reading your little story, I feel there is hope in this union of yours. To start with you need to talk things through with your wife, know when to take your stand on issues in ur marriage like you have done about she not picking them again with the car. Owing to her performance at her work place, the company she works for has promised to sponsor for PR. Infact, the process just began and we are sure of having the PR.

I am currently 48 and won't be able to support my family working in Nigeria. Wify has encouraged me that we will be fine that abroad is meant for 2 people.

My only constraint is my age, hence my question. If you are in my shoe, will you travel?

By the way, I work for a private firm here in Nigeria and you know what it is working for a family company.

Yes truth, the competitiveness seems only a uk thingy and their remuneration is very poor when compared with other countries but UK visa process and relocation seems easier, clear, straightforward and more seamless unlike other countries.

Just imagine what NOVA SCOTIA is currently doing, the process and job sponsorship is kinda complex and not as seamless as that of the UK. Too many unnecessary requirements unlike the UK.

How people are getting sponsored healthcare jobs in large numbers for other countries like the UK directly from Nigeria?

Talk about the relocation cost reimbursement, OSCE registration and other professional trainings and all.

Wifey is yet to get there and they have already booked OSCE for her ahead. Other countries need to make their process easier and remove some unnecessary bottlenecks in the process.

My son got this employment letter through an old acquaintance of his in Nigeria before he left for Amsterdam ,who is working in the said company and standing for him as a guarantor, but there has been several demands from the company on the procurement of some documents in Nigeria, ranges from insurance, ndla , police etc which has cost me thousands of naira, including transit passage clearance ticket fee which I have sent to the guy twice in Amsterdam .
