RomanceRe: I Get Tired Of Girls & Relationship Easily, Is Anything Wrong With Me? by moodswing(m): 12:32pm On Apr 19, 2013
My dear you are still emotionally immature and economically insecure. I used to be like that when I was younger but before I was 30, I found out that I've become emotionally stable and consistently dealing with the baggages that comes with relationship without getting bored.

You will naturally outgrow it as you become older and more economically independent.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: On Interview, How Do I Answer The Salary Question? by moodswing(m): 5:08pm On Apr 15, 2013
This question is usually a ploy to generate an alibi on why you couldn't be offered the job if you ask for what is due you in terms of financial remuneration for your toil.
RomanceRe: Ways To Stop Constant Fighting In A Relationship by moodswing(m): 5:06pm On Apr 15, 2013
Unfortunately constant fighting is what brings about true test of resolve for two people in a relationship.

IF YOU MUST DATE A NIGERIAN GIRL............ FIGHTING IS THE ONLY WAY TO SURVIVE IT.

ESPECIALLY with an IGBO girl, The makeup Seeexxx is usually what makes fighting worth it.. too intense to be ignored.

PoliticsRe: Fashola Puts Country’s Woes On Leaders’ Poor Education by moodswing(m): 4:57pm On Apr 15, 2013
I agree with you.....

Gbawe: Goodluck Jonathan, much as it pains me to say so as a Nigerian, is not an example of an 'exception' that dispels Fashola's conclusion. GEJ, rather, is validation of what Fashola is saying precisely. I don't know many contemporary leaders as unintelligent-sounding as GEJ is. I don't know many who are so lacking in the basic/routine leadership skills, at the level GEJ is operating at, as our President embarrassingly is. A bit like saying one is a professional footballer when one cannot even kick a ball properly !!!! Frankly, I am sure his peers , worldwide, joke privately over what GEJ's PHD reveals about Nigerian education.

Regarding Obama and his stance on gay rights, poor contextual example. Irrelevant actually. You are simply letting your personal opinion sway you against what is inevitable and must be planned for. You cannot conclude the support for homosexuality or the rigid rejection of it as being related to education or the lack of it. You cannot conclude Obama is 'uneducated' because he backs gay rights. Rather, I think Obama accepts that Gays are here to stay. We either accommodate them or keep being driven by the sort of ego that never gets things done and can leave humanity, as is the case with Africa, unprepared for the future and inevitably/inadvertently preparing itself for future headache because of today's myopia. In fact, it would not be unusual for rabidly pro-Gay activists to argue it is you who displays lack of education with homophobia that is fast becoming the equivalent of a 1979 suitcase phone in 2013. there should be a middle ground of 'live and let live' in my opinion.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Puts Country’s Woes On Leaders’ Poor Education by moodswing(m): 2:23pm On Apr 15, 2013
I disagree. Goodluck Jonathan is educated yet he he's about to grant Boko Haram Amnesty.

Obama is highly educated, yet he pitched tent with homosexuals.

Idiocy has become part of human existence, and that's the major cause of bad leadership.
FamilyRe: How Can You Overcome The Death Of A Spouse? by moodswing(m): 3:09pm On Apr 10, 2013
My dear, I think it's about timne to let go. You can't spend the rest of your life mourning. I understand that you naturally couldn't come to terms with standing on your past to leap towards the future but you have to accept what you can't change and find ways to be happy again.

Whereever your late spouse is right now, he must be really sad because he would want you to be happy for him. Living the pain won't do you any good.

Go out there, make new friends, possibly fall in love again and be happy. You owe yourself that. It's not easy but there's no question that you could do it.

May God help you...
CelebritiesRe: Africa’s First Same-Sex Marriage In South Africa (pictures) by moodswing(m): 2:58pm On Apr 10, 2013
Finally, South Africa has woken up. The rest of Africa will soon rise to acknowledge that the only way to deal with the issue of same sex marriage is to legalize it.

As long as people fail to recognize it, it will still be upon us as a challenge.

Rest my case for now....

PoliticsRe: Akunyili Supports Death Penalty For Corruption by moodswing(m): 1:46pm On Apr 04, 2013
I'd prefer that anyone convicted of corruption be made to return the loot + 300% interest or be sentenced to death by stoning in a public square.

Trust me, if this is implemented, Them Obsasanjo's will activate their alternate citizenship. Only few of us will be left behind. cheesy
PoliticsRe: Do You Perform The Citizens Obligations As A Nigerian? by moodswing(m): 5:59pm On Mar 31, 2013
Before I answer this question, I want you to ask the state If it has fulfilled it's obligation to me as a citizen?.

1) Has the state fulfilled it's obligation in protecting my life and property?. NO

2) Has the state guaranteed my freedom of speech? Movement, association and other equal inalienable rights as enshrined in my fundamental rights as a person?. NO

As long as as I am concerned, the state does not me owe me these duties and neither do I owe the state any civic responsibility.

Our government is only a feared criminal organization legitimized through forces of cohesion, and enjoys monopoly of crime.

Let justice and fairness prevail....

PoliticsRe: PDP Lauds Judgment On ‘state Of Lagos’ by moodswing(m): 10:06am On Mar 28, 2013
Mind you, our system of government as a federal republic is largely borrowed from that of the USA.

Every state is prefixed with "state of" which is correct because every state ( federating unit ) is owned by the people within the geographical area denoted with the name of that state. "State of" is a state within a named area occupied by the people of such place.

Osun state is a federating unit in Nigeria, owned by the people of Osun.
PoliticsRe: PDP Lauds Judgment On ‘state Of Lagos’ by moodswing(m): 9:52am On Mar 28, 2013
So you mean to tell me that Aragbesola is an elected governor in "Osun State" but now a governor of the "state of osun" which according to you solomons does not exist in Nigeria, yet receives federal allocation from Nigeria. huh?

If the satate of Osun does not exists in our constitution why does it still function as a state in our republic and where is Osun state now?.

Most of the states were created during the "military" era, but we practice federalism. In federalism, the centre government derives its powers from the federating units also referred to as the states, and not the state deroiving it's power from the centre.

Every state has a right to self government, and can make or amend it's own laws, as long as it does not explicitly conflict with the national constitution. Which applies in the case of Osun.

Osun state sounds like the state is owned by the cebtre government, state of osun sounds like the state belongs to the people of osun, which is the case here.

"federalism" is also used to describe a system of government in which sovereignty is constitutionally divided between a central governing authority and constituent political units (such as states or provinces).

Cut down d unnecessary spending Gov, but continue d Development in yr state
Are you ok?.

Do you know how much that criminal receives as allocation?. Please equate it with the worth of the infrstaructure less recurring expenditures. You will notice that even the overinflated cost, does not balance it out. He's a th1ef.
PoliticsRe: PDP: Akpabio Is Not A Spendthrift, He’s Benevolent, Kind Hearted by moodswing(m): 12:55pm On Mar 24, 2013
Akpabio deserves to be tied and shot in a local Akwaibom market. I don't blame him, the huge allocation he receives from the central govt is big enough to make a stup1d man go mad.

He's obviously beaten Rochas Okorocha to the worst Governor title.

Christianity EtcRe: Should A Student Pay Tithe? by moodswing(m): 9:13pm On Mar 09, 2013
Tithing is for those who believe what men say about God and not the word of God.

Let me ask most of you:

We are Christians because we live in the likeness of chriust's life on earth. How can you claim to be a Christian, when you still live according to the imperfect mosaic convenant.

Tithe should be criminalized by the Govt and these thieves in expensive suits sent to hell.

Only FOOLS pay this illegal 10% tax termed tithe. An average christian is not a believer neither do they know the word of God, but depends solely on what their pastor interpretes. Shame!, but may God have mercy on the ignorant.

eyenCalabar: Which is?
Cultism.

Like someone said. There's no cultism in universities but fraternities. And people fraternize to share and protect a common interest. So calm down.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Suggest Ways One Can Leave Cultism Without Being Hurt by moodswing(m): 7:36pm On Mar 07, 2013
Bros, you do not know the bible neither do you know Jesus than me. Forget this your decoration and face the subject matter.

eyenCalabar: Brother, there is nothing like oath. Jesus Christ already made an ultimate oath with all humans through His blood. The moment you are awaken to this reality by confesing His Lordship upon your life, that oath is then ACTIVATED in you which SUPERCEDES every other oaths you [might have] made in the past. Today, He is waiting for you to do that. I can be of help to lead you to Jesus. I can teach you how to activate powers through Jesus that would work like charms for you. There is no better time than now. Angels are waiting to celebrate your return and recognition of what our Lord Jesus did for everybody including you. You have a choice now. Don't allow the devil to destroy your life out of ignorance. Act now!!!

Nairaland GeneralRe: Suggest Ways One Can Leave Cultism Without Being Hurt by moodswing(m): 6:38pm On Mar 07, 2013
eyenCalabar: Cultism has really eaten into the fabric of our society especially on our campuses. One wonders the benefit of it. It promises protection but at the end, you becomes defenseless; it promises freedom but you are never free even from day one you sign up. What then actually pushes people into cultism? Well, that would be a debate for another day but for the purpose of this thread, can we suggest ways that an already entangled fellow can use and find his/her out without being hurt? Please, let's make some useful suggestions for these guys as they may be reading this post or having a relative that maybe in a cult. Some of them do regret but lacks the idea on how to get off the hook. Please let's have your suggestions. Thank you.

Mod, please, do me a little favour of hiding SimonAndal's comment if at all he shows up on this thread.
Go to Radio Nigeria and denounce, then return every soul you have teken if any, then call the police to arrest you. Or probably shoot yourself by yourself.

I see no reason why anyone who joined a cult needs to denounce. What happens to the oath?.

Nwanne No leg hanging.
