The drama started when his girlfriend Lydia, who he was spotted with in a video months ago, got dragged on Twitter by his alleged side chic, Toju and her friends.

Lydia had taken the first shot in tweets she shared on Twitter days ago. In the tweets, she talked about “showing she is mad”.

Two herdsmen arrested for robbing a family and raping 16-year-old daughter in Ogun state.  Ekohotblog, September 14, 2020… Two herdsmen are currently cooling off at the Nigerian Police Force’s custody, Ewekoro Divisional Headquarters, Ogun State, for allegedly robbing and defiling a teenager, Ekohotblog reports.

The Police confirmed the report in a statement issued on Sunday by the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, and made available to our reporter.

According to the statement, the suspects, identified as Abu Adamu and Muhammadu Aliyu, were arrested following a distress call received by the Police at about 1 am.

Police Detain, Allegedly Torture Woman Who Later Died Ekohotblog, September 14, 2020….A 20-year-old lady identified as Bilikisu Isa, has died from complications she sustained after she was allegedly tortured by the police.

The deceased who was from Aso Mararaba, in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State was arrested alongside her friend, Rukayya Muhammed on August 31.

Ms. Muhammed who narrated what happened at the police station said that her friend was arrested and tortured in connection with an alleged theft carried out by a man simply identified as “Abdul,” said to be the deceased ex-lover.

Bilikisu Isa Giving details into the incident, Bilkisu’s friend, Rukayya Muhammed, said while they were both detained, Bilkisu was forced to remove her hijab (head covering) and repeatedly beaten with wire until she fainted.

Police To Investigate Viral Video Of ‘Official’ Smoking Shisha Ekohotblog, September 13, 2020…The Nigeria Police Force has launched an investigations into a viral video that captured an officer of Nigeria Police smoking shisha unprofessionally during duty.

A video showing a middle-aged man believed to a police officer of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) smoking shisha and drinking alcohol while on the uniform has been making rounds on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

The middle-aged man in the Nigerian Poice uniform could be seen heavily smoking shisha in a 56 seconds video in an undisclosed location while taking alcohol as the eyewitness who captured the embarrassing moment watched on.

The NPF via its official Twitter handle @PoliceNG on Sunday said the investigation was to determine how true the video is or if it is an impostor or actor in a movie scene.

Apostle Suleman Issues Strong Warning To Freeze As He Apologizes To Oyedepo Ekohotblog, September 13, 2020… The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has reacted to the apology offered to the founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo by controversial On-Air Personality, Daddy Freeze, over an old clip.

Freeze took to his social media pages, to upload a video of him saying he was sorry of insulting the cleric and promised to cut out the confrontational way of addressing faith-based issues.

Suleman, in a tweet via his verified handle, warned Freeze that he can criticize but not insult. According to the cleric, Freeze had insulted him too in the past, but he has forgiven him as instructed by the Bible.

“Just watched the video of Ifedayo Olarinde (Daddy Freeze) apologizing to Papa Oyedepo over the video he did 2 years ago. “He equally did videos against me.

I forgave because the Bible enjoins us to forgive. That’s what is expected of us. “You can criticize but don’t insult,” Suleman wrote.

Another actress, Lola Alao has recounted her journey as a COVID-19 survivor.

Explaining her ordeal, Lola Alao noted that it was a tough experience for her as she was sick to the bone and lost her sense of smell.

Helicopter Crash: Repair My House, 77-Year-Old Landlady Cries To Govt

Mrs Oluwayemisi Oluwole, the landlady of one the two buildings affected by the ill-fated Bell 206 that crashed on Salvation Road, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos State, is begging the government through the appropriate authorities to repair her house, Ekohotblog reports.
Our reporter gathered that the 77-year-old woman on Saturday when the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, visited the scene of the crash, lamented that she has been barred from sleeping in her house due to the impact of the crash.
She said, “I thank God for what happened because there was nobody in the apartment affected by the crash. We thank God that the helicopter didn’t land on top of the house.
“I hope somebody will come and assess the degree of the damage and that should be done quickly because I have not entered the house since yesterday because I have been barred from entering the house.
“Since yesterday (Friday), a lot of people have come here without observing any COVID-19 protocols. In my house now, I can count 20 face masks on the floor.
So, I want to appeal to government to come and help us to sanitise the place.”
Speaking on the incident, Gov. Sanwo-Olu promised Oluwole and other affected residents that the state government would carry out integrity test on the structures and do the necessary repairs.
He said, “I am here to do a real on-the-spot assessment and I have seen things for myself.
We thank God that as painful as the incident might be, the damage was not beyond what we have witnessed.
We are pained by the death of the three people on board, but we thank God because it could have been worse than that.
“The affected buildings are residential homes that have citizens living there.
As at the exact time the helicopter crash happened, a lot of people were not on the premises and even the elderly people that were around were in their rooms.
But as God would have it, nothing in term of fatality happened to people on the ground.
So, we need to thank God. If not, fatality may have been a lot more than what we are talking about.
“The people affected are senior citizens; they are people in their 80s and 70s. We have seen the level of destruction and damage.
Tests will be conducted to understand the integrity of the buildings and once that is ascertained, we will start work with the federal agencies.
We will start the reconstruction and renovation of the places affected and ensure that we quickly bring respite to the senior citizens that have been affected.”
Ekohotblog reported that the helicopter, which took off from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, crashed into the fence in-between the two houses at 16A, Salvation Road, about two minutes to land at Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja.
All the three crew members on board identified as Captain Chika Ernest, Macaulay Brownson and Clement Ndiok died in the crash.

A joint team of emergency responders extinguished the fire before it escalated to more adjoining buildings.

Information reaching us at Ekohotblog says that the fire started around 8am and destroyed the entire first floor of the residential building.

When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the incident, noting that the cause of the fire is unknown but rescue operation is ongoing.

According to reports, the incident happened inside a market in Owerri, Imo state.

In the video, the lady whose name was not disclosed could be seen shouting at the man after she refused his proposal.

The heartbroken man prostrated on the floor as he pleaded with her to accept his proposal.

Lady Mourns Pilot Of Helicopter That Crashed In Lagos, Blames Hospital

Gloria Ugolee, a sister to a popular On Air Personality, Mr Emmanuel Ugolee, has blamed the hospital that the pilot, Chika Ernest, was taken to, for treatment, for not giving quick attention to the injured pilot.

According to Gloria, They waited for police report until he died”

Ekohotblog reported that there were three crew members on the helicopter belonging to Quorom aviation, that flew into Lagos from Rivers state.

While two of the crew members died at the scene, one of them who happened to be the pilot, Chika Ernest, was found alive and was rushed to the hospital.

Taking to her page to mourn him, Gloria said the pilot died from delayed treatment because the hospital insisted that a police report must be tendered before treatment would commence.

She commended the late pilot, Chika, noting that he professionally emptied his fuel tank before crashing into the wall to avoid an explosion.

”Captain Chika Ernest, pilot of the plane crash in opebi Lagos this afternoon, emptied the fuel tank to avoid explosion on impact, he crashed on a fence avoiding the roofs and house. Always looking out for others. My brother and friend since primary school, said he was in pH just this week, and now he is gone. Taken to the hospital but after taking all the videos for social media, they waited for police report untill he died. I miss you is an understatement. John11:23-25 my only consolation.” she wrote.

Relationship Expert, Joro Olumofin Takes Legal Action Against Tunde Ednut In The US Relationship expert Joro Olumofin has taken legal action against an Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut, as the quarrel between them worsen.

The duo has been fighting each other online since last year after Tunde Ednut raised an alarm that Joro’s posts were fake and not from readers as he claims. Joro did not let that slide as he exposes Tunde Ednut, claiming he was deported from the UK and is living in the US illegally.

For weeks, Tunde has continued posting subliminal directed at Joro, prompting Joro to take legal actions. Joro filed a complaint against Tunde with the US Department of States for cyberstalking and criminal defamation, and for allegedly overstaying his visa in the US.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development Services) polled 135 votes compared to Prof. Ben Oghojafor’s 31 votes. It was gathered one vote was declared void.
