Confused about what It`s just a frickin skincolour!
If parents would do their job and teach them about BOTH cultures and to be happy with wom they are , and they`d not come across people like NeNe too often , they will have no reason to feel confused! Afterall, we are ALL human beings!

they do that to everyone, actually. Even fellow Nigerians.

I doubt its a "country" thing. Women from anywhere can do it.
I never said that Nigerian women don`t do it to other Nigerian women. i was only pointing out some experiences i had because Nene is acting as if only white people are racist and don`t want a black man/woman to be with one of their man/woman. That simply ain`t true .

really, so you don't see white men who hate these type of relationships. at least black women don't try to hurt the white women in relationships with black men, whereas some racist white men would kill them. don't flatter yourself honey, white men hate it most. by the way, i am glad that you said you are a white woman with "a hell of an attitude" yet you are with a black guy. your guy probably doesn't have a problem with your attitude, but if it was a black woman it would be a different story.
really? Ok, probably a black woman would not try to kill the white woman , however it has happened to me that Nigerian wives of friends of my husband tried to hook him up with their single Nigerian friends. According to them i was not good enough because i am NOT Nigerian and don`t cook the food nor do i speak the language.
So puleazzee stop acting as if black women are angels and don`t dislike white women for dating " their men ".
It also happened that while my husband and i were walking on the street together , that a black woman kinda started wiggling her ass in front of my husband and then she laughed and told her friends that she doesn`t understand what he`s doing with a white woman.
Lots of angry/fristrated black ladies outthere , it`s just that they try to cover it up!!!!!

I also wonder why marry a foreigner if you want to raise your kids 100% Nigerian anyway??
Those who are not willing to compromise better look for a partner from their own country/tribe.

To poster : How would you feel if your husbands family would not allow their kids to visit your house because of the way you bring your kids up? wink

lol, ok. God help black men (SOME).
You know, i could agree with you to some extend. I too don`t understand why some people would choose their partner based on the colour of their skin .
But the rest of your post is crap and you`re not any different from those sick racist bastards  Stormfront .
These " halfbreeds" how you like to call them are not confused. it is people like YOURSELF who make them feel like they don`t belong to the african comminuty because their mom or dad is white. People like you make them feel they are inferior to you.
You know, those retarded white racist complain also complain on how mix tacing will make their super duper race go extinct , just like you do!
To be honest , i personally can`t wait untill the day everyone is mixed and there`s no black , white & yellow!!
Unfortunately i wont be there to see that happen!

Whatz wrong in your visitor asking for a cup of water from your child. You have to evaluate your reasoning. I dont see anything wrong in that.

Nothing wrong with a visitor asking for something to drink in a polite way , but to just say " Bring me water " is just plain rude. Although i must say that were i am from it is considered to be very rude to ask the person you are visiting for drink/food. You wait untill it is been offered to you.

So, since we are talking about upbringing of kids. I have been to several Nigerian or mixed party`s and i have whitnessed on several occasions that somebody demanded for something to eat within 5 minutes after she arrived.
When we celebrated our daughters 1st birthday we saw Nigerian kids throw chickenbones all over the place , not in the bin. And most of the time some Nigerians visit us with their kids , afterwards our place will look like a bomb hass been thrown on our house. cool Their kids touch everything in OUR home and the parents will not even say anything about it. I sometimes feel like i am a " police officer " watching somebody`s elses frickin kids.
O well, yeah kids in Nigeria are better raised than here LOL grin

I believe that if you`re a Christian that you should do a church wedding , not a traditional wedding.

How funny, " our brother " is also married to a girl from Imo state and he too complained about the money he had to spend for the traditional wedding .
Up on that the woman also wanted to do a church wedding.

Leilah How can you be so darn sure that Tara`s husband used her for papers? Maybe he did love her and did marry herbecause he wanted to have a family with her. Ofcourse he should not have cheated on her , but Tara seems to be a very insecure woman and insecure women can drive men nuts LOL
How can you expect that man or any man to love and respect her when she obviously doesn`t love herself
How can she be so stupid to only blame the woman? Which woman with selfesteem would want such man back

What i do is , i stand up and take whatever i don`t want her to play with.
She knows what the word " no " means but sometimes she`ll not listen a still try to play with it.

Nor do i see any reason why i`d allow my daughter to scatter the entire livingroom.
Family / Re: A Racial-marriage Problem! by monatoetje: 9:23pm On Oct 25, 2008
Tara If your husband was a good and godfearing man he`d not cheat on you either.
I understand your anger , however i think it doesn`t make sense trying to get a man back whoobviously doesn`t want you.
Where`s your self esteem
Let those two have eachother , they DESERVE eachother.
Get those divorce papers ASAP and get on with your life.
The only way you can " punish him " is to move on with your life and to show him that you don`t need him emotionally NOR financially. wink

Angolobabe in my opinion it doesn`t make any sense to refuse to sign those divorce papers.
Why stress yourself about making it hard on for the man to get divorced from you? He doesn`t want her,
Life is short and i see really no reason why any woman or man would waste his energy on making another person`s life miserable. It`s very immature too!

I have nothing against women who choose to stay at home mums and who believe in the things you believe in. That`s your right , however i do have a HUGE problem with narrow minded people LIKE you who say that modern society`s are work of the devil.

, What if the wife ALSO works 40 hours a week, or what if she HAS to work , because the husband does not have a job at the moment
She needs to work , othwerwise there will be no money for food , insurance and for rent of the house?
And don`t tell me should quit her job , they cannot risk to loose the house and live in a carton box, grin

Baby Jinx:

This is a clip to accompany the guide posted, it shows us what to do and how to do it. Please for the sake of our families, watch this video. I convinced my husband to install a small black and white TV for me in our kitchen so I can watch these inspirational tapes while I cook his food. I think it makes my food sweeter, at least that’s what he tells me, he says he can taste my obedience and submission in the food.

You too can gift your husband with this kind of experience; all you have to do is pay attention.

May our husbands live long.

A Good Naija wife.

Enjoy.

OMG !! Tell me you`re joking!
So becaus of one white lady you met ALL MIXED RACE marriages don`t work?
Please , don`t say you`re NOT a racist, you obviously are one.
I do not understand how another woman can say that the lady is the deceiver , while the husband is screwing another woman??
And why MUST we foreign women HAVE to ACT like Nigerians? They  are not Nigerians and if those  Nigerian men would`ve wanted a Nigerian woman they should have married one, period!
For Christ sake , if any non Nigerian partner would demand their Nigerian husband/wife to act 100% ALL hell would brake loose and their white counterpart will be called a racist & a controllfreak who has no respect for her/his partners culture/background.
A marriage obviously cannot work if there no mutual understanding  , respect & love,

Linda

Baby Jinx:

Tope, my Naija Sister it saddens me to see you arguing with a man like this? Please don't be hardheaded, just submit now and everything. . . life will be perfect, just like mine. Don't act like non-naija women because you might end up on the losing end of the stick. Let me share a story with you, something that will give you pause and hopefully make you rethink your stance.

The Problem with Mixed-Marriages

I am very miffed today, I could scream but I won’t, I know how unladylike it is to do such a thing. If you are anything like me, I’m sure you understand why anger is not a good thing for a Good Naija wife. . . It sets the tone for the day and it might end up ruining our Husbands’ mood.

First of all, I want to make it very clear that I am not racist or anything but Naija men who marry foreigners make me so mad! These women don’t understand our ways and all they do is complain. I was at the grocery store getting steak for my husband’s dinner when this woman approached me, I guess she figured I was a Naija wife, since I had the tag with MRS (my husband's name) on my neck. Anyway, she wanted to know if I could tell her how to cook Efo riro, gbegiri and laafu for her Nigerian. . . Yoruba husband.

At first I wasn’t going to but then I thought of the poor Naija man who is probably reduced to eating toast, mashed potatoes and gravy morning afternoon and night. So I called my husband at work to seek his permission and of course he was absolutely receptive to the idea of teaching another woman the art of catering to her husband’s every need. Having gotten permission, we went to a coffee shop and started talking and she told me the real reason why she wanted to learn to cook for her husband’s native food.

Apparently, he had told her she wasn’t Nigerian enough for him. . . this after 6yrs of marriage and a son. He told her he was seeing another Nigerian woman (Whoopii! They always come back home) because she (the wife) worked too many long hours. . . she tried to excuse it by saying she had no choice because she didn’t want the Landlord kicking them out for not paying rent but I immediately told her not to even go there. That was such a flimsy excuse, working long hours to keep the roof over your family’s head?

What crock!

Anyway, the new girl is an illegal in the country, she can’t work and most likely relies on the Naija man for money. . . obviously why he fell for her. Lastly, he told her (his foreign wife) he didn’t want to be seen with her outside their home i.e no going to church or party with him. . . can you blame him? She is not a Naija wife.

Upset and at a loss on what to, she sought advice from our fellow Naija sisters who immediately told her not to lose hope, despite the fact that he does not come home to sleep. The lovely, generous Naija sisters also told her to go learn how to cook his food because you know the old saying. . . the way to a man’s heart his through his stomach.

So there you have it.

I won’t lie to you ladies. . . I was ready to get up and leave after she finished telling her story because I was so disgusted! This woman is such a deceiver! Can you imagine what length she must have gone to convince her poor husband she was Nigerian for 6 years! Six good years!! Thank God for the asylum seeking Naija girlfriend who opened his eyes and he finally realized the other woman wasn’t Nigerian enough for him. . . . but that’s six years down the drain!

Anyway, since I had already called my husband to seek his permission to help her, I called him back to tell him how I couldn’t help this woman because of her deceiving ways. He calmed me down and told me to remember the Naija man, he reminded me that our goal was to take our families back from the axis of evil. Fight the terrorist outside the home. . . so we don’t have to fight them in our home.

So I stayed and decided to help this foreigner keep one of our brothers. First stop, was gaining his love back and it had nothing to do with cooking his favorite food. . . . at least not yet. We needed to bring him home first and the only way to do it is taking care of his Asylum seeking Naija Girlfriend.

I have to stop here for today but I will continue as soon as I get the chance to.

Love and Kisses for our Naija husbands.

A Good Naija Wife

It`s so out of date!!

Still that didn`t stop him from sleeping with the woman and she got pregnant?
And now that child is called an " accident "??

lucabrasi:

men, this is serious looking at it from a purely practical aspect if the wife has no hang ups about it,it makes sense because then the child will have security and the wife being young needs a man in her life because its not fair for her life to be over just cause her husband is deceased, morally some might have a problem with it
So you`d actually advice someone to marry someone for the practical aspect?

I think it is sad that in some society`s women are unable to take care of her kids alone ,
unless , she also likes the brother of her deceased husband and they both would marry out of " love " ,
