But I can tell you this, you and him need to sort this out. Maybe he wants to get married to you because he doesn't want to lose you to any other guy. He wants legality between both of y'all and I can understand that from a man's point of view. Some guys also see marriage as a step of maturity that they are ready to settle down. Find out what marriage means to him and if it means a lot to him, you might as well settle for a little registry wedding. It doesn't have the be the church and white wedding gown. Let him understand that you do not want to be seen as an acquired property but you want to be seen in a different light than you used to be.

I view marriage as more than ball and chain instead I view it as jail term.

I do dream about getting married because of the glamour associated with it but these days, i'll be happy just having kids with a man.

Are you guys living together already? This might help you know if you will be compatible as husband and wife.

We were on the same side when Hornets were misbehaving because Lakers and Mavericks are the the only team I can stand in the West apart from Hornets.
My Hornets will train themselves. Most of them are young - CP3 only 23 and they have a young dynamic coach. At their prime, they will defeat Lakers, Cavs and Celtics with ease. CP3 is amazing and he showed himself tonight along with Chandler and D. West.

Orlando has improved. I give them that. Same with Heat. I see D. Wade is just blazing through with his team. A lot of teams have stepped up this season and it's very encourageing.

Well Marriage is an institution that should not be joked with and if you really think you never want to be married, don't go into it. It should be a mutual decision. If he wants marriage and you don't then you guys do not have the same vision as to where that relationship is going. To tell you the truth, the only reason I want to get married is for the gifts and the evidence, LOL! I think it's overrated but it's good to have something that legally states that the man is yours to have.
I see marriage as being a two-way ownership. If a man thinks you don't own him, he has no idea what marriage actually is. But as some have said over time, it is not meant for every one. Pitt and Jolie are not married and they are happy adopting kids everywhere.

All I'm saying is if he really wants to get married and you don't, that could create a wedge in between you two so maybe you should talk about it more in detail. Hopefully, you'll be able to figure out what you want by then.
Also, I understand where you're coming from. The idea that I may be tied down to one guy for a lifetime scares the living daylights out of me but I thought I was the only female who thought that way.

The team thingy worked for them last season and they were one big happy family but to lose by 2 pts to Heat and then 3 to Orlando magic in a space of 3 days is quite drastic. For crying out loud, Magic outplayed them in the 3rd quarter by 10 points. I just want to know what Jackson is doing about it. The guy might be getting quite old though
