Stop playing too wise! Majority are not saying COVID19 is a scam but that the figures are outrageous. I work in in a hospital and I have an intern who lost her dad to the disease. But then, how many of these patients have we seen live on TV?
After all, journalists could wear full gears and be allowed to see them being treated. Same Kano that we were made to believe had an acute outbreak suddenly has curbed the surge, with all those difficult-to-control Almajiris who were testing positive in droves? So what happened there? Why does the NCDC chose to release these bogus figures late at night? I can go on and on with these questions.. Personally, I can't wait to see how this will end eventually. All the best to NCDC in their quest in creating virtual patients on whom they are spending the funds alloted for the COVID-19 cause.

You need to understand how things work. Those patients DO NOT want to be shown on TV.. Would you announce your positive status if it were you? They know how ignorant the society is and the stigmatisation that may follow.. The tests cannot be manipulated by anyone. I've former colleagues at both NIMR and 54gene and I'm a microbiologist. These analysts overwork themselves and report what they see. Let's stop all these please..Imagine sacrificing your rest period for overtime in the Laboratory and you hear people calling the figures a scam.
We are killing the spirit of the frontline workers. The government partnered with 54gene and Lifebank to conduct these tests and these are reputable organisations who will not alter results. Why will any government play politics with a disease that killed the COS to the president? Why are Nigerians like this?

Nigeria is arguably the only country where some clowns see Covid-19 as a scam. This shows how poorly enlightened Nigerians are. They just don't get it. This has further reinforced the school of thought that says the society is the problem NOT the leadership. Some do not even understand how the government is losing millions by implementing partial lockdown; All they think of is the billions that are supposedly looted. Why will any government be deliberately losing money because they want to loot lesser amounts?

There's no vaccine for Covid-19, the doctors only try to treat the symptoms and because a lot of diseases share some common symptoms, similar treatments might be administered. This is done while your body fights the virus on its own. This also answers the questions of those always asking why the medics and ex carriers are not publicizing the treatment. People's symptoms differ so what treatment do you want exactly?

My conclusion is that education has failed in Nigeria. Lots of so called educated people still don't get it and we wonder why the country is like this? Why will someone compare Covid-19 with Malaria. Is Malaria also killing people in US and UK? I tire!

We all know APC is only keeping the cash flow going and that is evident of a huge scam in place.

Lagos state head teachers were recently briefed to send 39 student names per school, which means they are just strategizing on how to patch the account in case someone asks questions. How many kids have they been feeding? I am saying this authoritatively that APC is scamming Nigerians!

The amount of money spent (almost N700 million or 2 million USD per day) on "feeding" the kids would create factories and other industries that would eliminate poverty and help create a better social security for the people.

I was also shocked the day the NCDC said "Corona virus will surely get to all states in Nigeria". Since that day, I started suspecting that those guys at NCDC have a mission to accomplish with support from within and outside the country.

How can you make sure a statement in public not even once and Nigerians will not suspect you.

If you look at some countries that also have this virus, you would realize that it is not the entire country that is affected.

Lastly, not as if I doubt the presence of the virus in Nigeria. But I doubt the daily figures generated by NCDC without showing us any proof on TV as it is done worldwide and the general hysteria accompanying this virus.

For about two months and still counting, the fatality rate is still not bad as compared to developed countries, that is even if NCDC are giving us the correct figures.

These are the people we should avoid. Because his relative is yet to die via the virus he's seeing everything as scam. How will a sane government be losing billions daily by closing it's economy because it wants to cash out a few billions from donors? People need to really reason before they talk. Honestly, if I have my way, I will ship people like that guy to the isolation center to put them at risk. Maybe they will understand when we do that. Are they normal at all? How can a normal being doubt what is killing people? It's a pity people like that share a country with me.
