Cooking gas was #650 when he came in and 3months into his administration, gas fell to #600 and the foot-soldiers started praising Tinubu to the high heavens and immediately, the gas started galloping and it is above #1k now Recently, they claim dollar is now sold for #950 and i couldnt verify if the news is real today. They forgot the same dollar was around #700 when the colosal failure - Buhari left office Tinubu promised #35k salary award to federal workers, eventually, less than 20% of these workers were considered in implémentation leaving the rest in the cold. No one is even condidering state and LG workers while prices of commodities continue galloping at hyper inflationary rate He claimed he will save the subsidy money to revitalize the economy, today he is already seeking $7billion loan. Where is the subsidy accruements? Yes they will just like the former Humanitarian minister - Sadiya Farouk, claim they paid each and every Nigeria #75k for 3months and the cycle deceit and impunity continue. The most sickening thing is some youths on secondly basis continue defending this terrible misfortune in the name of catching cruise and tribal sentiments online. Do i blame them? No. These people are conditioned to remain poor and suffer. I need someone to inform me of a single positive stride of this administration? |
tubolancer:and in few months time they are already controlling the economy of the host communities. |
Southwest is the hardest hit overtaking the northeast. As an Uber driver and an economic scientist and researcher, i can tell you that the suffering in Southwest has quadrupled. It remains for people to start eating grass, just to survive. What exactly are Siuthwest leaders doing? The only places you see little light are the southwest capitals and even in those capitals, there are steady growth of slums and ghettos... The Northeast population are also battling serious economic situation majorly occasioned by insecurity. The leadership has continued to pay lipservice on education. These people need education to be lifted from the crude condition they have continued to be in. The southeast have continued to thrive and evolve in different economic conditions. Whatever the economic condition have continued to strengthen them that they have risen above difficult conditions and they are really doing well. The South south are emulating the southeast and they are not doing too badly The northwest leadership have done some good in that region. The north central are neither here nor there but their condition is better than that of southwest and northeast |
omenka:little man its a topographic error |
I come accross all manner of excuses, lies, propaganda for the federal government. Tinubu supporters are even comparing prices of gasoline and other commodities between USA and Nigeria claiming fuel is cheaper in Nigeria. The demonic thing is that they dont compare the minimum wages. In the US, the minimum wage by hourly is almost $8 per hour and if you are doing an 8hourly job as we have with most Nigerian government workers, you will be earning $64 per day, $320 per week in 5days weekly jobs and $1280 per month. This is for the least paid jobs in the United States. Those in the United State's government employ earn minimum of around $3000 per month and that is #3million in Nigeria's currency. How much do Nigerian's government pay its workers monthly - $30 equivalent to #30,000 and there are some states that do not even pay up to that amount. Yet Nigerian's politicians are among the highest paid in the world when basic salaries and allowances are calculated added to the treasury looting.. There was also a recent comparison in African countries minimum wages and a country like Gabon pays as minimum wage of $550 monthly equivalent to #550,000 and the least country before Nigeria pays $280 equivalent to #280,000 and Nigeria pays $30 dollars. There are still some Nigerians in the private sectors that earn as little as $15 - #15,000 per month. Then check the prices of commodities and tell me how those in the minimum wages survive. My question is, do the current presidency know about these statistics which ofcourse i know they very well know and what will they do to help Nigerians out of the hell they found themselves in APC's led governance because when PDP were still in power, prices of things were very minimal.? |
Yourprick:Nigerians and foolishness. Ur gullibility stinks to the skies. How much was dollar when buhari left office? Until it goes beyond 700, there is nothing to have erection for |
There is this Fulani friend who carried Buhzri's campaign on his head prior to 2015 presidential election. He had a 90k job then and he's always round and about how Buhari will stop corruption and jail every corrupt official. How naira would be stronger than dollars and pounds. How fuel would be cheaper than borehole water etc. Two months into Buhari's government, he lost his job and it took him 6months to find a 25k one. During the period of his unemployment he avoided people. So one day i purposefully visited him and he was raining abuses and curses on Buhari... |
JagabanB:U seem misérable |
Evilthoughts:did U watch the hunger protests yesterday in southwest? |
accordadoga29:U should be happy that people are calling out ur leadership for ur own good |
There are some lucky people in Southwest, majorly those connected to the centre and those lucky enough to follow who know road (Igbos). Please dont get me wrong. Igbos excessive hustling spirit have helped many Nigerians to be self-reliant. The south westerners who are lucky are less than 5%. More than 90% are languishing in abject penury. You see these unfortunate ones in the city slums and the remote southwest areas. Most of southwest regions are remote areas, aside the state capitals There are lots of them who find it difficult having one meal per day and they are not in the IDP camps. The truth is, southwest has always been this way. The pre-colonial and colonial days promoted aristocracy, a term i rather call elitism - the dominance and suppressive control by the ruling class. It has continued till this day. The system believes in the suppression and subjugation of the poor masses through tribal, religious and traditional control that the poor masses in irony fight for the sustainance of the terrible system. This is the faith of majority of the south westerners and it will still take more decades, if not centuries to overturn |
Mine is Anambra state and my worst is late Chinwoke Mbadinuju. He did one term of four years and while leaving office he has no visible project aside locating the state university at his hometown Uli. Owing two years and above salaries to civil servants and pentioners. Political murders which the prominent one was the purpoted murder of the then NBA charmant Anambra chapter - Barristers Mr&Mrs Igwe among other maladministration |
Vinnie2000:I know they must have flooded ur DM by now seeking various financial help with the comment ur dropped |
Its more ironical, funnier, sad, unfortunate that these people feel they are doing Tinubu any good or even protecting his interests by failing to think about their own interests. Politics as they say is hinged on interests and politicians are moved by their personal interests. So why wont the followers(Nigerians) go for their own interests and what are the followers interests? A better Nigeria for all. Tribalism, religion are all tantamount to a better and working nation. As u know, Tinubu or Obi no know u or do they even wan know u. Nigerians masses - mothers that die in child-bearing due to poor healthcare delivery, our daughters and sisters that have turned their bodies into means of survival due to unemployment and impunities of the ruling class, our sons and brothers that die in the deserts and avoidable crimes due to the rotten system of governance that denied them employment opportunities after toiling for years through school and the list is endless are the ones that suffer. These realities know no tribe or religion |
I'm from Anambra and mine is Peter Gregory Obi 2006-2014 |
As they have purpotedly promised that the CBN reforms will change the statusquo by November. We are expecting among other things dollar exchanging for less than #500. The plans on refineries taking effective shapes and prominence. He cant afford to take Nigeria on that terrible road Buhari did because Nigerians will vehemently resist that. We all own this country, it doesnt belong to a selected few |
Even though i still believe his emergence is highly questionable. I believe Peter Obi was deprived of the position. But at this point, there is nothing else to do since the highest court of the land has affirmed his(Tinubu's) mandate. All Nigerians need to do is to wish him well and pray for a successful administration. If Tinubu really means well, he should start the process of restructuring this country baxk to confederation(regionalism). At his age, he should be seeking for legacy which others couldnt achieve. Obasanjo started this process of restructuring in 2000 but ended up playing poliyics with it. Yaradua who i know would ve seen to its implementation died before the process could start. Only God knows whether his death was a natural phenomenon. Jonathan started and completed the national conference hinged on restructuring but played politics as usual to get a second term. Buhari had it in his manifestoes but never started the process and all these leaders aside Yaradua failed the country. This is the time for someone to step up to the plate and do the seeming impossible. Tinubu has come a long way in the pursuit of this highest honour. He fought through it confronting biggest men of them all - Obasanjo, Buhari at a point when he felt the powers that be were using Emefiele, Lawan and various policies to stifle his emergence. He went through all these obstacles and here we are today He has all it takes to defeat all the past leaders in his leadership by doing that they could not do simply because they lack the balls and courage to restructure a country that only needs restructuring to succeed... |
mokwechineme:Tinubu supporters we need update please |
mokwechineme:Heard the northern caliphate is planning a major showdown with the federal government |
There is a reliable source that Tinubu's administration is planning a major overhaul of Nigeria back to regionalism |
creativehubb:and when the justice system fails completely in a polarized nation like Nigeria and the nation is in dire need of rescue, u feel God wont intervene? |
mokwechineme:Shettima is already sidlined |
Ofcourse in the eyes of mortals, its obviously impossible but for The Almighty God, nothing is impossible. Something must give. |
Because i heard obidients are making money in pounds and dollars exchanhing it for millions of naira while Tinubu supporters have been in the queue waiting for 30k handout |
Its clear Tinubu's appointment didnt follow the shemes, manuevres and wishes of the northern caliphate'. Who are the 'northern caliphate? They are no other than the Fulani lords. Ofcourse they had their plans allowing Shettima whom they believe will be at their beck and call when the mathematics is eventually solved. Little did they know that Tinubu played them acting sick during the electioneering campaighns. Today Tinubu seems as strong as a man in his middle 50s. His choice of appointments and aides is that of a man who doesnt want unnecesaary interference and the caliphate already saw that handwriting. I believe they are behind the CSU releases. In the next 30-40 hours, we will know how far the caliphate can go in their strength |
EcoNews:if u read the part Enugu been the capital of Anambra and all the allocations channelled there there and the dustbin Anambra was coming from, u would understand better. When did u visit Anambra last because the atmosphere u see in Awka and Onitsha is what u see replicated all over the state |
Nigeria in general has had very hard luck in their governors. Infact the various presidents have outperformed the governors. If the governors since 1999 have performed even averagely, Nigeria would have been a prosperous nation. The state executives have hidden under the cover of the searchlight solely on the national government to be extremely docile, passive and nonchalant in the development of the country. They have diverted and squandered funds meant for their various states. While the federal government is beset and confronted with the basic issues, needs and necessities of the Nigerian masses, the state executives are majorly interested in white elephant projects in total neglect and disregard of the basic and primary needs of the people In the ineptitude, mismanagement, nonchalance and disregard that characterised the governorship experience in Nigeria, few governors however stood out - Sam Egwu, Dave Umahi, Ambode, Donald Duke, Emmanuel Udom, El Rufai, Peter Obi, Chris Ngige, Yaradua, Alex Otti. In the above list four(4) stood out and they will be itemised from bottom to the top. 3 In the third position are Emmanuel Udom - immediate past governor of Akwaibom and Donald Duke - former governor of Cross River state. Emmanuel Udom transformational stride was very expansive and he was the best Akwaibom had since 99. Donald Duke shared the third spot wuth Emmanuel Udom. His achievements in tourism and cleanliness led to the state hosting the Miss World Beauty Pageant. He also achieved a lot in Agriculture, Education and Transportation. 2 Sitting in second position is Alex Otti '- current governor of Abia state. Even though he is just barely five months into the governorship Abia, a state with a terrible history of state administrations have been finally blessed with a heaven's sent in the person of Alex Otti. In just five months, Abians are already feeling the impact of a working government. He promised he wont collect penny in salary because he is in Abia to render a total selfless service and i wish Abians the very best because they ve suffered in the hands of past administrations. 1 In the first spot is Peter Obi - former governor of Anambra state. He won the governorship with an unknown party at that time but was denied the mandate by the then godfathers. Anambra then was a ghetto state controlled by series of godfathers - Emeka Offor, the Uba brothers etc. He fought for his nandate for three years and eventually won in ciurt and went on to kill and bury godfatherism in Anambra politics. Before he came in, Anambra was a ghetto state as i stated earlier. There is virtually no development whatsoever apart from the few roads Ngige did. Enugu(042) as former capital of Anambra before the creation of state in 1991 carving out Enugu from Anambra was where Anambra allocations and IGR went and from 1991to 2003, Anambra was controlled by drug lords and godfathers. Anambra was the very worst in everything. Obi came in and within 3 years took Anambra to first in education, security, creation of numerous new urban areas and the list is endless. He met an indebted state and while leaving office left in the state coffers, cash deposit of 75billion among other investments. Do you agree with this list or do you feel there are some past or present governors that should or shouldnt be part of the list?? |
Its funny and interesting that these people we are discussing here are seeing these or pointed to see them because i got a shocking phonecall on one of my threads. -, we must continue this discussion because Nigeria is for all of us. No one is more Nigerian than the next person no matter the position you wielded or wielding today. I have actively followed and participated in Nigerian politics since 1999 and i can boldly discuss the political permutations during these period in review. Nigerians have left their touchlight and focus on the federal government giving the state free hand to operate as they wish. The governors if actively engaged would have in their own capacities as chief executives of the states fill in the gaps(supplemented the federal government)for a better Nigeria but they wouldnt do that. They have hidden under the focus on the federal government to squander government resources meant for Nigeria's development. These are/were my worst governors since 1999 - Okezie Ikpeazu, Ben Ayade, Dapo Abiodun, Godwin Obaseki, Ifeanyi Okowa, Willie Obiano, Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Uzodimma, Yahaya Bello, Diri, Adebayo Alao-Akala. However, three(3) out of these list stood out as the worst in the history of governorship and i will itemize it from bottom to the top 3 At number three is Ben Ayade - former governor Cross River state. Donald Duke set the standard under which subsequent administrations would easily thrive. Liyel Imoke tried but Ben Ayade came in and make total mockery of governance. His focus was more on white elephant projects against the people's need. At a point in the middle of his administration, he appointed 5000 aides - SAs and SSAs and it was that bad. 2 In second position is Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state. Ogun is a state that birthed some of the most prominent Nigerians but it has failed in the state leadership. The chief executives of that state since 1999 has failed the state woefully. There is no reason Ogun shiuldnt be competing with Lagos in terms of infrastructures because the industrialization in the Nigeria economic capital Lagos hugely and immensely overflowed into Ogun state. Dapo Abiodun happens to personify the ineptitude and clear failure of the Ogun state leadership 1 The first position goes to Okezie Ipkeazu, immediate past governor of Abia state. Just like Ogun state, Abia has had terrible experience when it comes to state governors. Orji Uzo Kalu failed as a governor, his successor failed as well but Okezie's failure is clearly in another different level. He supervised and saw to the complete destruction of whatever is left of developments of the past administrations. At a point he left his state and duties and was following Wike as a servant. a whole executive governor. If u feel any governor should or shouldnt be there, please do point that out. |
PCSI:and u ciuldnt ignore my thread if u didnt give a diving Bleep. Enwe ida |
In Anambra where i reside, Sokudo's impact or projects are yet to be felt. In my earlier threads, a particular Tunde sent youtube videos of Soludo's current projects which i ciuld not access because my Youtube app is not working. However, i had discussion with one of the who is who in politics in my area this morning and i was enlightened by Soludo's ongoing projects which i am yet to make out time to verify and if these are verified then Anambra may afterall be in good hands atleast better than that Obiano who ended a total failure. |
