Did my biometric capture since January, was issued a temporary DL that expired in March. Went to the issuing office in may to check for the main DL, the temporary one was collected to use in checking if d main DL is ready. The temporary one was returned to me with "PENDING" boldly written at d back of it. My question is; does one av to wait a lifetime before getting one's DL?

When i did mine in 2013, it took 5months to get the permanent one. Presently, i hope they have sorted whatever challenge that has made the delay stay this long.

This is how you check if your permanent card is ready; send NDL STATUS INPUT YOUR LICENSE NUMBER ( ENSURE ALL ARE IN UPPER CASE) TO 33811.
A REPLY WOULD COME BACK STATING THAT Your card is either ready for collection or not.

If it is ready then you can go get it from the MLA

If you wanna diversify, where do you get the money to do so (remember you need forex to import the equipment for this since they aren't produced locally)?? You wanna export more of your nearly useless forex earner so you can start taking steps towards diversification and some criminals literally make that impossible.

1. Cut cost - reduce all salaries of government workers on CONTISS, CONUASS, CONRAISS, CONTOPSAL, CONMESS, CONHESS, CONJUSS, CONPASS except for those on conpss as they have the least remuneration in civil service.

2 operate a unilateral assembly, senate should be scrapped leaving only the house of reps and cut their salaries and allowances to that of government workers

3 pension for former heads of states, presidents and chief of staff, heads of civil service, etc be slashed to something reasonable

4 pensions of other government retirees in excess of 400000 a month be slashed

5 The numbers of executive aides for the president and ministers cut, their salaries and allowances cut drastically

6 promote transparency and accountability in use of government funds

7 fomulate policies that would drive industrial development and growth

8 all the money saved can then be channelled into funding education, ict, agriculture, manufacturing, road and rail construction

I bet with my left ass that a single average customer would buy 30,000 dollars in a single transaction. So where is the logic behind this policy? where is that mediocre kemi adeosun? why must she remain silent, abi she don forget it is her job to keep the economy in a good shape?

Any idiot who blame Jonathan or low oil prices to be the reason behind this downward economic spiral should be whooped and sent to the abyss. do we for get so soon? during the world economic recession of the late 2000 did we have it this bad? abi wearnt there low oil prices, wearnt there corruption back then? so why would this inffectaul government using this above reasons as a yardstick for suffering Nigerians.

We had saved some dollars at that time, which helped alot, but now our savings is so minute that if government doesn't take some drastic actions, our economy would be worse than where we are presently. Take a look at Angola and Venezuela economies

I just enquired and I can tell you categorically that for presentation, the fees plus other materials are well over 400k for fresh intakes. It is also an all boarding school(I don't really mind anyway but this factor is partly responsible for the high cost). I'd really love to send my daughter there but it is beyond me financially.
So I am down to about two options:
Word of faith and UPSS.
I welcome more suggestions.
