistical wand, it has added 89% to its GDP, now worth $510 billion, and soared past the previous leader, South Africa, worth $370 billion. Nothing has changed in Nigeria’s real economy, except the way it is measured. Yet the magic matters.

The GDP revision is not mere trickery. It provides a truer picture of Nigeria’s size by giving due weight to the bits of the economy, such as telecoms, banking and the Nollywood film industry, that have been growing fast in recent years (see article). Other countries perform similar statistical magic—Ghana, for example, added 60% to its economy in 2010—though few wait two decades, as Nigeria inexcusably did, to update the national accounts. In Nigeria’s case, the new numbers confirm that it really is the colossus of the continent.

Punch has become very desperate, they're leaving no stoned unturned as they sought to market a failed product. Below is what El-Rufai (Buhari's most ardent supporter) said in the past about GMB

Buhari is unelectable says El-Rufai
Mallam El-Rufai wishes to remind General Buhari that he has remained perpetually unelectable because his record as military head of state, and afterwards, is a warning that many Nigerians have wisely heeded. His insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus are already well-known. In 1984, Buhari allowed 53 suitcases belonging to his ADC’s father to enter Nigeria unchecked at a time the country was exchanging old currency for new.

The Department for State Security Services (DSS) on Wednesday

The APC was also said to have clandestinely registered under aged voters,
