It wasn't supposed to stretch that long, but u know, we are talking about 'Powers that be' here, One would wonder why only Abuja? And more so, not everyone will be on this platform... Just be prayerful and hope that your cumulative score(apt test and interview scores) is high enough to earn you an offer letter from them. The consultants are still very much in charge, they are the quite or silent ones on every interview panel, they just observe and record.



Finally, I urge you to be very prayerful.. because wetin I dey see so, na only prayers fit work for the ordinary man.

You lie! I feel sorry for you if you are just making shit like this up to bring others down. It says alot about who you are. A miserable person. Shakur is the DD corporate services and decision maker of this recruitment process. Surprisingly he has been way too strict with enabling stakeholders list. Go and ask anyone in DPR the staff kids that made it to interview stage is only about 10% because shakur explicitly made it clear that any staff kid that did not do well in exam won't be called and he did exactly that. Stop this BS of people getting invites ahead of the inital release date. They added stakeholder list with merit and invites were released same day. Nobody got 2weeks headstart like you claim. Which is why those also writing 2nd week are not getting their dates and venue yet until it is a week before. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying so hard to delivery bad news. If you got your invite, pls go and get busy. Face your life if you have nothing encouraging to dish out.

Will update when i know more but i know it's not going to be a long session per person because there's alot of ppl and it's just for 2weeks. Interview is by department with panelist that will enter score for the different criteria they have drawn up in their system. I can't tell what kind of question each dept will be asked so best to prepare for both current affairs and yur field based questions.

Pls i still don't know how to access personal message sent from nairaland and i get quiet alot of emails for this. I can't see then nor respond and honestly i don't have answers too but whatever i know that i can share i will do so here. I am also going for interview so we are all in same boat.
P.S... i am a lady for future correspondence

duly shortlisted candidates, which followed the
approval of their applications for advertised
positions in the Department.
It is important for the public to note that the
ongoing recruitment exercise is being carried out
in accordance with extant rules guiding such
exercises in the Nigerian Public Service. We
therefore wish to assure all Nigerians that the
process is being undertaken with a high sense of
responsibility, transparency and fairness,

To this end therefore, the process has been
designed to be rigorous and competitive to ensure
that only the very best candidates are chosen

abilities.

rumours circulating in the media or elsewhere to
the effect that special consideration is being given
to certain Nigerians and / or their wards regarding
the ongoing recruitment, are manifestly false, and
should be disregarded in its entirety as the

that, candidates who participated in the recently

if you got the email i suggest you prepare for interview. But then again we can all wait to get confirmation of this when invites are sent. If you really have a source in DPR they would have asked you if you got the mail when it was initially sent out of concern. Your response to them would determine wat they tell yu next.

The reason more people were added is simply because the initial shortlisting was done across board with the same cut off. Apparently they realised some fields for the recruitment are more than the other e.g if they are only recruiting 2 lawyers and they shortlisted 100 candidates across board calculate the ratio of that against having to take in 85 engineers with the same 100 shortlisted accross board. How about we all just relax and wait patiently as we have over the year for the next phase...have a great day.
Of course this won't make sense to you if you still dont know those with portals opened that got the update email are the shortlisted candidates for interview ON MERIT.
