Viking007: It is not my group and if you were removed it's because you were probably being a nuisance. You have been too helpful in this thread to resort to cheap lies, I just joined the group this evening from the link on your profile, I noticed someone removing members opposed to submitting their details, I only asked if that was the norm. Next thing, I was removed. One and only post. Please see screenshot.

All of you shouting add me add me to that Viking group, just know that you are expected to send your full banking details plus bvn to a total stranger, something your bank warns you against, failure to do so, you will be removed from the group. I thought it was a group to discus and follow up on the loan. The man just removed me for asking a question. |

Even though the fella talking about loan repayment might have lacked the right words to properly explain the importance of repaying these loans, it is a topic we should not shy away from. Pls, lets not see this money as free money, its a loan and we should immediately put it to good use. Defaulting have many dire consequences, two of which are your inability to use any bank account in your name anywhere in Nigeria, also you will be depriving others of accessing this facility.
So, instead of trading words, lets just take good advice and put this loan to good use. |

NadiaR: Ok....now I get but stilk don't know what the money deducted by NIRSAL for
I got 186k instead of 200 It is clear by comments like that most people didn't even bother to read the offer letter, they just clicked accept. Nirsal charges a 4% handling fee on all disbursed loans. Though yours look to be above the normal 4%. |

phantom24: fake claim, nobody has been credited yet moreover the least loan grouping is 500-1.5m there's no provision for 400k loan in the categories. No, its not fake. This was exactly what I did, you can actually input the amount you want after selecting your loan category. I wasn't sure of the whole thing back in April when I applied, so I just selected the least category (500k-1.5M) and entered N400k manually. They approved N360k for me, though I'm yet to see alert. |

SenatorJChris: Oga how are you sure his loan will not be approved? Do you work for CBN or NMFB? Your words are very discouraging and that's not good. He doesn't need to have a job or business at the moment to be given the loan. Oga please don't give people false hope, I know what I'm talking about. It is an interactive form, just try to fill the form for the fun of it, select no job and no business. Your application process will end there, they will just tell you successful. You won't get to where to select loan amount and tenor. For the person who made the mistake, you can try reapplying, that's what my friend did. |

Nezy4Real: I'm so confused right now. I just applied for the household loan this morning. While registering i selected 'non-employed' and selected 'no' for the question "are you a business owner". Although my application got submitted sucessfully but am afraid i may have done a wrong thing. Pls guys is it safe? I don't think you should bother expecting a loan approval. A friend made this same mistake, you won't even get to where to pick loan amount if you selected the details you stated. You want loan, yet you are saying you don't have a job or business. How are you going to pay back the loan? |

brunnette4real: pls how long does it take to get an sms from them?
I registered since lastweek wednesday and havent heard from them. Most of the people you see here getting alerts applied in March/April, few applied early May, so you have to wait. It can take months obviously. |

Mayamba: An I want to say a BBBIIIGGG thank you to Naira land and especially those on this thread. Because I actually thought all this thing was a scam. When I came here and discover some people having the same case with me, 50% of my doubts dissolved. The funny part is I withdrew all the money in the account I gave them just in case .... because I heard someone here saying he left 100 in his account. So I did the same just in case. But now... I am tempted to believe in Nigeria! When did you accept the offer? |

hardeyeanc: I received the alert not quite long... That's very good the FG, they approved 450k and I got 425k
I would have done the same for my sister to safe her d stress of going to NMFB to complete the account opening process, but I thought it was a scam so I don't want to put her account details, but for me I no get money wey dey want comot
I have some questions to ask if anybody have the answer
1. I selected 3 yrs for repayment with 1 year moratorium period but I went to back to the offer letter now and am seeing something like 12 months with 3 months moratorium.
2. I think a payment schedule should be sent to our mail so that we will know the exact amount to repay, we are just seeing 5% p.a for the first year and 9% p.a which one do we believe
Lastly ,the upfront payment is for what because me I didn't bother to read the story on the offer letter its just too much for me , I just checked the box and click on accept offer. 1. It looks that this is the standard offer for household loans. Max 1 year tenor. 2. The total loan plus 5% interest will be divided by 12, you are expected to pay each month starting from the 3 months moratorium. In your case, you'll probably be paying 40k monthly starting in 3 months. 3. Lastly, Nirsal Microfinance bank charged 4% to process the loan. Meanwhile, please could you let me know the day your accepted, because mine is approaching 48 hours now, accepted 2 days ago. |

For those who mistakenly clicked no when asked about bank transfer, they will open a Nirsal Microfinance Bank account for you, you just need to find the nearest branch when you receive your alert. You will get an alert when you are paid but the money will be in that account. People have been posting similar issues on twitter. |

Viking007: The amount varies according to your pocket. You will stand a better chance if you choose/apply for a loan your salary can afford, but go for something reasonable, say 500 and above. The SME category is for businesses and very cumbersome requiring guarantors, collateral etc, so my advice is choose the household plan. Please how long after accepting the offer were you credited? I accepted since yesterday, till now nothing. |
