To answer your question.
It’s not just sinners. It’s a human instinct. And for what it’s worth we are all sinners. Also ‘Saint’ or ‘Sinner’ are very relative concepts..
Anyway, as humans .. religious or not there’s the evolutionary instinct to resort to an higher being when things are beyond our control. When you’re in transit a lot of factors are beyond your control. Most time you don’t say/remember ‘God help me’ when you’re confident of the outcome.

As an aside its crazy we have been brainwashed by the Christianity of ‘God I’m not worth it’ or ‘God kill the devil because of this undesirable situation’ which is a good money maker for pastors, instead of just seeing the Providence of God in human matters. I guess equal fault also to supposed Christians who have a very nursery and childlike interpretation and understanding of the Bible.

I feel your pain Bruh, you've only lost 5 million in 6 years, I lost thrice that in the space of a year, I had to start afresh.
My advice for you, avoid holding money cos the urge to gamble will always be there.
Secondly, Find a better addiction to replace them, it's not going to be easy but you've got to adhere strictly.
Bro how do you make that much money in a year huh?
RomanceRe: Masturbation, Betting Have Killed Me Help Out by monikulapo: 10:12pm On Aug 26, 2022
Dude you're just bored/jobless and not having/seeking sex.

~Every healthy adult guy goes through the masturbation phase man. A certain percentage get addicted to it, some masturbate casually, most get in healthy relationships and the rest just get over it. But being in a relationship and having real life responsibilities plus the expected natural progression of modern adult life limits the amount of time you would spend masturbating if other facets of your adult life were functioning normally.
So just get busy and seek out healthy relationships and you'll solve half your problems.
Gambling ... people who really go through it know you're the only person that can kick that habit/addiction .. admitting it's a problem is a good start though.

Let's be real .. Gambling probably won't be a problem if you had more disposable income and weren't masturbating - it still kind of boils down to .. just getting busy and seeking out healthy relationships.

HealthRe: Help: What Food Can Help Me Regain Back My Strength? by monikulapo:
Eat food rich in carbohydrates (Pasta, Rice, Garri etc) in a surplus to regain any lost weight. Combine then with proteins ( Beans, Eggs, Fish, Milk etc) and you’ve got a good staple base. Carbohydrates are also good as a primary energy source (prevents your body from breaking down your muscles for energy) and to make your muscle appear full.
Exercise can be used as a tool to strengthen the mind. You should incorporate a regimented strength training routine to regain your libido, improve your mental, physical strength and physique.

You can check my post history for dietary supplements.

HealthRe: Just Got Someone Pregnant... Advise Needed by monikulapo:
Having a child is not part of a recipe for Gods blessing and aborting a a fetus that’s less than a grain of rice isn’t the end of the world.
Fwiw a lot of decadence in our society is because of people making parents of people who are not ready for babies and parents having kids they cannot absolutely provide for.

Nollywood and poor sexual education has also conditioned the average Nigerian to think abortion is a death sentence or recipe for further complications. Nope it’s not.

If you cannot afford a child abort the foetus early and be at peace with yourself. The girl still has her whole life ahead of her, you also.
Only keep the baby If God speaks to you like that, you can afford the child and provide for the girl(further her education) and ultimately marry her. Else you’re in for an expensive life lesson you don’t need to pass through.

Also consider your partner going on Birth Control. Last I heard its free / cheap in most government clinics and you can do the do for months on end without being guilt tripped by strangers.

They primarily only hire senior engineers, the equivalent would be senior / staff engineers at Google.

So can you drop a practical way of how u solved the fibonnaci

Cause I know the recursive method and the memoization method
You can perform ‘binary search’ on the recursive stack. This simplifies the n solution to a log n solution.

How it happens is that from the original recursive method. There’s an identity which you can proof by induction that shows to find F(2n) it’s sufficient to find F(n) and F(n-1) … something like that. Therefore as n tend towards infinity, the amount of steps sorta converges.

Every step is halved, you also don’t need to save every Fibonacci sequence reducing redundancy. If you visualize the recursive stack afterwards (like draw the tree out) you’ll also see a binary relation.

That’s the practical way to solve it I think as you’ll still be using integers throughout and what you’re doing is essential optimizing your original dynamic solution.

If you use the mathematical formula, you’ll end up with an irrational fractional. That would affect the accuracy of your answer depending on how many decimal places you keep.

If you showed me the linear algebra implementation. I’ll just assume you don’t know whatyou’re talking about and you just got lucky with getting a question you already memorized.

What do you mean by "bootcamp developers". These talks reeks gatekeeping vibes to me.

Everyone is a developer, and every developer can be a top engineer if they put in the work. Regardless of their background, or whether they have a CS degree or not.
Gate keeping is too deep, I was just protecting the integrity of the post grin

In the context of the post. I was referring to ‘developers’ or people whose interests in computer science or coding is primarily an afterthought to make good money. Prior to making the clarifications there were comments from other users making a big deal about the maths requirement, whether it was hard or not, whether DS&A is even important or not, bla de bla.
If you’re going to complain about those, chances are your journey into this field is primarily through bootcamps. As with all things there might be exceptions to that.
Also take it for what is is but there was a guy who was arguing about what an algorithm is or some other bs. That’s someone who I would refer to as a bootcamp developer. It’s easy to tell hes good but he just got work ready … his fundamentals are off.

Finally if you meet actual developers you’ll know not everyone is a developer and not everyone can be a top engineer, ask Netflix engineers. But that’s just an aside.

Nah bruv you don't understand what I meant, he is right it can be done but what I'm saying is that it's not optimal since the user will just input the image and will not tag it so how will the system know what tag it is if the user doesn't tag it? That's where my argument comes from and yes he is more experienced than me but that doesn't mean he can't make mistakes
You need to initially train it with your own images or you use numerous other APIs out there. He mentioned it in his initial post. Sorry, I didn’t mean to be dismissive, what I implied is that it seems (>50% chance) that he’s on the right path considering his suggestion and post history.

Jayjayango:
Okay let's get technical here, for SEO you specifically tag an image with exactly what it is, for his application it doesn't have the plethora of sources Google has and he can't tag everything, if u search using Google lens it doesn't use tags mate, it uses recognition based on ML patterns so everyday their accuracy is ever increasing but that aside basically the application he is trying to build is not feasible the way he wants it unless of course he connects google lens to it I'm not even sure Google lens has an API but perhaps it might
The dude you’re contesting with is actually right and if you did a little bit of research you’ll see he’s more experienced than you. Respect a little man.
ProgrammingRe: Programmers How Can I Achieve This by monikulapo:
You could use tensorflow to train your app on your images and display a search on your app. You can whip one up using python. As devdev said you would also use tags and tbh that should be your first considerations (if this is for a business. So you can test out the idea before going fully in the ML route), then you can incrementally improve your tags before promising heaven coz you’re going to need that after you train the AI. Think of tags as what the AI sees when you upload a media asset so exploring that lazy mango example. There’s more properties to a mango - type, color, volume even meta data such as location, date etc that can be assigned to an object. This is a gross simplification but a current grad student should be able to make you a good app. There are also lots of credible resources on the internet.

Lol, don't flatter yourself yet.

Your illustration is wrong, it's totally not a brute force algorithm to begin with, I don't think you even understand what brute force algorithms are. Adding statements inside a loop does not make it a brute force algorithm lol.

To be honest you should review your basics. For starters, a program is an algorithm that's represented formally so a computer can execute it, an algorithm is a set of finite steps that does something. All programs are fundamentally algorithms written for computers, just because I/u don't actually write the algorithm down does not change this fact.

You think of algorithms as brute force, greedy, divide & conquer e.t.c you're wrong, these are used to classify common algorithms. What would you think of dfs, bfs, binary search then? what's the difference between a brute force algorithm and a binary search?
Hahahaha broooo
ProgrammingRe: So There Are Devs That Earn Up To 30k USD. by monikulapo:
Altairx440:
You're wrong, loops and conditionals are all building blocks of algorithms, you would know this if you actually understood and developed new algorithms and not just memorize them.
Hahaha, English comprehension is a problem and don’t flatter me grin I’m not even smart enough to memorize common Binary search.
How is building block of an algorithm an algorithm ?

If I tell you to Bleep yourself that’s a statement.
Now if I tell you get a Love Machine, create an infinite loop and then put the first statement in that infinite loop. That a brute force algorithm to Bleep yourself silly.

So everything I mentioned are properties of an algorithm but on its own they’re not algorithms. Do good for yourself and read to comprehend and not to provide rebuttals.

And yes I don’t develop any new original algorithms .. do you ? what point are you trying to make ?

For now I can comfortably implement a linked list, binary tree structure and a graph

I wonder is DSA important for web developers due to heavy dependence on database
If you want to focus on backend, it wouldn’t hurt to at least know the sort, search algorithms and their runtimes. Most other algorithms you would be advised on when / how to implement them by senior programmers in your team.

If you want to progress faster than your colleagues and take up a management or architect solutions within a foreign team, you need to have had a working knowledge of various DS&A.

Linked list to Binary Trees and then Graphs seems like scattered learning though ?? .. you should use a curriculum when studying DS&A. Binary Trees and Graphs are topics that could get advanced and theoretical really fast even though they’re very intuitive.

of course. But do i really need to write those algorithms to be a Dev because it would mean reinventing the wheels rewriting forloop, if else statement, hashing and lots more others algo.

The answer is no.

What I am trying to say is that most tooling comes already with its algorithms which we make use of without even knowing.

Learning DSA gives you indept knowledge on how this things works under the wood and makes you better programmer. But it is optional.
FWIW loops, conditionals and other program syntax and semantics are not algorithms. Look up basic sort algorithm (bubble, insertion etc) to have a feel for what an algorithm is. Think about it this way algorithm is like a food recipe.

It’s also why the people who say it’s easy or it’s hard are both right. Anyone can cook spaghetti, but there’s levels to bachelor spaghetti and a restaurant chef spaghetti. That difference is the quality of algorithm.

My original post was for Hannania actually coz he mentioned he has a friend in meta, he’s aiming for FAANG, he didn’t mention Javascript and he came across like he has academic interest in CS.

My post was not for bootcamp developers who see Tech as an easy way to escape Nigerian troubles. You don’t even need DS&A or good logical reasoning to make decent money if that’s your reality.

There’s no way a reputable test would say Low T … it’s either in range or not within range, plus you didn’t say what Testosterone was tested for, besides you have to do the test multiple times to be sure because T fluctuates spending on time of day, external stress etc. Finally, you cannot conclude low T independently without considering other factors.
