pappilo:I agree with your first paragraph but the second paragraph isn’t true. I’m a U.K. resident and I know of two persons resident in Nigeria, one a friend and another an acquaintance, who are into online tech jobs and earning over £5k a month each. They do freelance tech jobs with multinational companies in the U.K., US and Australia. So his offer is a possibility but the after tax part was either fabricated or sugar-coated. |
Nigeria passport is only relevant when travelling to Nigeria. From Nigeria to abroad it’s immaterial regardless of age. I’ve never used my Nigerian passport when returning to Britain but just the U.K. passport and same is true for my niece who’s 12 and has been to Nigeria a few times now |
Everyone should find an escape route from that Zoo. You won’t realise how useless Nigeria is until you find yourself in a civilised country. It’s as useless as in useless. Glad I left that mess of a geographical expression at the time I did |
What’s this man’s job again? |
Awani007:Started all over with BSc. |
mrbionic:I did but BSc and I had already naturalised before I started. Actually will be starting my finals in September and still a student. |
Good idea but unfortunately can’t help as it’s Naija. I did studied microbiology in Naija and later studied nursing when I moved to the U.K. Being a nurse would open better doors for you in terms of migrating to countries like the U.K. US, Canada and Australia. I don’t know why many Nigerians don’t study nursing and other healthcare courses that can easily pave way for them to move abroad. |
I see some pegging the U.K. to be 500k. Only undocumented Nigerians in the U.K. should be close to a million and the documented ones should be not less than 500k. In my estimation as a Nigerian living in Britain for many years, I’ll say Nigerians living here are around 2million. However, I think there should be more Nigerians in the US than the U.K. |
I guess this is about mobile data and not broadband. £20 a month for unlimited data Location is London UK |
Before you say rubbish about these people, be informed that you’re no more different from them when you pray/worship your imaginary Allah/Jesus. It’s same brainwashing, stupidity and ignorance. |
I’m on ground live and direct at Abuja house. The Daura President must be sent back to the Zoo to use the same dilapidated healthcare he refused to fix. #BuhariMustGo Pictures coming... |
We are planning an occupy Abuja house London Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the dullard. He can’t continue to ruin Nigeria and come here to enjoy what they deprive us back home. #OccupyAbujaHouse #BuhariMustGo |
If you’re reading this please avoid Russia. If hunger knack you ehn...agu pia gi there. Better retire go your village farm than go to Russia. I say if hunger wire you no be person go tell you. A word is enough... |
Tats:Hmmm why’s it so...coz I was once denied? |
Was denied a US visa 2009 and German visa 2011. Later got a UK visa in 2012 and moved to the UK where I’ve now naturalised. Both denials were demoralising and left me frustrated as I had high hopes during the application process. With my British passport I don’t need a visa to travel to both countries and can’t even live in them. I feel like Britain suits me and my goals better than anywhere else in the world. |
Just booking space here so I can easily locate this thread for updates. As e dey hot |

narpheesarh:Ok many thanks. |
Please does anyone knows if British airways require a Covid test if you’re flying to the UK from Nigeria (Abuja)? |
Thank God I left before the lockdown but hoping Naija don’t lockdown the airports before I return after my Xmas holidays. |
Kekereekun123:Ok thanks |
Hi guys, is IELTs 7.5 score a good one? |
tolajay:Ok then. If looking for an affordable place avoid London by all means then as it’s quite pricey here. And I’ll suggest that where possible don’t settle for Birmingham and Manchester as well if you’re considering settling in England. Any city in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland shouldn’t be much expensive either. |
tolajay:If your question is based on the clean streets then it doesn’t really matter the location. Everywhere in Britain is developed and there’s really no difference between the big or small cities or the four nations that make up the U.K. Same infrastructure standard, services and quality of life. Only job opportunities varies according to the metropolitan structure of a city. |
Hi people, I have someone with 2years work experience but want to know if nysc can count as a work experience? |
Ok let me watch the others. Aside OBO, Tekno’s pana and Yemi Alade Johnny just hearing the others for the first time. |
When are they selling this useless country and sharing the money. |

Can’t say about the US&Canada but in the U.K. finding a Nigerian partner is a whole lot of task. I and most of my friends if not all have had no success in finding a partner throughout the years and it’s frustrating coz going to Naija to seek a partner and the challenges of them misbehaving once here as made us strike out that option. I think the dynamics of western way of life makes it strenuous to get into a relationship as everyone seem occupied with hustle with very little time to socialise. I’ll advise however that anyone seeking to relocate abroad should shun the idea of getting married at home as it won’t work long term due to distance. You don’t need any baggage left behind while you’re moving to a journey of uncertainties in search of a better life. |
The entire Lagos is a slum and inhabitable compared to cities in developed countries. Big houses with poor drainage system and dirty borehole water makes Lagos a slum |
