~Oh wow @ Elvina Ibru {Tare} been in the industry for a while, here's hoping she chooses more scripts . . would really love to see her in more movies!!

~I've watched "Most Wanted Bachelor" Beats me why they keep changing the names of the other parts to the movie . .

~I like Mona Lisa & Ini but sometimes Ini's dress code is a tard slutty & i very much doubt if thats got anything to do w/ the character she's playing . .

~Another movie to go under the hammer . . . "Endless Tears " seemed promising when it started but then it slides through the long & winding road to "Tears In Marriage" the part 3 & 4 angry angry

~Synopsis: Married couple fighting the odds of life . . survival . . the lengths a man will go to hold down a job & family!

~The storyline was borderline okay but such a drag to watch . . . my hand was holding the remote through out the movie . . " fast fwd . . play . . fast fwd

~Am defo going to finish watching "Letters to a Stranger" this weekeend . . its a Fred Amata film,he did "Sex,Lies & Marriage" wasnt too bad . . his storylines are very Impressive tho,so different from the usual boy meet girl usual storylines & i've notice he starred in his movies too!! Didnt you just love Jenny's friend in the movie ? i want to see more of her . .

~Now another movie to stay well away from Is . . . "Forest Of Promises" Aargh angry if there was eva a time when i'D wanted to punch the actors/actress this was it!!

Synopsis: A police woman transferring convicts to a jail cell falls into an ambush, succumbs to falling in love & fighting for that love . . .

~Part 1 was a complete waste of time,i fast fwd most of it,the supposedly action packed gun firing noise didnt do it for me . . . .neither was the police woman running in her socks when the heels to her knee length high boots broke grin

TV/Movies › Re: Tough Love - The Naija Movie Critique Thread (Only Naija Movies) by mohawkchic(f): 11:51pm On Sep 19, 2008
~I'D second "Letters to a stranger" got me intrigued even tho am yet to finish watching it . . lurving the cast too . .

~The movies to go under the hammer ar too many on my list!! My ma. buys tons of Niaja movies . . . .after she finish watching them, she mails them to me . . i keep telling her she can open her very own rent store cheesy i've got three cases of Cd pack full of Niaja movies to watch . . so i think i'll start w/ these movies as i'D forgotten half the names of the ones i've watched!! anywho first to go under the hammer is "Boys Cot" angry

Synopsis: Life as a scammer . . .Three friends who got caught up in Yahoo Yahoo,419 scam,Love traingle, test of friendship

~As if making part 1 & 2 wasnt enough, they had to stretch it & do "Return of Boys Cot" part 1 & 2 . . a continuation of "Boys Cot" Only for the obvious to happen!! The one-liners were the highlight of the movie for me,other than that,it sucks!!

~If i were to choose movies that's left me impressed, there are only a few i'D name "Widow" "Dangerous Sisters" stuck . . . am hoping for better movies to be made!!

Fashion › Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Fake Nails/acrylic Nails? by mohawkchic(f): 11:18pm On Sep 19, 2008
~I only find false nails/Acrylic nails done to look like the witches potrayed in Niaja movies tacky!! . . . Expensive they can be if done on a regular basic coupled with refills/removal/special designs . . . its worth every penny for me tho grin If you fancy having them done, you shud . . put to rest if its something you like or not . . .

~I lurv nuffin more than having acrylic nails on . . . some 11 yrs ago,i got to experience the worse case scenario of having acrylic on . . . while bouncing a basekball,my thumb nail snapped into two . . in the middle . . .most excruciating pain eva!! i'll spare you guys the details cry Didnt stop me from having acrylic done tho,i was just more cautious when i have em on . . . neverthe less over the years, there was barely a time when i let my nails breathe . . . i hated doing refills,I've this thing in my mind it's obvious where the nail was filled tongue Not to talk of soaking up my fingers to get the acrylic off,so when am ready for a new set,i clip the nail off, then use the tip of the iron nail file to take off the nail on top of mine from end to end . . doesnt hurt cry when done properly . . . been doing it so long am a pro now grin Down side is having very weak nails with chips from all that filing sad

~For almost six years now however i only have em on as a treat!! . . . Annually on my birthday/wedding anniversary,my son's birthday & those on-off moments when i feel like getting dolled up for a weekend/night out or just for the heck of it!!I enjoy grooming my natural nails . . . using nail mender, cuticle oil, painting em various colours grin

~A full set here in London depending what area you're located ranges from £10/20/23

Don't know if you guys know this, but this is very effective in getting rid of blackheads and for healthy looking skin in general.
Step 1: Get some boiling water in a bowl.
Step 2: Put your face over the water such that you feel the steam on your face.
Step 3: Do step 2 until your face looks like your sweating
Step 4: Scrub your face gently with a towel. Pay special attention to areas with blackheads
Step 5: Run some cold water over your face
~Yeah am aware & totally agree w/ you kiss here's another tip to add to between step 1 & 2 . . .

*If You put a towel over your head, your face steams up a lot faster . .Needless to saying . . . be very careful tho,it is after all boiling hot water!! You'll find this Works wonders on your face!!

*Be warned tho . . . the heat can be overbearing on your face & neck sooo if you feel your face working up buckets of sweat grin you've had enough!!

~I use a face theraphy steamer i got as a christmas gift some years ago, same proceedure & results, only difference is i plug it in,& the water heats/bubbles up to the level i put it on,so i control the heat to my face!!
