sure bro, I had an uncle whose honda pilot 2003 model drive d light was blinking after he serviced his transmission by changing the oil with that not recommended by the manufacturer. The resultant effect was the d light blinking on the dash board. Thanks to this thread, years later I was able to figure out why this happened. My uncle ended up changing the whole transmission for 250k.
like luvinhubby said check if your transmission oil is low or better still run a diagnostic scan on the car.

Since your tenure is 86 days, then you multiply by 86

86 * 2684.931506849 = 230904.10958904


That's your upfront interest that would be paid to you

Now note when you purchase, what would be deducted from your account would be

10,000,000 - 230904.1095890 = 9769095.890410

And then at maturity 10, 000,000 less the custodian charge would be paid back into your account.

But where my problem lies is that a friend of mine purchased tbills as at nov last year at 10% for 91 days With 9m.
8m was deducted while 1m was left as his upfront.
So why has the yield dropped in a short period of time?

I don't think there's a processing fee in any bank brother.
And also all bankers are aware of how treasury bills work, they just don't want to acquire it for you because they are not the custodians of the funds and you know what that means, it means the deposit would not read for their branch and that can be disastrous.

well why I said they aren't aware is that,
1. When they calculated my upfront for a face value of 10 million at 9.8 % for 86 days. I was told I would be paid 230,904 naira as upfront. How is that possible

I was at the bank today, I think they called it processing fee. But I will tell you the truth it seems most bankers aren't aware of how tbills work

He asked me 2 send my credentials 2 an email address. After sending my credentials I got a txt msg from a seemingly NIS txt generating machine(CDFIPBS-NIS) telling me dat I had been shortlisted into d NIS with a ref number. D txt asked me 2 contact a certain zone E area officer who asked me 2 snd my name n state of origin n d ref number to him. The Bureaucratic operational methods in Government circles wouldn't make them achieve anything unlike private firms who takes their investment serious. Just as we have MTN, ETISALAT, AIRTEL, and GLO all competing fairly in the market pushing down prices so will it be in years time if we can successfully privatize NNPC to the right hands.

I served as an inec adhoc staff in delta state election and I can tell you categorically that in some wards the card readers failed after some time and the adhoc staffs in those PU had to revert to manual accreditation.

I support this 100%. It should not be the school management choosing who would be head boy or head girl or library prefect. Entrenching this mode of thinking at this stage would help open the minds of these teens aka our future leaders of tomorrow.

this delay in payment is so annoying. And so far so good a week after the election no state has paid its inec adhoc staff other than the corpers that were used is rather pathetic. I hope there isn't any conspiracy to perpetuate any fraudulent act in payment of other inec adhoc staffs used for the elections

total money paid by inec to all adhoc staff is 13k. Wit 4500 for training make it 17.5k. I rep Osun

i have a corper friend serving in osun state and so far he has been paid 4500 for first training, 3000 for refresher training, 9000 for the first election and 4000 for transport and feeding allowance for the first election.

Thank God I snapped the list pasted on Thursday, I just went to show my SPO and he said I shldnt worry that he would fix me up.Am still wondering why my name was replaced and I hope the guy plays cool with me and pay me everything.
