modskiller: about the Digital Phone/Photo, I don't understand what you mean by that. But for SOP, it is to explain/sell your self to that VO and convince that same VO. LOE from my best knowledge can also be used in place of SOP giving details to all your intentions et al and I also think they use the LOE to explain the connection between you and sponsor sometime especially when you're not directly related. #IMO. Abeg ask more people in the house. I'm not so certain about it. Thanks. I meant to say photo! its a typo. Thanks |

lastpage: Chai, Igbo man and MONEY! That early "morning"...... you have already 'tuned' to money...and nothing else!
BTW: I dont consider as "intelligent", people who make assertions.... after the FACT! You gambled.... you LOST! Simple!!
When l hear our Igbo brothers all turn to "revisionist" over night, l just laugh! Stop this "self adulation" because it makes you not to reflect deeply..... on your mistakes, which you keep repeating in every Political dispensation.... with the same "FUTILE RESULTS"!
When Yorubas produce the next President, which is very Certain, then you will know who are the "lap-dogs" and who are the "Dogs"!
Lastpage! Oh! That's a typo. But seriously that's the beauty of democracy. Every region cannot all vote Buhari, they voted for GEJ and they have reasons for voting him. And as for SW producing the next president, lets wait and see. No insults please. Try to respect people's opinion. |

“Today, we Africans are all proud of Nigeria and President Jonathan. Thank you Mr President. If you are seeking a legacy, you have definitely achieved it.
African Businessman and founder Mo Ibrahim Foundation, Mr. Mo Ibrahim has lauded the peaceful presidential election in Nigeria. His words: ”The news from Nigeria today is wonderful. Africa’s largest country has concluded a peaceful election process. Furthermore, the incumbent has already gracefully conceded and congratulated his successor – a first for Nigeria and a benchmark for other African countries to follow. “Today, we Africans are all proud of Nigeria and President Jonathan. Thank you Mr President. If you are seeking a legacy, you have definitely achieved it.”

That's the beautiful of democracy and you need to credit GEJ for the peaceful conduct of this elections. I think from now on we should stop hate and let's move the country forward. GEJ has playe his own part by ensuring successful conduct and accepting defeat even before the final results were announced. |

49cents: One beautiful thing about the igbos is that they aren't waiting for government to deliver them, they get things fixed for themselves
if the igbos were so useless why did the Nigerians fight so hard to keep them in Nigeria? honestly it baffles me!!!!!!!
Going back to recent history
Check out the 1993 elections , igbos voted en masse for abiola even though an ugbo man was the running mate of the NRC candidate, Tofa
what is sad is that Abiola was denied his mandate by a Northerner, IBB, incarcerated by another northerner, Abacha (and Buhari served under abacha)
when Abacha died on his way to self-succession, they , the Northerners assasinated MKO
i didnt want to re open this wound to bring bad blood but to educate u on some very recent political history
Igbos generally abhor injustice, we simply felt power should rotate round the regions fairly
the north had it for 20 years at stretch from 1979 to 1999, not counting the preceding years
anyways its all in the past
what is paramount is we get a better economy and prosperity for Nigerians
just wanted to put things in perspective so that u cease to misjudge the Igbo Nation sentimentaly Well said! I had an argument with a yoruba colleague in the office this money and she said the biggest loosers in this race are the Igbos, I quickly rebuffed her assertions and I may her understand that Igbos are true Democrats. They fought for the course they believed in and they have nothing to loose. |

illiad: HausaFulanis have taken back power, and their sidekick the yorubas are happy. but it all serves nigeria right. ndigbo have shown Jonathan much love by standing by him to the last. if we had got even a quarter of that love from the ijaws and other waterside people during the Biafra war then the whole of our regions would have been liberated from northern backwardness. having said that, I thank ndigbo for proving once more to the south south that in nigeria they've got only one big brother who loved them more than they loved themselves. and I hope that this love will from henceforth be returned from generation to generation Honestly, the igbos have done really well by proving to us that we the South-South people can always rely upon them. We will surely reciprocate this kind and honourable gedture. When I saw the result from SE especially that of Enugu I was overwhelmed. And for records, one of the best Bendelites in person of Chukwuma Nzogu was solidly on the side of biafra and was a force to be reckon with during the war . History has it that he fought doggedly for the survival of Biafra . Unfortunately, he was killed, I don't want you to believe that we abandoned you guys during the war. Be That as it may, we would forever be grateful for this gesture. |

Dear GEJ, I thought I should write this after watching with keen interest in the going general elections. Even if you eventually loose, you have proved to Nigerians that common citizens from humble backgrounds can be president of this country Nigeria. Your Excellency Sir, you have equally shown to Nigerians your senses of humbleness and humility, though we are humans and we bound to err. In your six years both as acting president and later the president, you fought the greatest battle no Nigerian president ever fought; ranging from Notherners instigated war (Bokoharam) to fighting God fatherism to undue criticism from oppositions and ethnic majorities among others yet you never gave up. Under your watch, Nigeria successfully held two world renowned free and fair elections ( 2011 and 2015). You made elections contestable in courts as a result of the confidence we have in our judicial system. I want you to know that history will has it as the best democratic president this country ever had. Thank you and God bless you. Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria. |

RickRichards: I'm very curious to know how well these PDP youths fare in life if they're _stupid enough to not see PDP is a joke. My advice to PDP youths having problems in their lives is simple: find that trait that's made you a gullible muppet in the hands of GEJ and his cohorts, suppress it...and you'll have a breakthrough.
Farewell GEJ. You suddenly forget that this is democracy and everyone has the right to associate with any party of his or her choice? Don't just rush to post and insult people. And how you sure you are on the right track? My concern is, whoever wins will inherit all these complaints and insult GEJ is receiving . |
