Emosariemen:
Good morning all

I am new here.

I will be needing all help I can get, we have been TTC for 4 years and God has finally done it. We want our babies to birthed in God’s own country. Guru in the house please guide me on how to go about this.

Thank you all for your anticipated response.

Congratulations dear!

Wish u a safe delivery, I shall carry to term. Amen.

What steps did u take to get pregnant?

I will advice u to read from the beginning, that’s the best way to get undiluted information. Happy reading

Did you just got your visa for soul visit to birth or just the normal B1B2 visa ?

I am due Sept for my second baby and so skeptical applying , hoping this new government is more linen with birth tourism .

My initial visa was solely to give birth, I had been TTC for over 4years and I was granted.

Pardon me but I’ll like to call myself one of the ancestors except that I wasn’t really active on the group.

My subsequent visa were granted to me with no issues, I still make sure to tell them I most likely will visit for medical reasons. I usually have some minor complications during pregnancy because of the drugs I use to prevent threatened abortion. The last one affected my liver and I lost my sister to childbirth.

So I believe every interview is unique and we can tell our unique stories to the VOs rather than the generic ones and that’s y I chose to use a hospital in a totally new environment.

I hope this answers it all.

Okay nice! Will love to use something different that’s why I opted for the hospital. I always have my kids in different hospitals and state.

You should book an appointment so that u can get a date before delivery. The embassy allows few people at a time because of the COVID.

We are looking at having our second journey at the same time. Wifey is yet to apply for visa. Have you applied? We are using the same hospital and doctor as the first time.

Oh nice! Where did you have your first?

Yes I have a valid visa. Now that there’s a new government, getting a visa will be easier than before.

Thanks Omodadi2. I haven’t been checking for a while now. Do u think it’s a gud idea to reapply?

Sorry for your sisters' denial.

In all, if you've bin following interview trascrips recently, you'll notice that the reason for choosing US is now a question used to deny people when not answered correctly, I mean adding the dual citizenship purpose which is why most of us all are going there coupled with the First Class healthcare.

The account statement might also have issues, but I think her reason for choosing US that she stated isn't genuine enough.

Abeg sabi mamas.... I bought arik air for this my travel parole mainly because of the convenience. 11hour nonstop flight with an active toddler seemed really nice to me then. But with this latest arrangement that AMCON has taken over and rumor has it that they have cancelled most international flights including USA. I was adviced by a staff unofficially to make another arrangement and get a return leg refund when I get to naija. But my issue is that, I didn't receive any official mail from the airline mgt. shud I send a mail to them to confirm if the flight will still hold on my return date (I was told if I cancel, I won't get a refund) or go ahead to book another flight and sort out this issue with them when I get to lag. Pls ur urgent responses will be highly appreciated as I'm due to leave Chicago on the 9th of March.

@nef Abeg I don pm u.....

Oh ok. Just checking they haven't changed their fees.

Quick question to the mothers that travel with their toddlers alone before the husband arrives. Where do you "put" them on the day of labor? As in do you take them with you to the hospital or what? I'm asking for non Houston mothers. Coz I think Houston peole have a communal arrangement?
Mom2015, what did you do with your toddler during labor?

I left her with family members....it wasn't easy for them as well. U can arrange with ur team members.

Hello Mamas and Papas in the house !!! Happy New year to everyone!
Congratulation to everyone who had their Visas granted, successful POE, safe delivery and successful completion of their missionary journey. And For those whose went otherwise, never give up...keep pushing forward. To God be the Glory!!!

My missionary journey began over a week ago when I arrived at Newark, my POE. God was in control and it went thus;
CBP: hello, Passport? why are you here?
Me: hello, to have my baby.
CBP Seemed a newbie, so a nearby CBP who overheard my response quickly told him what to do.
CBP: where will that be and have you Got any Dr's correspondence?
Me: yes and handed it to him
CBP: Good! So how much have you got
Me: $? And my DH will be coming with more before my delivery.
CBP: stamped me in for 6mth and wished me a safe delivery and a happy stay.

Thanking God for a smooth entry and praying for a safe supernatural delivery and a testimony filled successful missionary journey for us all. Amen
Thanking all those who have helped me in one way or the other on this forum, God bless you real good!!!

Congrats dear....part 2 success story loading..... It will all end in praise.

[quote author=ada87 post=52284020]Hi all ,I am the lady her husband abused physically sometime in September,I would be due God's grace in a week's

Hi Ada,

What are the details u entered when u registered for antenatal, did u state that ure married and that the father is involved in the pregnancy?
If not, kindly proceed with the single mom profile and u can state his name on the birth certificate of the baby but use ur last name. I do not know if that will be accepted in your tradition.
Also, I think u shud ask ur mom or any other elderly person that's on ur side, they may have other opinion for u.

As for me, I will maintain a single mom profile and delete him from my life but sometimes we have to calm down and rethink our decisions. I pray God will guide right.

PS: Abeg i have a big space in Chicago and I am willing to share, anyone interested shud pm me for details. I am bored and need a companion.

Good evening NL family. In the spirit of giving back, this is my experience.i came into Chicago on Friday 9th of December.

My flight was meant to be on Wednesday via arik airlines at 10:30pm, unfortunately it was cancelled till 10:30am the following day and I wasn't notified. I waited till 12:00am to check in my bags cos they were a lot before going back home. I got back to MMA again around 9am on Thursday and there was a lot of commotion at the arik kiosk. Other customers from london, New York, South Africa took over the counter and refused the staff from checking us in. We waited till 4pm before the officials resumed checking the passengers bag and it took abt2hrs of our time. At 6pm, they started boarding us but not on the flight, we were kept in a cubicle where we stayed another 2hrs. During this period, they explained that they were waiting for the captain to inspect the plane, thereafter they were waiting for the cabin crew, thereafter they said the fuel wasn't sufficient and they needed abt 3tons of fuel. Finally, we were boarded into the plane where we waited another 1hr in the very hot plane, they said the fuel wasn't enough and that they needed more fuel. At that point the passengers were furious and insisted that the pilot moved the plane otherwise they will all be beaten up. Finally at 9:10pm, we started our journey to JFK. The pilot did a great job taking off and landing even to the extent that all of the passengers clapped for him, the food on board was fantastic but there was no entertainment on board but no one needed it cos we were all tired. The plane was really nice and I was wowed, even the passengers commended arid on that.
We got to JFK on Friday around 4:00am and I requested for a wheelchair but I had a toddler with me so I couldn't use it but my interview with the cbp officer was fast tracked.
I filled the self help electronic device and I was cleared even though I had a lot of African food with me. I waited for some minutes and it was my turn with a dark skinned elderly cbp officer. My interview went thus;

Me: Good morning (hands over myself and baby's passport)
Cbp: hi, why are you here? (Scans my passport)
Me: To give birth to my baby
Cbp: wow, wow, wow while looking at the computer screen
Me: I hope there is no problem cos I can hear u wowing
Cbp: not at all, how long will you stay in the USA
Me: three months
Cbp: I have just one little problem with u, u will be staying for 3months but ur visa expires in jan
Me: yes, it will. I sent a mail to the embassy and was told that I'll be fine but that my entry to the USA is dependent on ur own discretion.
Cbp: nods his head and stamps me in for 6months. No documents asked , no agriculture.
I was struggling with my begs when I was leaving and he Called me to ask what. Had in my bag and I told him my baby foodstuff and her clothes. He also asked if I had liquid stuff in my bag and I said no. He then asked me to proceed to collect my baggages and I was free to leave.
No secondary inspection,no agriculture. All in all took abt 2mins.
I took a delta flight to Chicago and I'm still trying to get used to the weather.
Abeg for mamas looking to fly before visa expires, pls be prepared ooo, and don't get to usa on the day ur visa expires cos ur flight might be delayed.

My appreciation goes to my personal persons firstymom,ladyG,Sugah,Gagat,etc....

I didn't ask her because it wasn't like I knew her before then but it's just common sense. I was cleaning up after her for 3 weeks and I was almost due.

Please let's tell ourselves the truth. If you're too lazy at least be willing to spend....you can't be lazy and stingy at the same time. It is a sin grin

Except if ure staying with ur nuclear family, they would still have said something bad about u behind u or u guys would have had one or two misunderstandings...and I don't think u will be very comfortable there as well as to be living on ur own. And a lot of people have medical issues associated with their pregnancy eg a woman that has pre eclampsia etc.

I understand ur take but I believe that if we don't hear the other persons story we won't understand the true picture. grin grin grin

I witnessed a couple of weeks in this particular case so it's not hear say or gist. I observed with my own eyes.

Unless you see with your own eyes people will never tell you the full story. The story you posted seems to have another side...why would you stay to be subjected to such if you've paid rent elsewhere...doesn't add up

Just like ur story dosent add up as well, did u actually ask the visitor her reasons for not assisting at all.

Like I said it has happened to a couple of people on this thread so it's not about me at all...u may as well read their stories for those that were nice enuf to write it out and for those cases I also saw with my own eyes!!!! So Abeg all this stories of helping the visitor dosent make sense to me, if they really wanted to assist they shud t be complaining so much. Who doesn't know that having a visitor is going to inconvenience him/her? They shud have said no in the first place , it's not like anyone forced them to take the visitor into their house Abeg.... Enuf of these host/visitor story
