jollyrogers: Please I need your advice and suggestions. My employment visa wish I applied for never worked out but the middle man refunded my deposit, and now I entend going to UAE to take the Nebosh IGC and any other important/ necessary certification so after the certification I can search for a job also. But Nebosh certificate takes about 2months to come out and don't know if it would be a waste of money. Anoda middle man suggested I take up a security job and the run the programs while on the job. So I don't know if it would be favorable cos I heard a 2yrs contract has to be signed. So would I have to wait till after the two years to now use my certificate to get a better job or is he lying so that he would get his cut from the job visa?. @Ken and the oil n gas dudes: wat other certification can I do in less than 30days? @all other : please I need urgent advice. Please please. Don't think that having a Nebosh certificate is a ticket to success or will make you stand out more than the next person. Go to any street in Deira and shout "NEBOSH" and more than 20people will show you their certificates |

ken1982: @monchouchou and justi4jesu please i would like to kno if it is possible for tw companies to apply for visa for one candidate or will MOL deny the second company from applying because the candidate in question has been applied for already I thought we already settled this. 2 companies cannot apply for the Visa of 1 person at the same time. MOL will definitely reject the second one and it will raise red flags. The second company will find out he is playing them and they might get pissed off. Tell you friend to be patient. If he doesn't trust the company asking for exit page he should go with the company that can process it while he is in Dubai. Has any of them uploaded a job offer on DHA Sheryan account?? |

i guess he has to give it a shot #Goodluck |

ken1982: can i tell him to request from the companies to do so cos it would mean they pay a token fee for the two documents and den he cn be rest assured that a company has his interests at hand Exactly. If they agree to do that they your friend will know they are serious and can leave the country without much fear. I highly doubt they will go through all that if they don't have genuine intentions towards him. |

ken1982: ok...can i track visa application online. my point is i can ask him to send the exit page to only one company and give dem the stipulated period they asked for (5 days for the visa process) while i go online and verify if they have applied for the visa
does that make sense It should be possible to check the status of a residency application online. Did a quick search online and got the link below. Might be worth trying. Or wait let @justi4jesu give you more info on that. http://ednrd.ae/images/posting_files/tutorial/Visapage_status_check.htmbut wait, I assume your friend has a DHA eligibility letter right? That means they need to first apply to convert the eligibility letter to a license. The company should show seriousness by uploading the job offer to the DHA portal first, then he can exit the country. |

ken1982: http://dubaiemploymenttips.com/contract/
monchouchou kindly read the "My employer asked me to sign a document titled “Contract of Employment”. Is this the document that binds me to an employee-employer relationship with a Dubai employer?" section
I don't know if this answers the question of fraud If he has just an offer letter, the same way it may not be binding on the company to process his visa is the same way the company should not be able to use it to bind him. However, when they take steps to start processing his visa on the basis of that offer letter is where the issue may now come up. No company will want to discover that they have been played like that after spending money (plus he would have wasted their time and they would have to start looking for someone else to hire). You get my point? It may not have any implication and it may also have a lot of implications. I really really cannot say. |

ken1982: Home health care, medical centre and polyclinic
can the individual face ban or his applications denied
how do i advise the friend I really don't know. Accepting 3 offer letters has an element of fraud in it so he could get a ban if one of the employers decides to pursue it. Its almost like a company promising to employ 3 people for one 1 position; its fraudulent and they can be fined for it. |

ken1982: PLEASE I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW FROM THE EXPERIENCED GURUS IN THE HOUSE. MY FRIEND HAS ABOUT 3 OFFERS HE HAS SIGNED. ONE OF THE COMPANIES IS ASKING FOR HIS EXIT PAGE (STAMPED OF COURSE). NOW I SUGGESTED THAT HE GETS MORE OFFERS AND SIGNS AND WHEN HE EXITS HE SHOULD SEND HIS EXIT PAGE TO ALL OF THEM...IS THIS WISE? LIKE WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS WITH IMMIGRATION?
WHAT IF THEY ALL OR AT LEAST TWO OF THE COMPANIES APPLY FOR HIS VISA. WILL THERE BE CONFLICTS ARISING OR WILL UAE IMMIGRATION DENY ANY FURTHER APPLICATIONS ONCE THEY RECEIVE THE FIRST.
Justi4jesu, Monchouchou...please. Hmn, some people are looking for 1 offer letter and someone else has 3 Anyway, it will definitely look bad if even 2 of those companies try to process his visa at the same time. Definitely immigration can only process one, but the other companies may cause trouble for him if they spend money trying to process his visa only to be told that he has played a prank on them. Is it that not even one of those companies is reliable and trust worthy? why is is having such fear that they will not process the visa? What sector are the companies? |

saintruky: Hello everyone, I've been following this thread with keen interest. I have a story line so would use myself for easy understanding to op n her advise.
I have a female friend who runs an architecture firm in Dubai with over a 100 employee. Says her mom is her boss. I had contact with her when she sent me a message to inquire if it was safe for her to make purchase on a particular site due to my post about d site on scam advisers. Ever since then weve been communicating n she's totally honest with me. She's a Muslim n has a bfrd.
Recently I told her about wat my sister is going thru n she has promised to help my sister secure a job in Dubai n if my sister is interested I should send her CV to her n also said since no money on our end, she would pay ma sis ticket n my sis can pay back. She also said my sis can stay with her for sometime, though employers give accommodation.
My sis is a trained Auxiliary Nurse.
Pls op what do u think? Cos am yet to info her if to go on or not, cos I dunno what life is in Dubai. She n I have been communicating via whatsapp. You know what Human trafficking is about, right? There are good people in the world and she may genuinely want to help you, but please shine your eyes. This is how people are trafficked and used as maids (or worse, prostitutes), their passports are seized and they are locked in doors at the mercy of wicked arabs. This is not stories and it happens everyday, everywhere. Be careful so you don't send your sister into hell all in the name of abroad living. What kind of job does she want to give your sister? definitely not a job as a nurse because she needs to be a registered nurse with DHA License. Just be careful. If you do decide to go ahead, make sure you get and verify all you can about this person. |

justi4jesu: Not all companies, some companies cannot process your Employment visa if you are still within the UAE, after exiting that's when his Employment visa can be applied but be very careful with all these companies. They could abandon your friend there who knows, he should just be careful and smart. I'm not in any way discouraging you but there is no harm in trying. That is one very bad thing about these visa change matters. So many companies abandon people in kish etc. especially when they get another employee with a better value to them(e.g accepting cheaper salaries). We have numerous people in Nigeria still awaiting their promised visas…….. |

iiiyyyk: No, Abu dhabi have a more convinient, easy and cheaper public transport than dubai. Very Effective bus system. Yes the is no metro, but abu dhabi don't have need for it now.., less visitors. Unlike dubai, buses in abu dhabi hardly full, Traffic flow is always free,
Monthly pass 80 Dihram, even if u enter 20 buses per day for 30days, 2 Dihram per drop.
Public transport is cheaper in Abu dhabi, I have used both. Really? didn't know that. good for their residents then |

Souljaboi1: Good day sir,
I would like to inquire about nice and inexpensive hotels for a week stay in Dubai. I tried using the various hotel booking platforms but I couldn't get a good deal. I'd appreciate if you can give me pointers.
Also would it be preferable going for a two room apartment with Kitchen (Mom and sister), or just two rooms would be fine. I ask because my last travel to the Middle East taught me the importance of having a Kitchen. However, since its just for a week I think we can manage.
Your response, recommendations and advise are quite anticipated.
Thank you
cc: Justwise and everyone on the thread. go online and search for hotel apartments. there are alot of cheap ones everywhere in dubai |

Jumeirah Beach Road is one if the high brow areas of Dubai. it's close to the beach and that makes it attractive to foreigners. you should not even be thinking about that area if you are looking for cheap accomodation. anyway, maybe someone else can assist you |

Justi,Natty, Mouchuochuo and co i greet you all, you guys are doing a great job. I've never liked the idea of living in Abu Dhabi. It always seems so boring to me whenever I visit. Transportation will definitely be more expensive due to the lack of metro and I don't know how their bus system works. Sorry cant be of much help to you in this area. @veleta, how is your job search coming on? A friend of mine also recently passed the dha and is job searching. Have you started making plans to come to Dubai ? |

nattybanta: repost d data on ur visa i.e permit number, date of birth and first name, sponsor and tel. so we can confirm that visa. U didn't post it complete that day. Cos am suspecting it isn't a direct employment visa I've heard about so many people that are deceived that way. They are tricked into believing its an employment visa but when they arrive the agent either tells them to look for a job themselves or the agent disappears until the 1month visa expires |

kanzjude: Please guys, someone helped me secure a 90days tourist visa in Dubai but the guy isn't straight forward again as he has been postponing my travel. I need to verify the authenticity of the visa and I equally need the assistance of a God fearing person that resides in Dubai who will receive me at the airport, share accommodation with me while I pay. And also help me in securing a job. Please help pals as I need to travel ASAP. Everyone is God fearing. Even your fellow Nigerians that will scam you and connive with the indians and Pakistanis to deceive you. Justi has answered you. No one can secure or guarantee a job for you unless you are coming with an employment Visa. ASAP, music to the ears of scammers as they can smell your desperation |

dannyabba: Hello house. Ummm... does the age limit apply to actual travel/arrival at UAE or just visa application? We already planned a family trip but now I might have to meet up with them a day or two later and I want(ed) to know if one of my parents would have to change flight as well and accompany me. Or if I would still be granted entry, evn though alone, as long as I have my visa. I'm 21 by the way. Thanks in advance. The age limit mostly affects the visa application and I think they have already stopped that nonsense as I haven't heard of any visa being refused because of age of recent. It will be better for you to travel with your parents because our immigration officers will not focus their attention on you.... |

And what will I print out?
Or its compulsory I go to book the ticket cash in hand. If yes, how do I locate their office, I wanna fly Kenya What do you mean by account details? If you are paying for your ticket online then you will need to use a credit card (don't think you can use your normal atm card) otherwise go to their office at the airport or any of their offices and pay. |
