Polish politicians are behaving like hyenas; first it was for Norway to share its profit from oil/gas sales and now crying about how the Germans are owing you Tanks. You sent over 200 old MBTs to Ukraine and expect New Leopard 2 MBTs from Germany? No one owes you nothing jare! Germany that barely has up to 500 Leopard 2 MBTs after the unification will now offer close to 200 units to stupid and entitled cretins. If I hear! |
baralatie:You think US would attack Mainland China? Nah, the war would be fought inside Taiwan and the South-China Sea. China only needs to master how it can get personnel, assets and resources across the sea to the island of Taiwan without taking too many hits and casualties (quite tricky with the artillery, naval and air supports Taiwan has). Russia would simply do exactly what the US is doing against Russia in Ukraine; wage proxy war on US by covertly providing China with whatever support China needs at a cheaper cost (intel, aircraft engines, weapons, oil and gas, grains, uranium, titanium and rare earth metals etc). China has very good relations with Mongolia. I wouldnt be surprised if Mongols join China as mercenaries. Also, Russia could easily draft in its Asian citizens (The Asian-Russians) covertly. If the China-Taiwan war was to last for a year or more (with China equally being an economic and military power), it would be difficult for the US to sustain funding against another economic and military power miles across the seas from home, even with the support of Austrialia and New Zealand. |
Balogunodua:He's such a stubborn fly. With the way his Army and Azov Battalion killed the people of Donbas, I'm sure DPR and LPR will want nothing to do with Ukraine again after this war; just like the two Korean countries. |
It will be interesting to see how this pans out. Would other NATO nations join US to fight China (with Russia's blessing and support of course) if China attacks Taiwan? It seems China is trying to pull out the 3 trillion dollars of its sovereign funds from western countries or sell them off for gold, before making an attempt towards Taiwan. They know it's a bait, Russia-Ukraine conflict has been a great lesson, so China will take its time. |
Zelensky needs to consider other peaceful options because it is evident he will lose this war and huge part of territory. He'd have opted for the type of agreement Russia had with Chechnya - to form a Chenchen Republic inside Russia. Negotiate to have Luhansk and Donetsk as Republics inside Federation of Ukraine. That way, you don't outrightly lose the land, natural resources and sea ports in these areas. |
The puppets from these small nations are beginning to understand that power houses like France, Germany and Italy will not sacrifice their nations and people for Nazi Ukraine. Big and industrialised nations know that, in order to stay competitive in the global economic market (with China, India, Japan, Korea, Indoneisa, etc), you don't shun a cheap product that has good quality. Sadly, these little sentimental and parasitic baltic countries dont understand that. They will soon learn the hard way. Poland is already crying for Norway to share huge profits from Oil and Gas sales - imagine the effontery |
Godman007:Thank you Godman007 |
The EU and Russia seem to be playing chess game on oil/gas pipelines . Every nation is just looking out for herself. While Europe reduces the volume of gas procurement, China, India, Pakistan, Turkey and Indo Pacific Nations will surely increase its off-take of whatever gas Europe isn't buying from Russia. The concerns in Europe will keep growing; Russia and China have agreed to a 30 year gas supply deal. Gazprom is already building the "Power of Siberia 2" Gas Pipeline which will connect to Yamal Gas Pipeline that already supplies Europe. https://amp.interestingengineering.com/russia-gas-pipeline-to-china https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/exclusive-russia-china-agree-30-year-gas-deal-using-new-pipeline-source-2022-02-04/ What this means is, whatever amount of gas European Homes and Industries in Poland, Bulgaria, Finland, Lithuania, etc. aren't off-taking, China, a gas hungry nation, will keep increasing and swallowing the cheap Russian gas to further industrialise its economy. Question is, if EU fails to get cheaper gas / energy supplies elsewhere, how will products from EU compare with those from Asia? It wouldn't be surprising if companies in Europe start moving East for cheap gas and labour in order to stay competitive. https://www.voanews.com/amp/power-of-siberia-2-pipeline-could-see-europe-china-compete-for-russian-gas-/6402242.html There is feasibility study that started some years ago to pipe gas from Russia to India. Although the project was abandoned in 2021 due to politics and costs, however, due to various sanctions against Russia by the collective west, the pipeline may be revisited. https://www.dailypioneer.com/2022/india/wang-for-russia-china-india-gas-pipeline.html It seems Russia is fully ready to turn to China, India and Indo Pacific nations for its energy markets. |
Mossadd:Yes, urea, potash and the likes. Add uranium, titanium and other rare earth metals to the list. But I don't think the US will open a Rubble account as it would seriously impact on and be detrimental to the dollar. |

maasoap:Okay, thank you. Please, I just need the number of a competent and reliable auotmechanic close to Ikeja or Ogudu that can resolve the issue. |
Godman007:Hi Godman007, was yours a Lexus GS350 as well? Kindly share contact details of a good mechanic that can help resolve it. Thank you |
dkenny4lyf:Thank you Kenny |
maasoap:Noted, thank you. |
Twob:Thanks Twob. But tyres are all okay, wheel balancing and alignment properly done (sorry, I failed to mention these). Any other suggestions please? |
Apologies to the OP. Can someone recommend a good mechanic for me please. My car starts to vibrate once the speed gets to 40-60km/h. Diagnosis does not show any code related to this problem. Car is a 2007 Lexus GS350. Thanks and regards |
OP, kindly post a link to your source of information. |
With the way things are going, the west would have singlehandedly enriched India, China and the Asian Continent before the end of this war, while EU countries become poorer due to its own/self-inflicting sanctions. |
egemmie:We don't need slave masters in our Akwa Abasi Ibom land, thank you very much |
Dalil8:That's because, from Monroe Doctrine, the US has classified the ENTIRE WESTERN HEMISPHERE as its "area of influence" and cannot condone any other military alliance besides one with the US |
SatB:Thread is too peaceful for him. The comrade needs APL, else we'll get total vawulence ![]() |
olugabbie:And Turkey, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Greece, etc |
Kingsnairaland:Russia actually has a more advanced S550 System. https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/russia-claims-new-s-550-system-will-be-world%E2%80%99s-first-mobile-intercontinental-nuclear The SAM Defence Systems of the Russian Federation are multi-layered; all the SAMs (s550, s500, s400, s300, s200, BUK, Pantsir s1, TOR ,etc) all communicate via a data link such that any of the system radars (say, in Volgograd) can pick up enemy systems; radars, aircrafts/missiles/ucav/uav, track, share with other remote systems (in Moscow/St. Petersburgh/Ural/Rostov) in the layered network, target and destroy them. https://missilethreat.csis.org/system/russian-air-defense/ Russia that sold 1.6million barrels of crude to CHINA ALONE on a DAILY BASIS in 2021, which I'm sure will likely double this year. India has also stepped up from its annual 2% figures to more than 5% of discounted crude this year already. Add other markets for crude, and other products (gas, coal, chemicals, timber, uranium, plutonium, titanium, other rare earth metals, wheat, grains, fertilizer, urea, etc) being exported globally. That does not seem like a country that will go broke and won't be able to afford developing missiles or even buying out rightly from the market, if push comes to shove? https://www.cnbc.com/2022/03/28/russia-india-india-buys-cheap-russian-oil-china-could-be-next.html Components can always be gotten in the black market with the right amount of money. So, all this talk about Russia running out of guided/precision missiles is just to ginger/boost the morale of Ukraine to fight harder and not give up. |
BritishNaija:And you think Russia cannot replace its oil and gas markets? Time will tell. Last time I checked, Hungary and Greece are opposing the deal. Meanwhile, 10 European countries have already opened Ruble Accounts with Gazprombank in Russia and quietly buying gas with Rubles. Double-faced/mouthed European politicians be acting tough in the media space while still scrambling for cheap Russian Oil/Gas. https://www.rt.com/business/554827-hungary-eu-gas-rubles/ Even Poland and others are buying Russian gas via reverse flow from Germany. Who are they deceiving? Yimu https://www.rt.com/business/554682-poland-buys-russian-gas-germany/ |
BritishNaija:Obviously, not in the interim, since gas supplies to other countries are not delivered via pipeline (as is the case for Europe), but give it time. Like I said, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Turkey, etc are still buying from Russia as there aren't immediate alternatives yet. If Nigeria can commence OB3 pipeline for local gas supplies and AKK for the trans saharan pipeline to Algeria/Morocco, then Russia can pipe its gas to China and onward to Indo Pacific (if all of Europe stops buying from Russia completely); this will more than increase the demand and supply to India, China and Asia (Russia to China/India is even closer than Russia to Germany. Almost same distance if AKK trans saharan pipeline gets to Morocco). Without cheap Russian gas which is already piped to Europe, Europeans will be buying at far higher rates from other markets (probably double the amount) and that means their products will likely not be competitive with products from India, China and Asia. Apart from Canada and Russia, US source for uranium from Australia and khazakhstan and Uzbekistan, so not buying from Russia is No problem.Funny, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are staunch Russian allies... Well, let's see how US intends to offset the 16% share of Russian uranium; US makes use of uranium for its 20% nuclear power plants and even more for its military industrial complex. |
BritishNaija:BritishNaija, well, for starters, let's look at the world population (the emboldened are countries/continents that have sanctioned Russian products); 1. China = 1.44 Billion People 2. India = 1.38 Billion People 3. Africa = 1.3 Billion People 4. Europe = 750,000,000 People Take out 146,000,000 Russians and you have just above 600,000,000 Europeans only. 5. North America = 600,000,000 People 6. South America = 430,000,000 People 7. Australia/Oceania = 43,000,000 People 8. Japan = 126,000,000 People 9. Rest of Asia and Middle East = 1.7 Billion People https://www.worldometers.info/geography/7-continents/ Total World Population (by estimate) = 7.6 to 7.8 Billion People (approximately) Total Population of Countries that have sanctioned Russia = 1.2 to 1.5 Billion People out of 7.6 Billion People Do you still think Russia will not have enough market size with "majority" of the world's population to sell its products? Funny thing is, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and other Europeans are still buying and stocking Russian oil and gas. Apart from Canada, where else do you think USA buys Uranium and Plutonium from to fuel/replace and service its over 5,000 nukes? Also, besides India and China (who already have hungry markets in-country), where do you think USA, Europe and Africa buy Fertilizer and Urea from? Yes, you guessed right, they also buy from Russia, alongside titanium and other rare earth metals for manufacturing of military aircrafts. I'm sure you are aware that grains, wheat, fertilizer, urea, oil and gas are not in the sanctions list. You'd do well to ask yourself why... China and India alone, who are hungry energy consumers, are big enough markets for Russia. |
maasoap:My comment was not limited to this particular school incident alone, but about overall tactics of the Ukrainian Army; shell the Russians from civilian centers and draw enemy reprisal fire/attacks to those areas, and subsequently wail about civilian casualties. This way, Ukraine gains more sympathy from international community while Russia is accused of war crimes. War is about deception. |
Dalil8:War is about deception. The end goal here is that Ukraine just wants The West and Rest of the World to believe that Russia committed acts of war crimes... Smart move from the government, but not so smart sacrificing the lives of civilians when shelling from civilian occupied areas. |
Not going to happen. But if it does, it'll be a declaration or war! |
God1000:The Donbas region is richly blessed in Plutonium, Uranium, Oil & Gas Reserves, Precious and Rare Earth Metals and has a sizable rich lands for farming of grains. Mariupol also has one of largest steel complex in Europe while the port cities (mariupol, odessa, snake islands, etc) will be strategic for oil/gas and maritime services. If Donbas, Mariupol, Odessa, Kherson and Kharkiv are captured and finally occupied by Russia, Ukraine's GDP and Revenues will be severely affected. Just like when Russia annexed Vyborg from Finland after the war and now pumping oil/gas to Europe via Vyborg fields, same (and more) will apply to Donbas Region and other Oblasts captured by the Russians. Imagine Russia alone controlling up to/more than 50% of Oil/Gas Reserves, Mineral Deposits and Grain Fields in Europe... |
paafin:At a speed of Mach 1.7+ (even if it was just 200km/h flight speed), there's no way it would 'safely' land looking like that. Looks like something that fell of the launch tube due to incompetency of the Ukraine user(s), especially since they may have only had few hours/days of training without actual combat experience and during constant bombardments from the enemy. Below is a comment from a captured Ukraine soldier; “As for the NLAW missile launchers, well, we used them more often than the Javelins, but it has its own issue with the battery draining in cold conditions, making it impossible to launch,” he said.He terms the American Javelins "not so useful" in urban warfare due to obstruction from buildings/installations to line of sight. https://www.rt.com/news/555144-ukraine-javelin-nlaw-mariupol/ |
Why is this unpalatable, difficult for me to digest properly and believe? So, a missile that travels at more than say Mach 1.7+ and at a certain altitude will just fall off mid-flight and LAND NEATLY on a grass field without so much of an impact causing dirt, roughness or slight/partial disintegration to the missile? Someone please educate me. The west is running serious war propaganda but we shouldn't absolve Russia of trying to do same. There's more to this than meets the eye. |
