I was thinking I could get up to $100 at least, I need to renew some names urgently. I might not honour the auction if it ends like this, worse worse, they will ban me from auction.

Lol, its crazy bro. My domain NFTdata (.) xyz is currently at 10.49, that's because it started at 8.49. Imagine it sells at this price and they charge $20 for wire transfer withdrawal. Is that not a loss?

GoDaddy/Afternic has just changed its minimum payout requirements for some countries, Nigeria inclusive. Our minimum payout is now $1030. Consequently, starting January 26, 2022, if one makes a sale less than the above mentioned amount, you must wait until you accumulate up to 1030 USD before they can process your payment. For me, this is bad

I don't think this is the case, if you look at the Nigerian tab in the payments column, you will notice 2 options, USD and NGN. The minimum only affects payments requests in NGN.

As always advised on this thread, please try to read from page 1 before venturing into this business. You can get a list of the cheapest registrars for any extension by using tld-list. com.

There are also other factors to consider when choosing a registrar apart from price e.g does your marketplace have an account with them?

what made you think it's just Nigerians? They're trying to do KYC if you want to be receiving funds with bitcoins. Simply upload your government ID or slip( I used NIN slip and it was accepted.) and photo of you holding the slip/ ID card. That's all. Also a utility bill with your current address on it or your bank statement where your address will be indicated. But if you cannot do these, opt for wire transfer option.

I already did that and received payment via crypto, I just checked this morning after someone posted it. It's been disabled for me and many others.

In as much as I understand the guys pain. But DAN too is exercising caution. You would not believe the fines and penalties this guys bear for aiding fraudulent transactions.

Dan is a regulated organization with compliance team and guidelines to checkmate being used as a pipeline for fraudulent transactions and also ensure that they are not used as conduit for money laundry.

See, strict adherence to compliance and T & C are standards with most of this big coy. In compliance standards and with regards to the concerns of DAN, the nature of the transactions looks suspicious. The red flag happens to be same IP.

Depending on the cost of the domain and several other occurrences they must have had overtime, it may have trigger Money Laundry suspicion or other type of suspicious activity report.

Some compliance bodies even have tools set up that can gather data about flagged customers transaction and activities related with their IP over time. A report can be generated from such data and such customer can be profiled wrongly and correctly.

It's possible in DAN's T and C their is a clause that a relationship can be terminated at anytime based on their own decision and with little or no explanations as with most financial and payment organizations.

Asking Dan to come and be explaining all or some this thing in an open thread, is like explaining how to a cat you want to catch how you set up the trap to catch it.

Looks like crypto payout have been disabled for all Nigerian accounts. This is really sad. I hope they reinstate it soon. Believe it or not, people have been abusing the crypto payout, they buy their own names with Nigerian card using imported lead (1% charge) then receive the payout using crypto.

Why didn't you just sell it on epik domain marketplace? It's the same 9% that they take. Now you have to start wasting time transferring a domain that could easily have sold at epik marketplace. It's like epik and Dan have reconciled. Next time, sell epik domains in their marketplace for easy payments and less stress.

All my domain names use DAN landers, this sale was a make offer. I prefer their overall market place experience. I don't do GEO names, this is a brandable name like the majority of my names. I don't see a lot of reported sales on Epik like DAN on namepros.

I just sold my first domain on DAN, the name is registered with Epik, I was only given the transfer option, but I would rather push because it is faster. Is there any way to go about that?

Domain investing and/or flipping is very easy and profitable if you're not under pressure for money needs. The best way to approach it is to have Plan B in place while building your domains for sale portfolio. By the time you hit the ground running in domaining, everyday will become financial blessings.
